You will enjoy the openness of the kitchen, dining and living room for entertaining. The back entry is a great place for kids or just a quiet place for coffee. The back yard has plenty of room for games and a bonfire to relax around at the end of the day. Bedrooms are comfortable and quiet, great for that afternoon nap. Neighborhood is quiet with little traffic. Enjoy a 10 minute walk through Harrisville State Park to Lake Huron for a fantastic sunrise or just a day at the beach.
We loved staying at the property. It had everything that we needed. The host was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable! Hope to visit here again very soon
Hi! We enjoyed staying in your home. Everything was there that we would have needed to have a wonderful time. The home was well stocked with everything that a couple or family would need. The state park was so close and we enjoyed going to visit it. It is a very clean place to stay. The information about the area was very helpful. This was our first time staying in a home and it was very enjoyable. Thank you.
We really enjoyed staying at this home and itâs a great choice for the area! The house was immaculately cleaned and the kitchen was well equipped. The fenced backyard was wonderful for letting our dog run around. Our host was also very responsive with our questions.
Very cute home! The owners provided all the towels, cooking utensils, and everything we could have needed. A nice big back yard for our dog. We would definitely stay here again!
We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The state park beach is only a short walk away. Our pups loved the big fenced in back yard. Would definitely stay again.
Highly recommend this property! The house is cozy, spacious, and has a beautiful yard for plenty of outdoor fun. Being located right across from a state park, the beach is just a short walking distance away. This place seriously has it all!
This property was perfect for my husband and me. We had a family reunion at Harrisville State Park and the location was perfect for us. It was very comfortable and clean. Thank you David for a great weekend!!
This was a terrific property for a short to mid-term stay. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, everything worked well, quiet street, and the best - central air and a new looking washer/dryer which all worked great. With one full bath it was tight for showers, but the half bath was a nice plus.
The house was exactly as advertised. We had tons of room and lots of places to recline after a long day of driving viewing the fall colors!
The neighborhood was very quiet.
We appreciated the cleanliness of the property. We especially liked the keypad entry so we didnât have to worry about losing a key! Completely happy with our stay.
The cabin is so cozy, clean, and exactly what I needed! Host is great and communicative and made check-in and checkout a breeze! Everything went seamlessly and I can't wait to come back! The state park is a nice walk, or super short drive with cool rocks and really nice trails. I had a couple of friends come out and stay a couple of nights and they absolutely adored the cabin and location as well. I. Super grateful to the host for sharing this amazing little place!
We were looking for a place close to my in-laws that we could bring our 2 small dogs. While the furniture was dated it was clean! I am a house cleaner so this is always important to me.
Location and cleanliness A+!
Very clean house with a big backyard.
Interior painted bright tropical colors. Makes you feel like you're in a beach house in Florida. Would definitely stay here again!
Thank you David đ
Traveled across the US w my husband and pups to a family reunion in Oscoda. We needed accommodations for our pups during the stay and wanted to assure a nice big fenced back yard for them and it was perfect. The house was very clean and accommodating. Make sure you bring your own coffee, there is a coffee maker (not a Kurig). There is a nice coffee shop in town (Alcona Coffee I think) that can grind a bag for you if you forget. The bedrooms are very nice and big/spacious. And the living space is large and accommodating for a gathering. This is a great place in a quiet little neighborhood.
This house is located on a quiet street just outside the town of Harrisville, Just a short walk down the street and through Harrisville State Park will put you on the beach of Lake Huron. There are walk paths in and around the park as well as one leading you quaint downtown Harrisville. The park offers picnic and play areas with all the modern facilities. For the rustic folks you can travel about 25 miles north to Negwegon State Park for over two miles of undisturbed beaches. Harrisville offers its own harbor and a beautiful boat launch on the north side of town. The kids will have a brand new play area to enjoy which is located near the state boat launch and harbor. If you're a beach goer you wont be disappointed, there are wonderful beaches, including Harrisville, Oscoda, Tawas City to the south Negwegon and Black River to the north. Its a rock pickers treasure trove. If you are into birding you will find many species in Harrisville State Park http://www.us23heritageroute.org/location.asp?ait=av&aid=4974 or if its Monarch Butterflies you wont be disappointed https://www.harrisvillenatureclub.com/monarch-butterfly.html If you like day trips there are plenty of beautiful areas to discover up and down the coast so come experience all that the east side has to offer and at the end of the day you can come home, prepare a meal and enjoy sitting next to a bonfire in the back yard.
