This property is also conveniently close to fishing charters, rental services for jet skis, kayaks, golf carts, and bicycles, dolphin and everglade tours, a movie theater, and yoga on the beach!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Excellent Home Away From Home

The service desk was welcoming and the room was top notch! Very clean! Conveniently situated to the elevators and walking distance to restaurants. The beach staff was very helpful as well. There were chairs and umbrellas in the room that we were able to use that made our trip to the beach cheaper and more private than the umbrellas you rent. The staff at Vacasa was always checking in and making sure our trip was going well!

Overall great room. Negatives were: 1) the toilet which needs replaced or repaired. Had to hold the lever and still sometimes wouldn’t fully flush. 2) needs a dehumidifier. Even with ac running, nothing dries and feels muggy. Could use a fan in the bedroom too. 3) no dishwasher and tiny fridge. 4) single ply toilet paper. Positives are cleanliness. The bed was nice with big king sized pillows. Towels were nice. View from balcony is spectacular. The entire property was clean and well kept, staff encounters were all great and front desk attendants all helpful if you need advice. Easy walk to the beach. Even though the pool is closed and the pool deck work is ongoing, the noise never woke me (in fact this is another positive - the place was very quiet. No slamming of doors in the morning like a typical hotel) the pool work was just unpleasant on the balcony while they are working.

You can stay in nicer places with a great view, better services for less money. I had ants, clogged toilet, no lights, flickering lights, only 1 wine glass, ice machine didn’t work, no staff to rectify any issues. I could go on and on.

Only good thing is the view!

Linens and bedding not fresh and pillow either. Blankets I felt weren’t freshly washed before our stas as they had an odor. Shower and sink backed up and my husband had to unclog both.

Fun vacation!

We chose this property for it's ocean view and location and were very happy with that! When we booked, the property was marketed as in a hotel/resort which is not the case. The hotel closed a few years ago (had to research online). The units are privately owned and rented out. Some include use of the beach chairs and maid service. Ours did not. There is an employee of the other owner who checks you in and sits at desk in the lobby. He leaves at 11 PM so not sure if the building is locked after that or any security. Vacasa should explain the situation to their renters. All we were told is that we were not allowed to ask hotel staff for anything and to call them if we needed anything. But no hotel staff were there since hotel is closed. It was all kind of confusing. Anyways, we had a great two weeks on Marco Island! The location is walking distance to wonderful restaurants and near the Marriott Resort. The beach has great shelling and sunsets!

Worst costumer service imaginable

The view, was lovely. The resort staff was friendly- but that is not what you get when you stay here. You cannot receive any help from the hotel staff- you’re instructed to call Vacasa. & GOOD LUCK a with that. We were told we would be able to get early check in. We called the day of- no one could help us, there was no one on site to talk to. We called again- they rudely and condescendingly spoke to us on the phone saying we had to wait until 4pm. We told them we were apart of a previous reservation with the hotel before it was sold to Vacasa, and there was wedding events taking place at 5pm that day. They wouldn’t even call the cleaning company to help communicate with us what the eta could be. We waited from 11am until 430pm. At the resort- and they still didn’t have the room ready. We called for a 6th time and they apologized and brought a key. If you stay here, enjoy the view- but not the service

Okay Stay

The location of the room was great. It was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. However, upon arrival, we discovered the pull out bed was broken and the carbon dioxide detector was beeping and out of battery. We tried getting a hold of management to resolve the issues and they still have yet to follow up, and it has been a week since we reached out and 4 days since we checked out. Also, unlike a traditional resort or hotel, modifications to the reservation have to be made within a limited timeframe. We tried removing a night off of our reservation prior to check in, but the strict cancellation policy would not allow it. Similarly they have a pretty strict check in and check out policy, and don't accommodate for early check in or late check out. For the price, because it no longer includes access to the resort's original Spa or room service features, next time I would probably consider looking at other places stays.

Great location and Views!

We really liked this property. EVERY staff member (including beach bar and beach chair staff) greeted us like we were a welcome guest and not a "Renter". The views are stunning and the unit was perfect for the 2 of us. Although the unit was clean, it is in need of some detailed work which I will share with them privately. The unit does not have coffee so make sure you pick up some pods before you arrive. I will absolutely book this again.

Quick visit

Room was clean and just as pictured. The view was absolutely beautiful! Only down side was the wall or door to the adjoins room was so thin you could hear the people next door talking clear as day and even hear them snoring.
