Serene Leatherbark 4 BR condo, mins walk to slopes
Enjoy the comforts of home in this newly furnished ski condo, which can comfortably accomodate 11 people with everyone in a bedroom. The perfect place to come back to after a day on the slopes. Free parking with easy access to the condo. Conveniently located minutes from the village, slopes, Split Rock pool, and Wildcat Provisions. While everything is in walking distance, a bus stop for Snowshoe Mountain is located at the parking lot entrance. Fully stocked kitchen.
Such a cute place within walking distance to the slopes. Parking was easy, and the location was perfect. It was a wonderful, clean place to stay with plenty of room for a large family. The host communicated effectively.
Enough room for several couples and no longer than a 1/4 mile walk to a side entrance of upper flume, very walkable even in ski boots. Would stay here again with a group, had a great NYE! Easy in and out as well and the place is stocked with the essentials for several days. Travis also was quick to communicate and provided clear instructions/info for the stay.
Very clean and well appointed condo located a very short walk from the lifts and Village. The kitchen was well equipped and check-in instructions could not have been more clear. We will be back.
Thank you!
We booked a family Christmas ski trip for 7 and had a wonderful experience!
Excellent communication with easy check-in/check-out.
A 5 minute walk to the slopes, shops, and restaurants.
A nearby market made everything convenient
It was everything we could ask for!!
Thank you for helping make wonderful Christmas memories!!
This home is beautifully furnished with comfortable beds, bedding, and cozy blankets. The ac units kept it comfortably cool and the windows keep the home bright and airy. The large sectional was plenty of space to lounge for our group of 9. The home seems updated and is close to the village. The only downside was a lack of an attached balcony but there is a large green space behind the complex we could bring camping chairs out to enjoy the good weather. There was limited toilet paper and paper towels, so bring some extras with you. There is a spiral staircase that wouldnât be great for young kids or elderly guests but was fine for us. We had a great time! Thanks for sharing your home with us.
I was happy with the unit and the communication was excellent. You do have a short walk to the slopes, which could be difficult in ski boots, there is a bus stop very close.
The home is great for being outside and skiing but may need a little more for staying in and entertaining.
The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are small. The angle of the roof makes the ceilings in each room really tight. I am around 6 ft and hit my head on the ceiling each time I used the rest room. The upstairs shower needs some work also, the door wonât shut and itâs pretty tight shower.
If you have issues climbing stairs the spiral staircase may be difficult.
We kept all the windows open and the heat off but still got warm upstairs, although it wasnât winter temperatures outside either. The threshold between the upstairs bathroom and bedroom needs some work also, the top of nails needs to be hammered in. The other upstairs bedroom is really tiny, great for kids but not teenagers. It was stocked with paper towels, toilet paper and the kitchen was sufficient for cooking.
Overall it just needs some TLC and updating.
This place packs a big punch for its size. 8 of us stayed comfortably (kids on bunk beds) and it is an easy walk to the village and slopes. It was clean and the hosts were great and responsive.
