Naturally there is less traffic, more privacy and peacefulness day and night.
Guest can enjoy the entire home including the backyard. This 3 bedroom home is perfect for families, couples or business travelers!
The house is cute (exactly as advertised) and has everything you need from coffee to shower supplies. The three bedrooms were perfect for a girlâs getaway for three. The neighborhood is safe and close to restaurants and entertainment.
A friend and I brought our high schoolers for a college visit to OCU and stayed here. The house was beautifully kept and in a great, quiet neighborhood so close to campus. It was perfect for our visit. We needed something during our stay and the owner communicated fast and solved everything quickly. Highly recommend!
Our family gathered from Texas and Colorado to visit my sick father. We needed a place for w couples and our daughter and her dogs. This was perfect! So close to hospital, so central to great restaurants, and excellent decor and room for doggos! Thank You!
Us Beasleys!
We enjoyed our 2 nights at this house. Only big drawback was part of the fence in the backyard is not big dog safe. Very easy for a bigger dog to jump right over. Not a huge problem for us. We just kept our dogs on leashes. It's a shame because the big back yard is really nice and our pups would have loved to run free. Would still rent this place again!
Bathroom had no towel bars or electricity, which was a challenge. No direct access to backyard and wasn't entirely suitable to small dogs as there was a large gap in fence/gate. Gate didnt close well. Kitchen missing wash cloths and no containers for food to be stored. Bedroom doors were sticking. Overall, a nice comfortable place with comfortable beds.
We booked and paid. Two nights prior to our booking my father in law passed away. Obviously that cancelled our trip. I messaged the host multiple times and asked if there was anything they could do as far as a refund. Absolutely no response. I understand they're running a business and can't refund for the booking. At minimum a refund of the cleaning fee would've been nice, since they didn't have to have the property cleaned. But even if they couldn't do that a simple response to my messages would've been nice.
Home was darling & pics were just as advertised. Upon arriving, the property owner let us know that they have a small ant problem in the kitchen and in order to avoid ants coming out, to not leave food on the counter. Not a problem for us - lord knows, weâve had to deal with sugar ants before.
However, before bringing any food into the house, & upon immediate arrival, they were already there.
This made prepping breakfast, and lunches the next day a bit of a pain. They were everywhere - in drawers, cabinets, etc. The moment you set a cutting board down, a piece of bread, a plate, it was quickly visited by ants.
The owner also let us know that due to the home being a restored, 80+ year old home (which is absolutely fine & we totally understand) that we shouldnât shower, wash dishes and flush the toilet all at the same time. As I mentioned, not a problem.
As a couple who have lived in and love older homes, we get it. âTwas not the case.
We did the dishes, waited 10-15 minutes before showering - only to find what we believed to be what was in the garbage disposal remnants in the shower and the toilet unflushable.
Needless to say with 3 adults and 2 children, all athletes and running in races for the weekend, showers were a hot commodity and incredibly hard to come by.
While this home is FULL of charm and beyond darling - Iâm afraid the other issues outweighed the good this time around.
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very cute and the neighborhood felt very safe and taken care of! The bathroom only has a sliding barn door which doesnât provide a whole lot of privacy and one of the bedroom doors doesnât shut.
We had a great time! The house was easy to find in a quiet neighborhood. It was clean and we didnât have any issues mentioned in other reviews with the plumbing or ants - it was all fine! The dishwasher was out of order which was a surprise but didnât bother us. The ice maker/water dispenser in the fridge didnât seem to be hooked up which was disappointing because we didnât realize that in time to buy ice when we were at the store. Otherwise, it was well-equipped with everything we needed! Beds were comfortable, check-in and check-out was easy, and we had a wonderful time! Would definitely stay again!
The location is a good central location to everything you want to do in OKC. Even though youâre in the middle of a neighborhood, itâs quiet at all times of the day. It felt safe as well which is a nice quality. The way it was decorated was so cute and I really loved the quality of the bedding and pillows. They werenât cheap hotel pillows or bedding. The fridge was a great size and there was quite a bit of cabinet space. There was shampoo and conditioner and body wash that was nice and the towels and wash rags were soft. The coffee machine wasnât working which was no big deal since we just went and got coffee on the way to our events that day and I let the owner know right away. The plug cover in the kitchen was broken but did not stop it from functioning so it wasnât a big issue. I let the owner know so they were aware. However, there were quite a few bigger drawbacks to this place. The kitchen had many ants that were just swarming. My daughter woke up with a few in her hair and they ended up in the living room. There was no food out and we took the trash out regularly. I again contacted the owner right away who informed me they spray weekly so this seems to be an ongoing issue. We found the ant spray and used it. We were told that we could find another place and we would get a refund for that night but we only had 1 night left and we had nowhere else to go. The drive home was too far and we had small kids to pack up. The bathroom plumbing seems to also be messed up as the drain in the shower doesnât work well and when it finally drains, the toilet bubbles up. The washer and dryer seems to be connected to the bathroom as when the washer drains, the toilet does the same. You canât be taking a shower and someone come in and use the restroom which is a downside if you have kids who need to use the restroom right away since the toilet wonât work while someone is in the shower. This would be a good house for a couple or one person but it was a bit of a struggle for a family. Overall, the experience was okay but there could be some improvements.
This property was a perfect fit for my business needs. It was quiet and comfortable and had all of the space I needed. Owner was very attentive and easy to contact. There is a great Bakery/ Deli not far from the house to grab breakfast, lunch, and dinner from if you donât have time to cook. I will definitely stay at this property again for my next business travel to OKC.
This house was adorable and I had so much fun hosting my friendâs bachelorette weekend here! We had an issue with the wifi when we arrived, but the owners immediately came out to look at it and had it fixed the next day.
