Strip District Studio - Convenient to all Pittsburgh has to offer
Enjoy our spacious studio apartment, surrounded by live plants and natural light. Relax by candle light in the large soaking tub. Prepare a nourishing meal in the beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with everything you may need. Our convenient location, at the intersection of Lawrenceville and the Strip District, allows you to experience everything Pittsburgh's two most happening neighborhoods have to offer.
The murphy bed is so comfortable and this little space has a huge feel! The high ceilings, and the adorable furnishings make it all feel like home. Adam is easy to work with and very receptive to questions. Can't wait to return.
We had a great stay for a couples weekend getaway in the city. The place was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The check in and check out process were very easy and the host was very responsive. We will stay again if we ever need a place to stay in the city.
Absolutely everything was wonderful, the space, comfy bed, great location, big bathroom, and equipped kitchen BUT I would suggest replacing the window next to the bed with a quality window with layered glass to reduce greatly the amount of noise from the street since the space is on a corner of a busy area. Fix the window and this would be a go to VRBO every time weâre in Pittsburgh!
Super cute, clean. Parking was easy & off street. Only downside was the entrance opens out to a (fairly busy) street; not the worst - but something to be mindful of if you have a small child or a dog who likes to run out of the door. Overall, I would stay here again!
Spacious, clean, bright & airy oversized studio, with a giant soaking tub that was the main draw for me. Off-street parking, good communication with owners, centrally located. Can't ask for more than that!
The location of this place was great. Right between Lawrenceville and the Strip District. You are able to walk to everything you need. The place was clean and cute and perfect for what we needed. Mornings are a bit bright and loud as there are lots of windows and it is on the corner of the 31st street bridge so traffic was a bit noisy in the mornings. Great stay and we would stay again.
Very large nice loft kind of rare in Pittsburgh. Great new bathroom with washing Machines.
Comfortable new stylish kitchen and table. Sofas also. I would add lamps since only overhead lights don't do justice to space at night. It can be a bit noisy as is in second floor.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay even with the quirkiness. Entry door could be frustrating and the kitchen is lacking in equipment.. The studio is very comfortable, love the layout and the rainfall shower is amazing. So if you are looking for a place close to Pitt and want a cool place to stay I suggest this little place.
The location of this property is wonderful with off street parking and over an adorable boutique. We have stayed in plenty of other properties over the years and this place had been done extremely well. Most air b and b type places have shoddy workmanship and strange quirks but not this one. Would highly recommend!!
The apartment is appointed with upgraded everything for the most part. Entry way has a lot of character but the entrance door is right at the bus stop so people can occasionally be crowding the space to get in/out. Located at end of strip and close to so many eateries. Host was easy to work with and communicated well with us. Couch was unique and the bed is a Murphy bed which was cool. A/C didnât seem to work too well but with windows open and fan on it stayed comfortable.
Communication was responsive as we were prepared by the owner before we ever arrived. Location worked for our needs and parking was the extra bonus. Not sure when but we will definitely come back!
We were in Pittsburgh dropping our freshman off at Pitt. The location was perfect for our needs. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops, which kept us out the car and more active. The place itself was nicely decorated and the kitchen looked like it belonged in a magazine. Check out was easy. First time staying in a rental where I didnât have to strip the beds and take out the trash. Iâm spoiled now!!
Moldy shower curtains, moldy washer and filthy dryer. No place to hang a towel.
Living room not as pictured. No arm chairs at top of stairs, one sofa has been swapped for an awkward trundle futon.
Was offered cheaper booking to leave VRBO.
Disappointed.
Great location and roomy. Stairway from street level entrance was shabby. I initially wondered if I had made a poor choice. Also, freezer had not been defrosted.
Great spot to hit all the key areas of Pittsburgh! The neighborhood may seem rougher but itâs really not - and so close to the best parts of the Strip District! Such a cute apartment and super helpful/kind owners :) We had a blast!!!
We loved our stay! Great location - walkable to Lawrenceville and the Strip District. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed and very spacious. Check-in was a breeze and our host was very responsive. I did find the neighborhood to be extremely noisy at night (between very loud car and truck traffic and pedestrians passing by in the early hours of the morning), but other than that, everything was perfect.

We choose this property because of it's convenient location between our favorite neighborhoods in Pittsburgh, Lawrenceville and The Strip District. We spent 5 years renovating the property which formerly housed the infamous 31st Street Pub into a home for our family.
A 5 min walk in either direction brings you to the heart of Pittsburgh's best shopping, dinning, coffee shops, breweries and more. A 10 min walk across the 31st bridge and you are in one of the best parks in Pittsburgh at Washington's Landing. Located on an Island in the middle Allegheny river, enjoy a walk through nature, surrounded by water, with some of the best views of downtown Pittsburgh from Herrâs Island Bridge. Three Rivers Heritage Trail also runs through the island.
