The Cabana is a private cottage with more amenities than a 5 star hotel! Enjoy your own private swimming pool and spa and a custom pool table just to name a few. A one bedroom, one bath private guesthouse with a fully stocked kitchen decorated in chic brown and blue. Inside the entertainment begins with a custom made pool table, large screen TV, DVD/VCR player, movies and games. Wireless internet. A wall of French doors leads to your own private oasis. A relaxing hot tub waterfalls into a cool sparkling swimming pool. Outdoor charcoal grill and patio dining is perfect for your outdoor enjoyment. You can enjoy birds, squirrels, and an abundance of deer that meander onto the 3 acres. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and escape to the Cabana Guesthouse where you can lose yourself in the serenity of the surroundings with 100 year old oak trees. Need to bring your pet?: The Cabana guesthouse is a pet friendly property! Weight limit is 30 pounds. Over 30 pounds is an additional charge with owner approval. The Cabana is centrally located which is great for day trips. Only about 45 minutes to San Marcos for Outlet shopping or New Braunfels for a waterpark. One hour from Austin, San Antonio or Victoria and 2 hours from Houston. Great location for day trips if you are traveling from out of state or out of the country and want to explore!

Great Mini Vacay at the Cabana!

We had a great mini vacay at the Cabana! Natalie is a gracious host; she is always available via phone or text to answer any questions. The Cabana has all of the comforts of home, and then some. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and ample snacks upon arrival. The grounds are gorgeous, with enormous beautiful oak trees, flowers and greenery in abundance. We had our own private oasis out at the immaculate pool and spa! Also enjoyed hanging out on the covered back patio overlooking the pool. Thanks very much, Natalie!!! We will definitely return to this gem in the quaint and interesting town of Gonzales.

Simply amazing

Though extremely short, our stay was perfect. We signed up for the 2025 Texas Independence Relay and needed a place to stay the night before the start. We were lucky to find this little gem not far away from the heart of the event. Beautiful property, thoughtfully decorated, spacious but cozy, and an incredible outdoor area with hot tub and pool! We got some much needed rest after a long and busy day and the hot tub was just what we needed to have a restful night’s sleep. Host was very attentive and left us some great treats as a welcoming gift. One of my best experiences in booking and renting short-stay properties. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again if we come back to Gonzales next year! Thank you!

Hospitality the size of Texas

The communication was excellent. Natalie responded very promptly and professionally. The space was smartly decorated and very clean…the pool was as clean as I keep my own…excellent! The extra touches were very nice too…fresh cut flowers, bottle of local wine, a box of snacks which pairs nicely…all show the effort the host is making. We also enjoyed the Primo water fill station and the nicely supplied kitchen. We cooked most every meal and were not for want on pots and pans or dishes. Finally, the host obviously lives next door, but we never saw them. We were given all of our privacy without the typical rundown we have often received when the host is on site. We had an absolutely perfect stay and we look forward to visiting Gonzales next year. Thank you!

Beautiful cabana in a lovely historic neighborhood

Wonderful in every way! Fresh and well appointed cabana. Fenced in pool area and well landscaped property. Lighting inside and out was good and we felt safe. The historic homes in the neighborhood and close distance to downtown made for great walking.

Could not have had a better time

This place was perfect for us. We used it as a home base to visit a number of the surrounding towns and Painted Churches. It was awesome. The Cabana had everything we needed before and after a long day on the road.

Happy deer house!

Simple and perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves. The deer was such a treat to watch. They were so happy and playful...and so many. This is now our get-a-way....we'll be back.

End of summer family getaway.

Our stay at the Cabana was wonderful! Our kids, ages 12 and 16, really enjoyed the swimming pool. The cabana was clean and welcoming. Nicely located, we saw deer in the back field the day we arrived. 😊 Pool table was so much fun! We had a great time! 😁

Been here for many years now

I asked my son what he wanted for his birthday and he choose this place that we know well, they always welcome us, and the pups , this weekend was my son’s birthday and Natalie like always was on point to welcome him the best way, this year we only took one of the pups since the other one passed away in June, we have great memories there the four of us, since we see vacations with our pups and some places they don’t accept them, we will keep us in great times at this place because we love it there.

Best Get Away

We haven't been able to take a family vacation for about almost two years with our busy work schedules, with that said we decided to finally pull away from our busy life and needed time to recharge before school started for our son. We had the BEST time just the three of us at this beautiful property! When we walked in the owners had this wonderful gift basket so very thoughtful along with fully stocked coffee which we all loved to drink on the porch in the morning and evening time. At night was my favorite for there were thousands of fire-flies everywhere that light up the night. It was the most relaxing and enjoyable time. There is a HEB and Walmart that is down the road from the home and cute little older town with shops to go to. Also about a 30 min. drive to san marcus outlet. which we did venture out to one morning. I would have to say one of my favorite places we stayed at in a very long time which was much needed for our little family. It was very private, and the owners never bothered us and allowed our privacy which was exactly what we wanted! We will def. come back! Wonderful place and wonderful people! Thank you!

Perfect getaway!

Absolutely lovely! The cabana is so charming and provides you with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities are the perfect touch. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. You can tell they take pride and great care of their property and it shows! While the cabana is comfortable and welcoming, the pool and landscaping are perfection. We enjoyed a quiet and tranquil weekend and we can’t wait to come back again!

Wonderful place to stay

The house was so inviting and relaxing. Loved the pool and the pool table. Kitchen had everything we needed. Will definitely come back as it seemed like we were on a tropical island within Texas! The plants and decor were great.

Cabana Retreat

My husband and I stayed at the cabana pool house for our anniversary. It was absolutely perfect! We were greeted with flowers and a goody basket upon arrival. The house and pool/hot tub were clean and private. Thank you for an amazing get-a-way!
