Charming historic loft close to restaurants, shopping and Arkansas river!
This property features large, open spaces in an historic building located on Main Street in downtown Buena Vista. Loft offers stocked kitchen and sleeps up to nine adults comfortably. Deck features grill and outdoor seating.
Loved the location! Downtown BV was easily accessible. We enjoyed walking to shops, restaurants, and the river. We had plenty of room with nine adults spending the night at one point (sleeper pads were comfortable). Overall a great place to stay.
About 7 friends and I stayed in the loft for our trip to BV and had the best time!! It is more spacious than the photos show!! I probably would not stay any later in the summer as there is no AC, but early spring/summer and later fall would be perfect. Right on Main Street and walking distance to so much. Our only complaint was that there was not much to cook with, no cooking sheets, no olive oil or anything. So if you are planning to cook I would bring your own items!
Wonderful accommodations, with historic charm right on Main Street. The beds were comfortable, two full bathrooms - with great showers and a location that can not be beat!
It was wonderful home base for hiking and rafting, with fun options to eat just outside the "front door".
We enjoyed being within walking distance of everything downtown. We enjoyed the second floor deck too with the views of the mountains and sunrise and sunset. It was a great place for a girlfriend hiking trip.
Very spacious unit (grandparents, parents, and 9 and 13 year old). We could walk to just about everything (all shops, restaurants on Main, park, skate park, pump track, hiking trails, river, and everything on South Main). Unit was very clean and our host was extremely responsive.
We enjoyed our stay here, and the location is phenomenal. The one thing I would mention is that there is no A/C, and it got very warm at night. But overall, it is a spacious and comfortable spot which our family enjoyed.
Melinda and her property were outstanding. Genuinely impossible to beat the location here. We were in town for some concerts, but the highlight of the entire trip may have been walking to the Arkansas to dip our toes in the water on a blistering hot morning - magnificent.Lots of great little shops/restaurants downstairs or across the street. The antique shop actually had fun old things in it, the art boutiques were filled with the work of talented creators, the food scene was really surprisingly robust, and my favorite may have been long table, the coffee shop connected to the hotel and consignment store. The family running the place were actually the people pulling the espresso shots, and chatting with their patrons. Ya simply just donât see that too often. Anyway, the property is just as advertised. After spending three nights here - If I had to find a gripe, itâs that the place can get stuffy. Yet the host provided several fans, which when combined with opening up the windows and getting air moving resolved it immediately so⊠can that even be a gripe? Champagne problems in my opinion, but it may not be ideal for people whoâve come to expect precision climate control. Iâll absolutely be back to spend a day flyfishing the Arkansas and trying the hot springs. Couldnât be happier with my choice. Thanks again!
Cool, funky, huge space in the middle of town. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Melinda was fabulous. We did not bring pets but what host have you ever heard of who will not only welcome your dog but also offer to babysit them if you canât take them with you on an adventure? Had a great time! Highly recommend.
I rented Melindaâs place for my adult children and their spouses. It was their first time in BV and we wanted them to be within walking distance to the Whipple Trail, Arkansas River, shopping, dining and my in-laws house. They loved it and embraced every opportunity to experience the magic of BV. Melinda was wonderful to work with. Her place is spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend it!
Melinda was amazing throughout our entire stay. Before we arrived, she got a few special treats for the kiddos. Very accommodating for our papillon. The loft was very quaint. We loved being right in town and having the ability to walk where you need to go. Wonderful family vacation!
This property is right down town. Was able to walk to restaurants. Over flow parking just at the end of block. Didnt have any issues at all. Would definitely stay there again.
This is a nicely renovated loft above a business on Main Street. Access is through the alley, and there is a single parking space there. However, there is a large public parking lot by the railroad tracks just down the alley. There are three nice bedrooms, all with queen size beds and one room has a twin, too. Very spacious place. Two of the bedrooms look out over the street. The loft is centrally located. We enjoyed walking to everything we did, including hiking over on Midway Hill, walking by the river, and hitting up the local coffee shops and restaurants. Great place, would definitely go back.
As a full-time resident of Buena Vista, I live only minutes from the property and am always available to answer your questions or address any issues you may have. Your stay is my priority!
Located on Main Street in downtown Buena Vista, the loft is close to many of the town's attraction. Several restaurants and boutiques, two parks and a splash pad for the kids, town lake and the Arkansas River are all within a ten-minute walk. A short drive and you'll find beautiful forests, bountiful fishing streams and lakes, the world-class Mount Princeton Hot Springs and Spa or the famous ghost town of St. Elmo. Winter guests will be ideally situated between Monarch Mountain Ski Area and Ski Cooper, either just a 45-minute drive. Almost anything the mountains have to offer can be found in Buena Vista, and your stay in the Main Street Loft allows you to be right in the middle of it all!
