Set on a 1-acre lot, it’s ideally located between Crossville and Cookeville, with nearby golf courses like Cumberland Cove and Bear Trace. Enjoy a convenient commute to Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga. Perfect for exploring or relocating to Middle and East TN, this home offers a great base to experience the best of the beautiful state.

The Space:
The space is open and contemporary inside with a living room with couch and comfy recliners, fireplace and big flat screen TV with Roku. The kitchen is well equipped, with a gas stove for those who love to cook. There is a full bath on the main level and a bonus room in the back. The spiral staircase leads upstairs to the large, open loft king suite with a private bath.

Guest Access:
Plenty of parking at this property in the paved driveway parking area. There is no public transportation, only a local taxi and limited Uber.

Guest have access to the entire apartment.
No smoking is allowed. (Smoking Violation fee is $350)

There is no public transportation in Monterey. There is a local taxi service and very limited Uber.

Relax on the large front porch, surrounded by ornamental gardens and fruit trees, creating a peaceful outdoor retreat. The property is conveniently located across the street from a golf course, and offers easy access to Fairfield Glade, Bear Trace, Lake Tansi, and other scenic spots in the area.

Important Information:

ID and Verification: To comply with legal and security requirements, you may be asked to provide a government-issued photo ID, verify your contact information, and provide a valid credit card matching your ID for verification. Depending on our screening results, additional credit card verification may be required. A security deposit may be needed (excluding Airbnb guests).

Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 pets on the property, subject to a non-refundable $100 pet cleaning fee per stay.

Guest Support: Our team is available daily from 7 AM to 10 PM CT to assist with any questions.

Sleeping Capacity: The home accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. All guests over 2 years old must be listed on the reservation. Unlisted guests will incur a fee of $50 per person, per night.

Check-In/Check-Out:

Standard Check-In: 3 PM
Early Check-In: Requests before 11 AM are subject to availability and will incur a 50% nightly rate fee.
Standard Check-Out: 11 AM
Late Check-Out: Subject to availability with fees as follows:
50% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 11 AM
75% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 1 PM
100% of the nightly rate for check-outs after 3 PM
A minimum fee of $100 applies, whichever is higher.

Supplies: Basic essential starter kits are provided. For longer stays or additional needs, please plan accordingly.

Smoking Policy: A $350 fee will be charged for smoking inside the property, including cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana.

Weekend getaway

The house was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well enough equipped for our cooking needs. Unfortunately the weather was not super dry so we couldn't use the grill as we planned. Neither of us were crazy about the sprial staircase. However we put up with it since we wanted to sleep upstairs in the king bed. Overall it was a wonderful house and we will stay again when we are in the area.

We were here for our granddaughters birthday! We had a great time, although too short! Accommodations were comfortable and pleasant! We have stayed at this property before and will stay again!

Very quiet peaceful place to stay!

Nice size place to stay I would say more like sleeps 4-5 people comfortably. Loft bedroom is not private but very spacious very clean loved that there was 3 toilets. I would definitely recommend for family of 5 with older kids . Thanks for a great stay

Our stay

I did let the property manager know about the cleaning needed to be a little better. Other wise the house was just as expected. Since there was just 2 of us we did not even use the bedroom upstairs. No need too.

Pros and cons

Pros- The front porch and how it wrapped around. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings, watching fireflies and listening to the frogs and waterfowl that the neighbors across the Street have. The furniture in the living room was comfortable. It had a nice kitchen. It was located in a nice quiet area and has a large yard that is well kept. Cons- the towels throughout the house were very old, mismatched and scratchy. A few things were broken, so I called the rental agency so I wouldn’t be blamed for them. All would would be rather easy fixes. I hope they take care of them for the next guests. The bbq grill advertised was a griddle instead of racks over flame. Soap dispensers were almost empty. The house was not very clean when we arrived. We had to pay extra for our dog, yet we found globs of dog hair in the living room. It was a cute little house, but I would not choose to stay here again unless these things were resolved.

Okay Stay

Overall the property itself was mostly as listed. The gas was out in the grill so we were not able to use that and had planned meals around being able to grill. The footboard on the downstairs bed had exposed sharp edges where a cover piece had been missing and one of our party actually cut her leg just walking by bc it wasn’t visable that it was broken. The back door was off its track upon arrival. The silverware was limited. After booking we had to fill out a questionnaire and add emails and such for every person which was a little odd. The site also stated a 250 deposit would may be held which was fine. When the hold was placed it was actually a 500 hold. I reached out to the owner and they told me it was based on a screening and there was nothing they could do. The hold was higher than the amount of our whole stay. It was also on hold for a week prior to check in. I have a high customer rating and never had issues on any vrbo stays prior so I was shocked to see such a high hold especially it being double what was site listed.

Not cleaned, no linens, no help

We arrived with 3 children and a dog at 10 pm to dirty, unmade beds and the property smelling like dogs. I immediately called the rental agency to be told there was nothing they could do due to the late hour. I eventually suggested that I go to Walmart for some clean sheets, since none were to be found in the house. I was told I would be reimbursed for the linens with my receipt, not charged for the night, and refunded the cleaning fee. That was a month ago and several messages/ emails with no reply or refund. This was a really bad experience! If we get our reimbursement, I will be glad to report that things worked out, but at of now we are still out all the fees and over $120 in linens that were left at the property. Awaiting a response!
