Our gorgeous, open concept condo encompasses the entire 3rd floor of the historic Inn, Hotel Stebbins. We call it our Executive Suite as it is furnished with all the high end amenities you would need and overlooks Lake Michigan and the downtown district of the beautiful, quaint, and super friendly Algoma. The most walkable town in America! Walking distance to our beautiful Boardwalk, beach, marina, winery, brewery, shopping, antique shops, art studios, bowling alley, Ahnapee River for kayaking, Ahnapee Trail for biking/running/hiking, foodie stops/eateries. Only 5 miles south of the Door County line - access to the peninsula for day trips without the drama of the high end price stay and congestion:)
We were in town for a wedding and this space worked perfectly for us. The town is very walkable, parking was easy and the space was just what we needed!
Great spot for checking out Door County. Lots of places in town to see and short drive to all the cool places for a day trip. Our place had tons of room for all kinds of people. We could have shared the space with 2 more couples!
We (6 ladies) visited Algoma and this was a great place to stay in historic building. Clean, comfortable, fully stocked with LOTS of space. Great location for hanging around town. Plenty of places to eat or get drinks. Very close to the beach. Friendly staff! We really enjoyed it
Loved our stay, we could not have asked for a better place. Charming hotel with all the amenities and more. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again in a heartbeat.
Friendly staff, large condo with a updated bathroom, had everything we needed.
We loved the town cute shops, bars and restaurants, beach and boardwalk.
We walked everywhere all weekend.
Highly recommended destination.
We have stayed at this property before - it was very good as usual. Steps are brutal carrying luggage - we knew this. Price was high for a two day stay - I know it was a holiday, but still pricey.
Executive Suite/condo was spacious, private/quiet, and the beds were comfortable. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, the grocery store, and the beach. Restaurant staff were very nice, and the game room was in good condition.
The third floor of the Hotel Stebbins was a great spot for our families exploration of Door county. Algoma is a great community and the location was great with the river and lake an easy walk. Property owner was very responsive to our questions. :-)
The Executive Suite at Hotel Stebbins was perfect for our Door County bike trip. Plenty of room for my 5 buddies and I. Clean. Well equipped kitchen. Great communication by owner. Quiet town but plenty of amenities to enjoy after our rides. Already thinking about coming back next year.
Space was large, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bonues were the shops and beautiful Lake Michigan in walking distance! We all agreed that we would stay there again!
We've stayed in the Executive Suite at least three times. You do need to navigate stairs, but well worth it if you're able to. Always clean, gorgeous, and well stocked with kitchen tools and toiletries. Location is perfect- walking distance to most everything in Algoma. The onsite bar and restaurant has amazing food and drinks- we have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Hotel Stebbins.
The apartment was very clean. Algoma is a small quaint town. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the winery & walks along the beach. It was a short drive to other town in Door county where we enjoyed shopping & cherry picking, bike riding. We would definitely rent this place again.
It was a girls getaway. We didnt know what to expect, but nothing prepared us for the charm and warm feel of this stay!!
HUGE bedrooms, a game room, 2 full bathrooms. Full kitchen, dining room and living room. And full laundry.
It was the perfect.
the unit was clean and well maintained the beds and pillows were perfect. The showers were great and parking was right outside. Check in and out was a breeze and communication was the best. The only drawback was it a little dark to work and do emails but I should not have been doing them on vacation anyway. I would stay there again without even thinking about it!!!!!
Condo was perfect for our needs and in the heart of everything. Super clean and well laid out. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. We only wish we had gone downstairs to the bar restaurant area. Sorry to have missed that. Next time!
We are a group of 6 women all over 65. We had plenty of room, good WiFi and a well supplied kitchen and bathroom. We played games with no worries about disturbing anyone. Be aware that it is on the third floor with no option to climbing stairs.
We had 7 adults and one teen. This suite was PERFECT for us. Kitchen had all the pots, pans, etc. Plenty of seating for our meals with the table and island. Bathrooms were nice as well as spacious. Decor was very cute and well put together. If anyone in your party has issues with stairs this isn't the place for you! Lots of stairs but our group was not effected by this. Window air units worked great also. Plenty of towels. We would highly recommend this to anyone and would stay again.
We enjoyed this unique rental property! It was great for our family of 4 and easily could have accommodated twice as many people. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and all the bedrooms. The living area was cozy for watching TV and the dining area was perfect for meals and playing games. The beds were very comfortable, too! We were concerned about the window air conditioning units (which can be seen in the listing photos), but they worked well and "climate control" was not an issue. We also had a wonderful dinner one evening at the hotel restaurant. Algoma and Crescent Beach were somewhat disappointing, but we were glad to be away from from Door County and able to drive up and back when we wanted. The grocery store a block away was very convenient. We took the scenic trolley tour in Egg Harbor, and highly recommend it! Some things to note: there is no elevator at Hotel Stebbins, so the Executive Suite is a 3rd floor walk-up. It's a dog-friendly building, which we didn't mind, but it was a bit unexpected. And if you're interested in playing disc golf at nearby Peterson Park, it's a tough course where we lost 2 discs (that we just purchased at Door Disc Golf in Fish Creek) in the thick, swampy brush.
