Cosy, tastefully decorated queen size bedroom with fresh white cotton linen, electric blankets, wool doona and plump pillows. We had a very comfortable stay. There were limited options for evening meals, but we would HIGHLY recommend The Royal Oak Hotel nearby, and the Coonawarra Wine Trail Walk. In the lovely cottage we would suggest instructions be provided for operating the convection microwave, and for how to clean the fireplace, as I was not happy to leave the wood and ash behind. We found the little garden beautiful and the smell of the jasmine an absolute delight. It was a most comfortable and relaxing few days. Thank you Jen.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Penola is a beautiful village and great base for exploring the region. And Sarah's Cottage is a lovingly preserved part of its history, artfully presented. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door and see a vase of flowers freshly picked from the garden.
