Close to South Haven beaches, shopping and restaurants. Nearby inland lakes, wineries, breweries and art galleries. Walking distance to Silver and Saddle Lakes and a public boat launch a mile away if you have your own watercraft.
The cabin in on a very shaded corner lot with old huge pine trees surrounding the bad yard! It has charm. Neighbors were very quiet. Nice fire pit.It was very clean with all the dishes/nice pans you need.
House was as pictured. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of pots/utensils/dishes. Host replied to our messages/calls promptly. Would be great for a family of four.
Nice rental, owner was very responsive. Backstairs needs a railing to make it safer for older as it is steep. Nice neighborhood. No access to local lake though that we saw. Very close to the Kal-Haven trail which was a great bicycle ride. Spent 2 days riding on the trail. Also went into Saugatuck for some shopping.

Wouldn't stay again
We reserved the house for 3 nights , but only stayed 2. The house was rundown, and not as described. You had to lock the patio door with a board and the back door with a 2x4 for security. The shower was only a hand held shower piece. And their was barely any water pressure.
Close to all the blueberry farms. Nice drive to South Haven. My pet was very comfortable there.
Only double bed and bunk beds
Bedding clean and cozy.
Bath towels and one hand towel provided. No dish towels.
Only hand held in shower.
Poor lighting in all but kitchen.
We stayed here too be close to South Haven, I was happy we found a pet friendly place. I think the$100 pet cleaning fee and the $150 regular cleaning fee is really way to much. There was chunks of chocolate and something white and sticky on one of the couch pillows from whomever stayed before us. The property manager said he would talk to cleaning crew but offered nothing to compensate. I clean residential and commercial buildings as my profession. It could have been cleaner.
I thought I knew what we were getting when we signed up and understood when looking at the pictures that the place was dated but you just don't know till you know. When we first got there the place was very humid and could smell the dampness in the carpet which had a big wet spot. Not sure from what but it eventually dried after turning on portable ac unit. The water smelled heavily of iron. I was told it was safe to drink but I couldn't. If I would have known we would have brought much more bottled water. To no fault of the owner the tracks on Phoenix were closed down some had to take a 15/20min detour.
Not trying to complain, it certainly wasn't awful, I just wish I had known more beforehand so I could plan accordingly.
The property manager I spoke to seemed very nice and said he would be making more upgrades/fixes to the property.
Nice little neighborhood
