Gorgeous mountain views, a private hot tub, an open layout and room for the whole group in four spacious bedrooms – what’s not to love in this modern-mountain home in western North Carolina? Start the day with a cup of coffee on the large deck, taking in that view.

When you get hungry, head inside to make breakfast. Light fills the living space, thanks to the sliding glass doors and plentiful windows. The kitchen offers acres of granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all the gadgets you need to whip up a feast. When it’s time to eat, the adjacent table for six and six barstools around the kitchen island provide ample seating, or step back outside to dine alfresco on the deck.

Head out to explore after breakfast. You’re only around 10 miles from the southern border of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cataloochee Ski Area is just 11 miles to the west. But make sure to save plenty of time to enjoy your home – the hot tub on the lower deck is the perfect place to catch the sunset, then head back upstairs to start dinner prep on the gas grill. Spend the evening under the stars, enjoying the fire table on the deck, or get cozy around the gas fireplace while you stream your favorite shows. There’s another living space downstairs, complete with a TV, comfy couch, pool table, and kitchenette, so you won’t even have to come upstairs for snacks. Each of the four bedrooms features a TV, and the downstairs bedroom also has couch seating. Mountain memories are waiting to be made at this gorgeous home – the only thing missing is you.

We stayed here with some friends and it was amazing! The house was beautiful and spacious for all of us! We would definitely stay here again!

Big, Comfy and Inviting

I loved the space. We stayed for a week. We had friends join us for lunch almost every day and whether it was 2 or 12 everyone has a space to relax, enjoy friendships and good food.

Relaxing

The cabin was just as described. We enjoyed skiing at Cataloochie and then going one day to see the elk. It was spacious, clean, updated, and nice.

Amazing spot

Spacious house with great hang out areas. Chef’s kitchen, grill, and Blackstone for tons of cooking options. High end finishes everywhere. Hot tub was great. Amazing view of the mountains. Only problem I had was we had to leave to go back home. Highly recommend!

Mountain Valley Splendor

This is a wonderful home. Motorcycle accessible and friendly but parking is tricky. 4br/3ba. Game room with pool table and kitchenette. Lots of space. Easy to find. Close to Maggie Valley. Off the main highway. Plenty of amenities. Hot tub was amazing! We couldn't turn on the light/fan in the game room but there was a lamp. Beautiful views from the back deck. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed 3 nights with 6 adults and 3 children under three. There was plenty of space for all of us. The house was spotless and beautiful inside and out. We had everything we needed for our stay. We cooked every meal at the house, using the outdoor grill and well equipped kitchen. The TVs and wifi worked great, the pool table and downstairs fridge made it a great place to hangout. The back deck is large with plenty of space for the kids to play and the adults to enjoy the gorgeous view of the mountains. We can't wait to go back!

AMAZING STAY

The house is beautiful and super comfortable, very spacious living area and big bedrooms. The house has a lot of large beds plus a bunk bed and a twin bed. The house was very clean with good quality linen and blankets (which are important to me).The lower floor has a private master bedroom, a kitchen and a pool table (with new poles!) which was great.We loved that the balcony is spaciouse and is on the second floor, which is great for privacy and for enjoying the view.The access is very easy with good roads.Kitchen feels brand new.Sofa - very very comfortableTV - has Disney plus, Netflix and everything you can wish forThe fire pit is super coolIt really makes you feel at home and super cozy right away!The house is equipped with extra soaps, shampoo, toilet papers, dish soaps, paper towel... you name it.The Cataloochee ski area is very close which adds to the experience!I would definitely recommend this house!We really enjoyed, and the communication is top service on the spot.

Overall good stay.

The indoor and outdoor space was really nice. The house was well-maintained and clean. The overhead light in one of the bedrooms was broken and would not turn on (needed more than a new light bulb). The master bed was not comfortable. It had humps in the mattress. For me personally, I rate the bed comfort as one of my most important features. There are many nice things about the house, but because I need a good night's sleep, I would not rent the house again. If you are looking for a nice porch and open floor plan, you would like this house.

Just what we were looking for!

The Mountain Valley Splendor home was perfect for our group of 7 during our week stay in the Smoky mountains. The house was spotless when we arrived. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out and relax. Lots of DVDs, board games, and puzzles to play which we did not need because the weather was perfect. The hot tub was the only thing I would say needed some TLC. It definitely wasn't the cleanest I'll say. BUT other than that, this place was the bees knees!!!!

Just There To Ride

Great house in a great location for riding. I would have like use of the garage for the bikes, but of well. The Roku TV remote is a pain! No ceiling fan remote found, so it stayed on reverse the whole time. LOL All in all, I would rent this one again.

Nice home.

Very beautiful home. Fit our family needs for size. Main reason we rented was Jacuzzi and pool table Heater on jacuzzi did not work. We did call rental agency and someone was suppose to call us back or come repair and did not on our stay. All but one pool stick had no tips so we had to keep sharing one stick.

Nice cabin, sad amenities

The cabin was very nice and comfortable for our family. The heartbreaking part that negatively impacted our trip was the lack of adequately working amenities. If I search out a location specifically with a grill or hot tub or pool table, it should be a reasonable expectation that these will all be in good working order. Unfortunately, they were not. The grill needed a good cleaning and maintenance, it caught fire and ruined our steak dinner one night. The outdoor fire pit would not stay lit. Only half of the jets on the hot tub were working and the temp never got warmer than bath water. We notified the rental agency right away, yet nothing was done to correct the issue during our stay. Although it is the least important, all of the pool sticks for the pool table were missing tips or tips completely broken. Again the issue is why are your renters paying for these items to be usable during their stay if they are just offered but not in good working order.

House was Okay! Housekeeping not so much!

House was nicely decorated and the floor plan fit our family nicely. However the kitchen was not fully stocked. We had to go buy pots and pans for our use while we were there for the Christmas Holidays. One of the TV remotes in one of the bedrooms would not work while another bedroom TV remote was no where to be found. Housekeeping was awful. The outside trash bin was full when we arrived so we could not use the outside trash bin. Trash pick up apparently is only on Tuesdays and we arrived on Friday and departed on Monday. The coffee pot filter was full of coffee grounds. We had to clean that before we could use the coffee pot. One of the king size bedspreads was dirty with black spots on it. One of the toilets would not fill with water. We called Vacasa and they did return my call but said because of the weather and Holidays no one was available until Monday. Our reservation was up on Monday. We made do with 2 bathrooms. Even though we had some issues, we as a family did not let this ruin our trip. We had many laughs, we watched movies, played games, opened presents and made a huge Christmas breakfast.

Great Possibilities

This home was full of possibilities. The layout was well thought out and the features were good. They have all of the basics covered with bedrooms and recreational areas. They can accommodate adults and children with king and bunk beds. They have a fire pit and jaccuzi and even a pool table. The only issies were (a) get to g access to the unit, (b) supplies and (c) condition. The combination lock did not work and we had to spend an hour on the phone upon arrival getting in. The paper towels and toilet paper were subpar and we were only given one paper towel roll for the kitchen and one for each bathroom. The condition of the outdoor furnifure, decks, fire pit and barbecue pit were dirty and did not perform well.
