This 512 sq. ft. cabin, with additional loft space is nestled in the heart of the Cherokee National Forest. This cabin is very private and sleeps up to 6 people. Sitting on the porch, you have tree house views of the surrounding woods. It is close to the Hiwassee river which has rafting and tubing as well as fishing. National Forest hiking trails are right across the road from the main entrance and horse friendly. A small corral for all the cabins is also available for up to six horses.
Sitting on the porch, you are surrounded by trees and it does feel like a treehouse. Thunderstorms made it even better. Slept better than I have in a long time. Would like to know the mattress because I woke up with no back pain. We had a problem with the A/C but Brian responded to message immediately. Fixed it very quickly. We will be going back.
Very quiet, calming space.Especially enjoyed the art and lamps. All the furniture is very comfortable. The morning light highlights everything. The hot is so relaxing, plus the cover above the hot tub is such a great idea.
The cabin was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. It was stocked with everything we needed and in a great location. The property is full of life-trees, moss, plants, skinks, owls-great place to take a walk on the trails they have if you have some down time or just enjoy the view from the balcony or hot tub! Thank you for your kind hospitality! We are hoping to come back and check out another cabin on the property!
The cabin and property are beautiful and they are making even more improvements. Was an easy and beautiful drive to the Cherohala Skyway which was the reason for the trip. The hot tub was very relaxing and clean. And the provided firewood for the fire pits was much appreciated.
We enjoyed all the art touches. Conveniently located and felt like we were the only people there.
The only drawback was access (stairs) But wouldn't keep us from booking again.
I definitely think that the place was better than the pictures, the only thing I had to complain about was the toilet and the shower would make a loud high pitched noise for a little bit. Besides that the cabin was very cozy and relaxing!
My Daughter, husband, and I came here to get away for the weekend and reboot. This was a wonderful place to do so. We enjoyed reading, playing games, watching a movie, making a fire in the fire pit, and the hot tub! Our hosts were wonderful and accommodating, we canât wait to come back!
This cabin is great. If you want to get away from the world and just relax ....this is the place. Its equipped well if you like to cook or grill and the hot tub is great!!!
The cabin was neat and clean and it had anything that yu could need. The decor was wonderful. Nola was a great host.
It is in a very pretty place in the woods. Being up high you felt like you were in the tree canopy like a bird!
We stayed at the cabin with four teenagers to celebrate a 13th birthday. The property the cabin sits on is beautiful! The cabin is clean and had everything we needed. It was a short drive to Webb Brothers to go tubing down the river! Brian told the boys where a cute little swimming spot was. Great hosts, and we hope to come back next year! This place would be really cool for a family reunion with the different cabins on the property.
I am so impressed with this property! The central cabin for guests to borrow movies or games from was amazing, Iâve rented a lot of cabins but have never seen this feature. The most organized movie library ever! Each cabin has a fire pit with chairs and wood. It isnât city living, expect some bugs and dirty cars but focus on what this couple has created in the middle of rural mountains. There is nothing like sitting in the hot tub and soaking in such natural beauty. Having family in the area, we will only be staying here whenever we visit.
We should have been told that there was no water before we arrived. That was really unfair to us when Brain and Nolia knew it before we got there. I thought that was unfair knowing we had kids girls at that. We had to use buckets of water to flush the toilet Iâll never return and I will tell all my friends and family. They should have told us thereâs no water I told them when I left home til the time I got there. That really hurt my spirit but God made it better. We end up leaving early and went to Wilderness Resort.
This cabin was better in person which is usually the opposite of what you expect from photos! It had everything we needed as far as towels, pots and pans, utensils, and more. Even the fridge was stocked with some condiments! I like that Brian greeted us when we arrived and took us to the property. He showed us how to use the hot tub and door lock. As can be seen from photos, there are a lot of stairs so if you have a hard time getting around keep that in mind. However, I liked the âtreehouseâ feel of the cabin so didnât mind the stairs at all. My favorite thing to do was sit on the porch in the mornings and evenings and listen to nature. It was so peaceful! We made a fire in the pit, I loved that wood was provided and a bucket for water to extinguish it. When it rained we would get a movie from the office and sit on the cozy couch to watch. The kids enjoyed climbing to the loft and also enjoyed playing cards that were available in the desk. They also loved sleeping in the bunk beds. We all used the hot tub every day, it was so nice to have! The area was remote but we had plenty of close things to do which we chose hiking and rafting the Hiwassee, both of which I highly recommend! We all loved this cabin, itâs coziness and uniqueness. We were all sad to have to leave. Book it, you wonât be disappointed!
Cabin was perfect for us. My buddies and I go to Tellico Plains every November to camp, but this year the weather was looking a little too cold to camp outside, so we decided to get a cabin. This was close enough to Bald River Falls, so we could do all the things we normally did on our trips.
Treetop paradise! We absolutely loved being here for our 7 year anniversary. We were looking for something different and we loved every minute we were there. Brian was helpful and responsive to all questions we had. We look forward to our next trip to Starr Mountain!
