We only used this property as a base camp while visiting family But we would absolutely come back! The home was cozy and well stocked. The views of the lake were stunning. It is an older cottage and the ceilings are low in some areas. My 6’2 son was pretty close to the ceiling in the kitchen and doorways in a few spots. Owner was easy to work with and clear instructions were given. The area was quiet and streets were nice to walk.

Bryon was nice through his communications with me. His responses were prompt and considerate. I stopped being the point person for our stay and Bryon was courteous and helpful to my replacement. We enjoyed meals around the kitchen table which was reminiscent of our childhood cottage. The kitchen was well stocked. The living area was open and friendly. The loft was large and suited the kids just right. We could see the lake on the deck and enjoyed the red sunset through the trees. The beachfront was perfect. It was sandy and the water was shallow. The dock was sturdy and long and had steps at the end of it. The property was well maintained with beautiful flowers and lush green grass. Thank you Bryon for facilitating a wonderful vacation. To quote one of the children, “This is the best vacation ever!”

Wonderful family vacation!

This is a beautiful property and Bryon was very helpful and communicative. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, swimming and got a lot of use out of the kayaks and paddle boards. The cottage had everything we needed and fit all of us very comfortably (family of 7). Will definitely look into booking again.

Nice family retreat.

Owners were very responsive. The VRBO was clean and well stocked. We did not need anything. Nice fire ring and beach access. Lots of outdoor seating and the chairs for fire ring a much appreciated bonus. Plenty of space to sleep, large yard for kids to play and family to gather. We will definitely keep them in mind next time we need a place.
