Cozy River House, Beautiful River Views, Community Boat Ramp, and Kayaks

Delightful River House with beautiful views of the Tennessee River and Armstrong Slough. Our Kayaks are within walking distance to community boat ramp for exploring the river. Perfect little getaway.

On the main level, the kitchen and living room are open concept. There is a flat screen T.V with cable. Access to the large deck that has 3 outdoor tables and a gas grill.

The main level also has 2 bedrooms that both have queen beds and dressers. There is a bathroom in the master bedroom with a stand-up shower. The second bathroom is in the main level hallway.

The third bedroom is located downstairs with twin bunk beds. The third bathroom is also located on this level. There is also a living room with a flat screen T.V, desk, foosball table, board games, books and a few DVD’s are located on the bookshelves.

There is a one car garage that has a few outdoor games like badminton, kickball and volleyball. The town of Dayton has Tennis Courts, there are 4 rackets and tennis balls in the garage.

There is the community boat ramp remarkably close to our backyard. Our kayaks are within walking distance to the boat ramp. There are 3 single kayaks and 1 double kayak. The way our house sits on the peninsula, not much boat parking. Our neighbor down Sertoma Drive owns Undercover Storage, it is gated and secure. Manager on site is Dale at 423-304-5785. This would be a great option for boat parking.

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our time at the river house. I wish we had a few more days to explore on the kayaks but we hope to come back in the future. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend!

Booked this home to stay in while we attended a sports tournament in Dayton. Perfect location, spacious, clean and very helpful property manager. Would definitely stay here again!!

This house has everything you need and much more! It’s a beautiful property and there was even a hummingbird to charm me. My only problem was that I wanted to stay longer. The views were great and to be enjoyed on the balcony with your coffee. Well done!!

Wedding

We stayed here for 2 nights for a relatives Wedding at the Mystic Lodge and it was perfect. Communication was excellent and everything was very clean. I didn’t cook much but the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Even coffee, they have a Keurig which if you’re like me…I appreciate very much. It was the perfect location for us. Wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the area.

Beautiful Water View

We had a great time renting this house with beautiful views. We used this house as a home base for our sons National Basketball Championship games. Better than staying in a hotel. Very comfortable and clean.

Awesome River Home

The house was perfect for our week and very spacious. We were a small group, but the house would accommodate many more people. The owner was very kind and helpful. Great experience! Thank you for the hospitality.

Bass Tournament

Great little property with everything you need for a quick get-away. Boat parking is sub-par but doable. Host is very good with communication.

Perfect Place!

Our group came to visit for a Wild Mustang Clinic in Pikesville,TN. The Rive house was a 40 min drive from Pikesville but it was perfect for us. The owner is a wonderful communicator. Plenty of room to spread out and everything was provided. The perfect touch was not left out she even added popcorn and coffee! We home you visit again soon!

Wonderful Place To Stay

We had a lovely time staying at your river house , everything was clean and well stocked, the kids wanted me to thank you for the popsicles you left for them in the freezer. We saw rabbits, groundhogs and deer in the back yard within 20 minutes of being there. Your flowerbeds looked lovely. I will most certainly be marking you in my favorites for our next visit. Great location

We shared this with another family while our kids were at the NACA tournament. This was a perfect location and close enough to everything, while still being in a quiet and beautiful location. A perfect place to rest up after a long day. Everything was as advertised, communication was perfect, and the house was well maintained. A high point was that there are several areas outside that were great for relaxing with a bbq grill, fire pits, and just comfort everywhere. If I’m ever in the area again,this will be the first place I check.

Great Stay

This was our stay for the 2024 Bassmaster High School National Championship. We absolutely loved the place. It has a nice grill, and a big deck to hang out on with great views, beds are nice and comfy, showers and bathrooms were great, washer dryer. It had a new boat ramp in the same cove the house is. If pulling boats you will need to leave them at the neighbor Dale's house near the boat ramp. Dale was awesome, parking for 2 20 footers, electric hookup with ease, and felt safe leaving them with Dale. I will definitely rent this again next time at the Chick.

Our Chattanooga trip

The home was very clean neat and had everything available that you would ever need to stay there. Johnna, the host was superb very responsive very informative, and very generous. If you’re looking to stay in the Chattanooga area or in Dayton as the house is this would be the perfect place. The lake views are incredible. Super quiet Met the neighbors. They were great if you’re looking for a restaurant Cara bills Italian is awesome. It’s not really just Italian they have everything if you make it there, make it to the bar go in and say hello to Gavin. He’s excellent bartender and waiter.

Great Spot on the Tennessee River

We really enjoyed our vacation rental in Dayton, TN! It served as a great home base for exploring the Great Smoky Mountains, whitewater rafting, Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. It requires much more driving than staying in one of those cities, but it offers the beauty and peace of being outside the cities and the crowds. The property is clean and well-furnished, with many amenities. There are 3 bedrooms (1 with a King, 1 with a Queen, and 1 with bunk beds, as well as an air mattress) and 3 bathrooms. All very nice. The host is very responsive and immediately takes action for any help her guests need. There is a spectacular view of the Tennessee River and kayaks to explore the water. Fishing, of course, if that is your thing. One night, there were fireflies to catch; another night, we roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. We saw beautiful birds every day and even had a vacation pet (the neighbor's dog) who was so cute and gentle! We highly recommend this property!
