Walk to Downtown Cincinnati and Mainstrasse Village!!
Stay at the historic Clayton-Bullock House and take in everything that Covington and Cincinnati have to offer! Enjoy a 10 minute walk to Downtown Cincinnati, Smale Riverfront Park, Mainstrasse Village shops and restaurants, Braxton Brewery, and a 20-minute walk to Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown stadium! It's also just a short drive to Findlay Market, Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Museum Center, Newport Aquarium, Heritage Bank Arena, Riverbend Music Center, Ark Encounter, and the Over-the-Rhine brewery district!
Came to Cincinnati to celebrate my daughters 21st. Had a great time at this house. The bed was so comfortable and the place fit our needs perfectly. Cheap Uber ride to anywhere we wanted to go in downtown or Newport. Highly recommend.
The apartment is clean and super conveniently located. An easy walk to Paycor, Great American, and the riverfront. The host was responsive and helpful.
The only thing I would note is that if you like it dark when you sleep, bring an eyemask. There are some pretty bright yard lights right outside the back bedroom.
Great location and a. Cozy stay all my family and I could ask for while in town for the Bengals game! My only gripe and it wasn't a big deal, bc I didn't see it bc i booked in a hurry, was a hot tub was listed but I talked to him about it and he was fixing it for other viewers
Convenient location and safe neighborhood. Everything was clean and comfortable. Just a quick weekend trip with the family. Word of warning, the apartment is on the second floor, which you access from the outside. I did not fully understand that from the listing. Was not a problem for us, but it could be for older travelers or a family with small children with lots of gear to haul up and down. The backyard/patio/outdoor space to hangout in was missed. While yes technically available, it was not someplace we felt comfortable hanging out. It was pretty much a mess (broken chairs, trash from residents, piles of tree branches, broken fence) while I do not fully blame the owner, it was a neglected area that effected our full enjoyment of the property.
The apartment was a nice stay. Great location for Covington and Cincinnati. Very clean with everything you need. Their were a couple downsides, but none were too distracting. Parking is a a daily gamble. Rarely got front door, mostly half a block to a block away. No big deal. Their are tenets downstairs and the house is old and most could be heard from below. Another no big deal and understandable. I guess the biggest deal was on me being a senior citizen. The stairs and steps were a minor struggle that was painful by the fourth day. But none of that would stop me from renting there again or recommending to friends and family. Overall, it was delightful!!
Chrisâs apt is in a very safe quiet neighborhood within walking distance to multiple little shops, restaurants, bars , Covington yard, frosrhuas, Molly Malones, Mainstrasse and a Krogerâs !!! Chris is very easy and responsive to communicate with, check in and out was a breeze. We had the upstairs apartment, it does have stairs to walk up but an easy walk up - he has 2, the other one is a downstairs apt, no stairs.
The apt was well stocked with extra paper towels, toilet paper, laundry and dish detergent, etc. the apartment is very nicely furnished with spacious rooms !!!! We will def be back !!!!
This property is ideally situated in a great neighborhood. We're walkers, so we didn't have to use our vehicle at all while we visited. That includes walking over the bridge to Great American Ballpark and downtown Cincy. The property is near several restaurants, a microbrewery, local tavern, coffee shops, and other neighborhood gems we didn't have time to investigate.
Chris was wonderful in communicating with me prior to our visit. Checking in and using the lockbox to gain access to the second-floor accommodations was a breeze!
I'm a college professor and a single parent of a teenage boy. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and spending time with my son and my dog, Max. I look forward to hosting your family!
You'll love being within walking distance to everything! There is shopping, restaurants, parks, breweries, museums, and plenty of family friendly activities such as zoos, aquariums, theme parks, and the Ark Encounter! And of course, it's just a short walk to Great American Ballpark, Paul Brown Stadium, and the FC Soccer Stadium!
If you are a history nerd like me, then you'll love the Licking Riverside historic district! The houses here date back as early as 1815 and there are beautiful historic mansions along Riverside Drive! Ask me about guided walking tours!
