We are centrally located with just a quick drive to attractions north and south, 10 miles to Vermont Law School, 15 miles to Woodstock and 20 miles to Killington Ski Area. Visiting colleges? Our house is centrally located and a great hub for visiting colleges. Experience rural VT still within driving distance of many colleges.
Crisp clean air, breathtaking views, four season rental, come and enjoy the peace and beauty.
Stayed with my family for a long weekend and skied nearby. 4 of us total with two teenagers. House was immaculate and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
Great spot to enjoy the nearby White River! Having two bathrooms was a huge asset. House was very clean. Nearby markets and farm stands allowed us to eat local all week.
The âboysâ had a great week. Everything was neat and clean. Very happy to each have their own room. They had everything they needed. One suggestion would be if there could be a small table beside the bed with a lamp. My husband said when he got up at night he couldnât see it was so dark.
We needed a local place for visiting with family. This was perfect for our get together. Weather caused us to change our plans, Host was easily accessible, flexible to our needs and a pleasure to work with, I would recommend this place and we will be using it again.
The pictures do not do this cabin justice, it is spotless, equipped with everything you could need and more and perfect. Melanie is an amazing hostess and we cannot wait to come back to Vermont and stay there again. Thanks so much Melanie :)
Overall we had great weekend and the property was perfect. Coming from Florida the mountain roads were perfect and it was very easy to get to. The beds were very comfortable, just wished we had a few more pillows but overall would definitely book this again. Thank you
Three sisters and two baths and three bedrooms was so comfortable and convenient! Super clean house. Melanie promptly answered all questions thru the VRBO app. Good location for all we wanted to do in Vermont!
We took a trip up to VT with our two kids for a ski getaway and stayed here for 3 nights. The location was easy to access and a direct 35 minute drive to Killington. The house was very clean and comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities to cook in the evening. It was a very nice and quiet location and perfect to come home to after a long day on the mountain! I would highly recommend
We really enjoyed the guest basket. The place was clean and coffee was provided, which was a blessing since we were tired from our trip. This was a perfect location for us since my son lives in Bethel. We could have used a lamp by the bedside to read by before going to bed. Bethel is a charming small town.
Wonderful home in the foothills. I recommend this house to anyone visiting the area. Our host, Melanie, left some VT treats for our welcome and the house is immaculate. It was just a short drive to Vermont Law School, the main reason for the visit, and close to other site seeing areas. This is a don't miss! Thank you for a memorable stay!
We stayed at Melanieâs property for a week in July. The house was perfect for three adults and one child. Very clean and tastefully decorated. The farm down the road had a farm store and the views from the field above the house were amazing! Melanie is an excellent host and brought us two dozen eggs from her chickens! We would definitely stay again.
This spot was just right for our eclipse trip. Even using the smart TV to catch the finals of the women's NCAA basketball tournament was easy. We filled the house and it was great to have 2 full-size bathrooms and easy parking. We had a couple of special needs and it was easy to connect with Melanie. She was great to work with and even left us some eggs from her chickens in the fridge! So nice!
We picked this house as base camp for our Vermont ski trip. We hit Okemo, Killington, Sugarbush and Stowe, all within less than an hours drive. Melanie was very easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly. This house was immaculately clean. It is on a well maintained road and was easy to find. 5 stars!!!
We had a wonderful experience! The house was warm and welcoming. It met my two major requirements⊠the beds were amazing and the water pressure was perfect. The kitchen was set up well with supplies. We cooked several meals at the house. My only caution is walking up the hill to the entrance. Our group had ladies aged 82, 81 and 75 and they did fine. But someone who might have some mobility issues could struggle. I would recommend this house. You will not be disappointed.đ
This was a really lovely property and Melanie was a fantastic host! She was quick to respond and very hopeful, and left us a kind welcome gift in the fridge. This location was about a 35 minute drive for us from Killington where we were skiing for the weekend, which wasnât bad for us at all. The house was spacious and had a very cozy vibe, we each got our own room and it was nice that there were two bathrooms. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to cook our dinners we planned out (pans, pots, can openers, salt, pepper, etc.). Would stay again!
We had a very comfortable stay. The property is in excellent condition and absolutely spotless. Even though it was freezing and snowing a lot during our stay, we were super warm and comfortable. The host is a great communicator and went above and beyond to make sure that she was in touch. They plowed the driveway, and opened up the bottom door to make it easier for us to enter the home in the deep snow. The only thing is that we were skiing at Killington, and it was a bit longer of a drive than we expected (mostly due to the heavy snow). Also, we have an electric car and didn't realize that the closest charging station for our car was 45 minutes away, which was inconvenient. Of course, neither of those points are a reflection of the property, we should have done a bit more research so that we weren't surprised. All in all, it was a great trip and excellent value for the money. Thank you!
There were six of us ranging from 14-70 years old. The house had everything we needed and the view from the top of the hill was beautiful. The only minor problem for us was the entrance as there were no steps or a door from where we parked. My 70-year-old Mom is not too steady on her feet, so two of us had to walk her up and down the wood chip covered side hill to the entrance. It didnât help that it rained all day Friday. That was the only downside, not exactly handicap accessible or accessible for those with even minor balance issues.
