Historic Beach House - 5 minute walk to Pleasure Pier!

Come explore the amazing location of this updated historical home.
The space: This is the downstairs unit that is part of a triplex, 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs units. Originally built in 1910, this home is part of the Silk Stocking historic district. Although the space has been updated, it still retains its old-world charm and inviting feel. Walk through the front door and experience the 2 large sitting areas with a large dining room table. (Room for 6) There is also a large kitchen stocked with all cookware ready for any occasion. This unit has 2 bedrooms – 1 holds a king bed while the other bedrooms is outfitted with 2 twin beds. You will also find a private laundry room with washer and dryer.
Please note: If you have a large group, you can book 2 or all 3 units pending availability. Please send a message if you are interested.

Outside of the house you will find a common area outfitted with a fire pit, BBQ and ample sitting area. Cook smores over the fire to cap off a long day at the beach or fire up the BBQ to cook a relaxing dinner for the evening under the string lights.

The Location: Situated in the middle of many attractions, you will find lots of entertainment within walking distance. Enjoy an easy 5 minute walk to pleasure pier or sit down at one of the many fantastic restaurants that surround it. The strand, where the cruise ship terminals are located, is a quick 5 minute drive. The house is also located very conveniently to the trolly drop off areas. The trolly’s run throughout the east part of the island, will take you to the strand or down sea wall.

Things to know: There is a ring doorbell on the exterior door of the house. There are 4 cameras on the exterior of the house covering the common areas, there are no cameras inside the house.
Dogs are allowed with an additional fee of $20 - per dog per night. * Please note, we do not allow any other type of animals including cats.
There is ample street parking available.

Absolutely perfect

This property was an absolute delight! we could tell that every small detail had been thoughtfully considered. The property itself is wonderfully spacious, offering plenty of room for our family to relax and unwind without feeling cramped. The decoration has such a great touch!We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and beautifully appointed place to stay!

A Perfect Stay- FIVE STARS

I recently stayed at this beautiful Vrbo property with my family and fur babies and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The home was exactly as described—if anything, even better in person. It was spotless upon arrival, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home. The decor was tasteful and cozy, and every room was well-appointed with everything we needed.The kitchen was fully stocked with quality cookware and utensils, which made it easy for us to prepare meals if we needed to. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linens and towels provided were fresh and high-quality. We especially loved the outdoor space—whether it was enjoying coffee on the deck in the morning or relaxing under the stars at night, it was a peaceful and private escape fully equipped with patio chairs surrounding a fire pit, a grill, and even an outdoor shower area to wash off sand after an awesome day at the beach, which was merely a five minute walk away! The host was responsive, friendly, and clearly committed to making sure guests have a great experience. Communication was prompt and helpful, and check-in/check-out was seamless.Location-wise, the property was ideal. Close enough to attractions, restaurants, and shops, yet far enough away to enjoy quiet and relaxation. Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, I highly recommend this place. I would absolutely return!

Absolutely gorgeous!

This home has the best of both worlds- vintage charm with modern amenities. Sparkly clean, beautifully furnished, nice electronics, nice bathroom and effective a/c. Plenty of easy street parking and a great walking neighborhood.

Pictures don’t do this place justice

My friends and I stayed and we were so surprised by how cute it was in person. The pictures definitely don’t give this place justice, it’s so cute in person. Lots of space, comfy beds, all the comforts of home like a coffee maker, washer/dryer, dining table, and lots of comfy blanket to relax on the couch and watch tv with. The house is also very close to the ocean, and the Belle unit has a cooler and wagon to make a beach day much easier for guests. We had some issues the first night with an outside security light, I message the owners and they had it fixed the next morning. So they are wonderful hosts and very responsive. Will most definitely be back!!

Such a lovely stay!

This house had everything we needed and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the style and decor. The house was very comfortable and I will definitely stay here again. I usually have to pack everything. From beach umbrellas to toys and it was all here. Now I could relax and enjoy. Thank you for a wonderful stay so close to the beach.

Keeping it in the family! This is a mother (Shana), son (Cory) and daughter-in-law (Ashley) trio. We bought this home because we love to travel with our family and friends and this home is the perfect spot! If traveling in a small or large group, this home will do the hosting. Animals are an intricate part of our family, and they are always welcome in our homes.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

As a family, our favorite vacations are warm weather, beach destinations, where we can relax and enjoy the surf and sun. We chose Galveston because it is on the Gulf and has a unique feeling of being in the Caribbean while still being planted in the U.S. This quaint island is a world of its own while being just a short drive from southern Texas. The small but mighty island has all the amenities, attractions, and activities as the mainland.

This is a historic Victorian home built in 1915 and located in the Silk Stockings District. The three separate apartments, including three full kitchens makes this home a unique piece of history. Over the years it was used as a boarding house and still show cases it’s old-world character while being updated and modernized. This is the perfect location! Only four blocks from the historic Pleasure Pier, The Strand, and the beaches on the Seawall. We offer hotel-quality linens and towels, luxury mattresses, fully stocked coffee bar, and all the amenities of being at home!
