Greta House | Spacious Pool, Gulf Views!

This gorgeous 3rd-floor corner unit condominium at the Ocean Grove Galveston Condominiums is spacious, roomy and offers both a full Gulf view and a view of the swimming pool and barbecue area of the common grounds. The Ocean Grove has a gorgeous swimming pool, workout room, garage parking (with two assigned spaces), upscale living in a high rise, close to the water, close to 89th street fishing pier, close to Moody Gardens!

Guests enter this corner unit to an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. All new furnishings and accessories make this one of the most appealing properties in this complex. The living area has floor-to-ceiling windows with a full view of the Gulf - you will see the shrimp boats out in the early morning as you sip a coffee on the balcony. The living area features a large 65" television. This unit also has cable television and WiFi for your convenience. The primary bedroom has a king bed and 55" television.

The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed (sleeps 3), for a total of 7 guests. As guests relax and enjoy this home they are also able to stream from their own Netflix, Hulu or other streaming services through the living room television (instructions provided at check in). Step out on the balcony and watch as the large brown pelicans fly overhead for the last catch of the day! What a view - a vacation will you not soon forget. This property perfect for couples or small families. With larger groups, combine with one of the other Ocean Grove units that we manage.

This unit is also available for off season monthly rentals, please ask your vacation planner for details. No pets allowed at The Ocean Grove Condominiums. Limit of 2 cars.

OCEAN GROVE CONDOMINIUMS
Ocean Grove amenities include a 100-foot outdoor pool (not heated), lounge chairs, fitness center, covered parking, most units offer in-unit laundry and a community picnic area with grills. Ocean Grove condos offer 9-foot ceilings, open floor plans, tile floors, updated kitchens with granite countertops, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ocean Grove makes the most of the views. All condos offer a private balcony and all offer panoramic unobstructed Gulf Views. Guests will love to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall and watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead. Ocean Grove Condominiums are located directly on Seawall, half a mile past 89th Street, towards the West End of the island, just before the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk, ends. This property is non-smoking however you are allowed to smoke on the balcony with the doors closed. Please dispose of your trash appropriately.

Quick trip! Awesome stay

Had a great weekend with friends, sand soccer, beach time, shopping, and fishing charter!! Condo had everything we needed, great views- and location was just a little towards the end of the strip so it was PERFECT not too busy and close enough to all the spots!!

I have a little OCD, so was nervous, but this property was fantastic. Everything was VERY clean and neat. The views are amazing and the property manager was so nice and helpful. We’ll definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

New Year's Getaway

The condo was very clean and convenient to local attractions. For some unknown reason I didn't receive the check-in email, but the management company was quick to resolve the issue even on a holiday! We enjoyed the condo and would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo fit our family well, was easy to access, had good amenities, was clean, and was right across from the beach. I didn’t remember reading that we needed arm bands for the pool and a resident gave us a hard time about that on the last day but other than that it was a great experience.

The property was well located and clean. Enjoyed the view and comfort, but the table chairs are more for kids or very tiny people. On a busy holiday traffic to cross from the condo was terrible, it would be nice to have a light for people to cross.

Exactly what we needed!

Greta House was absolutely amazing! The pictures do not do this condo justice, it was much brighter and welcoming in person. There was plenty of room for all of us, and the view from the balcony is awesome! We sat outside on the balcony for hours in the evenings because it's shaded and cool, and even spotted a couple of dolphins surfing the waves. We will definitely stay here again when we come back if it is available. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us!!!

The area was nice, but the bedding was stained, my kids puller out a provided throw blanket that smelled like urine. The jacuzzi tub blew black debris from the jets. We were a family of 5 staying for 5 days and were only provided 2 trash bags, two dish washer detergent tabs some John Wayne toilet paper (rough, touch and dont take crap from anyone) no shampoo or condition. For the price we paid it was definitely a let down. The ocean and beach was also full of tar balls that ruined anything they touched. We ended up leaving a day early. NOT IMPRESSED

Clean property, but terrible location

This property is clean and the beds are comfortable. HOWEVER, the kitchen finishes are HORRIBLE and super cheap. Not only that, but I have stayed in SEVERAL VRBO locations and they all have basic kitchen needs. You know, like SALT AND PEPPER! There was nothing like that. It makes it really frustrating when you want to cook at home and feel like you have to buy basic things like salt, pepper, cooking spray just to make it work. There is a washer and dryer, but again; no detergent. Because of the location it is VERY LOUD outside. It was quiet inside. But the reason you pay extra to be oceanfront is to enjoy the noises of the ocean; not the HIGHWAY! Not only that, you can't even get to the ocean because there ARE NO CROSSWALKS. You are forced to jaywalk! And the pier costs $5 to walk on! Are you kidding me?? Enjoy the deck; not a chance! It is WAY TOO NOISY outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean and spacious. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. We loved our location at the end of the seawall for convenience to the local attraction and a short drive to Jamaica Beach. Beautiful Ocean view from our balcony also, and the pool was very clean and refreshing.

Great Condo

Our family of 5 was very happy with this condo! The property is clean and secure and quiet. The balcony view is nice. We were a short drive from the busier Pleasure Pier area. We could walk to the beach and a restaurant/bar down the street, although it was a bit tricky crossing Seawall Blvd. The property included hand soaps, bath toiletries, and a small amount of dishsoap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry soap. We had to provide additional laundry soap and toilet paper and dishwasher detergent. Our kids loved swimming in the pool too. We found a few boardgames in the condo to play on a rainy day. There were adequate dishes to make simple things like eggs for breakfast or Mac N Cheese. We would definitely recommend this condo for someone visiting Galveston.

Fantastic

This is the cleanest property we have ever staying in at Galveston. Nice view despite being a lower floor. Bed was the most comfortable I have ever experienced in Galveston (and we have stayed in over a dozen places on VRBO over the years). Quite simply this one for location, how the nice the property is, and for the price (not cheap, but not expensive ... you MORE than get what you pay for), this is an A+ property.

Great Seaside Condo

This is a great 3 bed 2 bath condo along the seashore. The place was clean and as described. The kids were able to adjust quickly and slept well. Just be sure to bring something for your feet. The tile floor in January is quite cold - probably great in the summer!

Great location

Modern but property needs some repair. Elevators are in need of some repairs. Gates were not working when we left the parking garage. We were told by Ryson to put the garage in the trash barrels when we left but there were none at the facility.

Perfect ladies get away

We're a group of 4 ladies in our 40/50s. Our criteria are: safety, enough space for us all, and cleanliness. This place delivered on absolutely everything. Checkin was online and easy. The location is a little out of the way but we enjoyed the quieter Seawall promenade. You can walk for miles either way and feel completely safe. The building itself is not huge which meant it was not busy. You have to enter a code to get into any gate, even when walking. It has a small fitness center and a really nice pool area. The apartment was super clean and very well kept. The furnishing is beachy without being twee. Very comfortable beds and great linens. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to prepare meals. It was around $15 uber to the strand and all the bars and restaurants, but worth paying to have the quiet to return to. If I were being super picky I would say the balcony is very small (it was a struggle for 4 of us to be out there round the table). We enjoyed this place so much we all talked about returning with our families.

Beautiful amenities

We stayed in unit 312. We had no hot water but we came right after the hurricane. The kitchen is not stocked well at all. No mixing bowls, few utensils. I cannot say enough good things about Christy at Ryson. If not for her our stay would have been ruined.
