We stayed at this house during a week long horse show at the horse park. The location can’t be beat for convenience. The house is very clean with comfortable beds and is located in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions and check in and check out were easy.

Pet friendly, clean. Everything we needed was provided including some extra in the fridge..kids lived the cookies and dog lived your treats. Close to everything we needed Would stay again

Lexington weekend stay

I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in Lexington. The home was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very easy to work with.

Great location, awesome Mid-century Vibes

Loved the house, perfect for our family of 6! Location to everything we were in Lexington for couldn’t be beat. Cute and quiet little neighborhood. The design and details were wonderful and I took lots of inspo photos for our own home style.

PERFECT STAY

Perfect stay for UK graduation for our family of 6. Clean and convenient and less than 10 minutes to campus! Quaint, quite neighborhood and the host we're amazing.

Convenient location

Great location! We like to do lots of different things and this place was kind of a good central point. The house was very clean and well appointed with everything you need. Convenience store/gas station right down the road and a Walmart not too far away. Enjoyed our stay.!

Amazing home, but whats even more amazing is their attention to detail. Stop looking at other places and book this place asap. I can't wait to visit Lexington again, so we can stsy here!

Just amazing!

I cannot say enough about these owners, they are simply amazing. This home is so cool, interesting, fun, clean, and just perfect for our family. The location is perfect! The owners were so helpful and friendly, we would absolutely stay here again. 10/10 recommend!

I recently had the most incredible stay at The Yalla House hosted by an exceptional host! From start to finish, their attentiveness and hospitality were unmatched. The house itself was stunning, offering all the comforts of home. I highly recommend The Yalla House and can't wait to return!

Road trip stop

We stayed two nights in Lexington for the first stop on our spring break road trip with the family, including our dog. The communication was clear and timely. The house was perfect for our needs. We had one request during our stay that was addressed quickly. I would highly recommend this house!

Short stay

Overall our stay was great. If I had to find anything to be picky about it would be to have dark curtains on all the bedroom windows so that guests can sleep in on their vacation. The rooms got very bright early in the morning. Otherwise it was a great place for a family to stay. I loved the games and music provided.

Cute and clean

Great location with easy access to the highway. Great backyard for dogs. Our lab pup spent a lot of time hunting for and collecting sticks. We enjoyed just sitting in the yard enjoying the sunshine. The house had everything we needed.

Claiborne Trip

Cozy, easy access to main highways/interstates. Clean property, great communication. We had a plumbing issue with one of the bathrooms, but the owners were very responsive and repairs were made. Things happen. Would recommend and will likely consider staying here again when we visit our daughter.

Main bathroom toilet was clogged when we arrived, and took them 3 days to fix it. So 5 people had to use the bathroom in the extra bed room. We asked for and were told we would get a refund, but now are ignored! They seem to be stuck on a 5 star rating when the home is 3 star at best in a 2 star location.
Electrical wires exposed.
Id say house is 60 years old
Toilet backed up into the shower this is how it was left after it was fixed

VRBO is working diligently to remove this retaliatory review. Plumbing is always carefully checked before each guest. It was fine prior to arrival and guest clogged the system with debris. Guest requested a refund immediately, but it refund was not promised. Guest's group caused intentional damage to our system from the report our plumber sent. We appreciate VRBO for working to remove this review.

Great house, safe area

This is a great property! Super good layout. One bedroom is on the other side of the house with its own bathroom which provides great privacy! The second two bedrooms are well set up and share a bathroom. Super quiet neighborhood. While we didn’t bring our dogs with us on this trip I definitely would in the future! Small fenced in yard, and good neighborhood for walking. We were traveling to the Kentucky Horse Park daily and this was a great stay! Only 12 mins from the horse park. And only 15 mins from downtown Lexington

We traveled to Lexington to watch my daughter graduate from UK with her Doctorate. I wanted this time to feel special and her to feel recognized as well as pampered. Having this place be our landing spot was the pinnacle of that. The house uplifted our experience in every way possible. To start, we had late additions to our party- a 12 and 14 year old! The host was more than accommodating and the house had so much to do that the kids were thoroughly entertained. Foosball, chess, outside sporting games, and the record player! Oh my they loved playing records. The host provided a stocked kitchen so we could cook at “home”, the beds were super comfy, the decor was very “Lexington” which made the experience even better. We really enjoyed the space, quiet area and the closeness to everywhere we needed to be. My daughter stated that this celebration could not have been more perfect for her. As a dad, that truly makes my heart dance and I am ever so grateful that the host and this wonderful home played a part in making this happen for her. Thank you for the beautiful sweet life long memories. I highly recommend this home to anyone needing to be in the Lexington area. You will not be disappointed.

Cute, Cozy Home Away from Home!

The hostesses welcomed us into their cute, cozy home with outstanding hospitality!!! They were sooo thoughtful in sending positive well-wishes for our family member whom we were victims at UK Healthcare. The home is stocked with quality cookware and necessary supplies that were greatly appreciated!!! They provided some restaurant recommendations which were quite AMAZING!!!! Crank & Boom, Spaulding Bakery & Epping by Eastside come highly recommended!!!! We appreciated the quick and timely responses to our questions, including a personal phone call to make sure we had all the information needed to operate the streaming programs. The sunroom and backyard oasis are wonderful spaces for morning coffee and a backyard BBQ! We will definitely be planning to return for a staycation at this property!!!
