House minutes from wineries, Spire, Lake Erie, GOTL
Feel right at home in this old-fashioned country farmhouse. This century home was lovingly built with high-beamed wood ceilings and antique details for a spacious yet comfortable feel. Beautifully decorated with a unique sense of character, the house is just minutes away from Downtown Geneva and only a short drive from Lake Erie. Bask in the warm sunshine of the living area as you sip your morning coffee!
Grandmas house was wonderful, very clean. Very homey. Host was very nice. The outside could use a little TLC but overall it was a great place to stay. We will definitely stay again.
We were in town for an event, so we did not get to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked to. It was perfect for our needs - thank you for your hospitality!
The house was beautifully-appointes, with all the comforts of home. Conveniently-located for Winery hopping and visits to GOTL, I think it's a great value and, quite honestly, one of the very nicest vacation rentals we've ever stayed in
The home was in a great location in Geneva. We were minutes from the Spire Institute and also minutes from the Lake!! The host was easy to communicate with and so hospitable! 3 roomy bedrooms and such a cute home overall!
This house was the perfect location for a volleyball tournament at SPIRE institute. Cheryl was a wonderful host and her house was beautiful. Everything was spotless and beautiful for our stay. Thank you Cheryl!
My friends and I chose to stay here for my 30th birthday. The house was immaculate, homey and Cheryl was very quick to respond to my questions. I defintely will be staying again. Thank you for everything.
We had a great stay while in town for a coworkers wedding! House was clean and the property matched the listing. We didnât cook, but plenty of space for the five of us who were in the home. Very close to town and we walked to get dinner and lunch. Cheryl provided clear and quick communication - this made me comfortable to know that if any issues did arise, I knew she would address immediately.
We were in town for wrestling at the Spire Institute. Without many close lodging options, this house worked perfectly for us. It was in a great location that allowed us to go back and forth. Positives: two bathrooms, four beds, AC throughout the house, TVs
in all bedrooms and living room, clean. Wishes: access to a washer and dryer at the house, more in the kitchen for cooking. Great host!
My husband and I met my aunt and uncle for a weekend visit. The house was very nice- clean and comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out and visiting Geneva-on-the-Lake. Plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from and a nice neighborhood to walk around to âget our steps inâ.
We wanted to do a mini staycation that wasnât too far from home to jump start our summer. This home was perfect. Cheryl got all the details right; beach towels, games, extra throw blankets, seasonings, coffee, etc. As a gardener I loved seeing she has a garden out back with a nice green tomato healthy and growing. There is no central air but air conditioning units are in each room and fans- we were comfortable. The location was close to the places we wanted to visit. Everything was clean. Check-in was flawless. No complaints. The only suggestion which isnât a negative note at all is maybe a support bar in the tub/shower as we had our elderly mother with us and getting in and out of the tub/shower is hard, BUT the upstairs bath does have a walk in shower she just preferred the downstairs because it was roomier. All in all we would return and recommend. We traveled with a family of 5 and we had plenty of room.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is in a great location, very clean and well taken care of. My friends and I stayed here for a girls winery trip weekend. If we return to the area we will definitely stay here again!
Cute amd homey. This was a return visit for us and we love it. Great location. Centrally located to Geneva on the lake and tons of wineries. Very clean. Would recommend it over again.
Great location- right in between Spire and the wineries and GOTL. The house nicely accommodated six guests. Havenât been in a rental with live plants - nice touch! I would caution any ârowdyâ groups as this is in the heart of an established residential area and wouldnât want to be disrespectful with too much noise. Cheryl is a great host.
