This property was perfect for our weekend of watching baseball and touring the city. This was a comfortable and cute basement space that was modern and clean. It had all of the perfect touches of staying in a hotel and all of the perfect parts of not. Lots of space and when we come back to Boston we will try to stay here again!
Beautiful, modern, and very clean. Profile photo not the location of the home. Shower head is amazing but you can't lather/wash your body as the soap immediately runs down the drain. Plenty of towels but no wash clothes.
Great location.
My husband and I stayed here for a few days on vacation. The first picture is a little misleading, since the house is actually in more of a suburban neighborhood instead of a historic one, but the area was still fairly nice, and we could easily take the bus into Boston or commuter train up to Salem. The private entrance/driveway was convenient. The rental itself is in a basement but was still spacious, clean, private, and looked to be recently renovated. It was refreshing to come back to the home after a long day of sightseeing and be able to relax and sleep on a very comfortable mattress. Also, the owner was very easy to reach with any questions and even let us check in a little early! Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Everett.
Pros: UBER easy to downtown or Fenway - Great local restaurant walking distance: Fuentes Kitchen
Private parking spot - Shower (hand-held) is nice
Cons: Parking is up steep hill - Location is remodeled basement (dark) - cat (either box or spray) smell in closets - Pillows flat
Everyone's level of "clean" is different but I felt it wasn't up to "my" standards. We had booked 4 nights but only stayed 2.
Cute apartment in a suburban neighborhood. Plenty of amenities close by. Short drive to Boston. Private parking was a nice option since itâs so hard to find parking. The apartment was clean however itâs a quirky odd setup. The front door lock was a little confusing and required an app be downloaded to my phone to gain access to the apartment. No WiFi internet for the first two days. Shower was a little confusing and had to be turned off to activate the handheld wand and then turned back on. The bed is VERY low to the floor and hard. We frequently travel and use home rentals but this was not one of our favorites.
Great little apartment.
But: It was weird there where no sink in the kitchen, we couldn't clean the dishes and we were there for several days.
The whole floor was covered in what mostly resembled soap. The floor was tiled, so calling it slippery would be an understatement. One of us almost fell twice in the bathroom. We had to use a towel and wipe the entire floorof the whole apparmenbefore we could walk around without shoes.
The upstairs neighbour has a dog that we could clearly hear and we could hear their conversations - so at least bear that in mind if you are considering the place.
Other than that it was close to the city but not so close that you were In the middle of it all.
Parking was great.
This was a basement apartment and met our needs. I somehow missed the fact that there was no kitchen sink. We just rinsed our coffee mugs out in the bathroom sink so that worked out ok.
The bed was fine and we slept well. The pillows were very flat though. The AC unit worked well which was good given the high temps we had while there. We made use of the clothes steamer and it worked perfect.
The couch has seen better days. It has several tears in it that were covered up with a blanket. No big deal as we didnât really spend much time there. I appreciated the full length mirror and the apartment was clean. Another review mentioned a smell. There is an odor but I think it is just age as the home is older and itâs a basement apartment. It was not offensive or distracting. It was great to have off street parking.
There is a really good restaurant nearby called the Chelsea Station. Their chicken Parmesan and chicken cordon blue was excellent.
Overall it met our needs and we would probably stay again.
This stay was very clean, all linens and towels were fresh and nice smelling, easy lock entry with phone, comfortable bed, tv was a little finicky but overall this was a great place. Conveniently located too and nice private parking spot.
My wife and I stayed here and it was really nice. The spot was perfect for checking out Boston while staying outside of the city. The specific area wasnât as nice as we would have liked, but it was still very safe and secure. Also the ceilings are a bit low. Which shouldnât be a problem for most people, but Iâm 6â4, so I did need to duck at a few places. All in all though, it was a great stay.
The picture on vrbo of the location's exterior was nothing lime the location. We thought we would be in a historic neighborhood. The interior pictures matched perfectly. Itwas a fine stay.
