Wood burning fireplace indoors and lighted fire pit outdoors gives you the choice on where to make your delicious s'mores. Amazing hot tub for more outdoor fun.
Deer cross through regularly, typically in the early morning when it's the quietest. New appliances fill the kitchen starring a Samsung gas smart stove for your best cooking and baking. Regulation size shuffleboard, horse shoes and corn hole are games on the property. A geologist, petrologist, or just plain rock lovers dream, the land is covered with quartz, slate, and rocks. Moss that feels like carpet and many other natural elements can be found near the creek. The deck and dock are great places to sit and drink coffee or bring your yoga mat. The cabin sits in a secluded heavily wooded area in Hochatown. The land and creek are beautiful all year long and with the change of the seasons comes different types of beauty. Snow and rain increase the depth of the creek and the speed of the water movement. Sunshine eventually brings lots of leaves and full trees.
Had an amazing and relaxing time! Property was as described and the owners were extremely easy to get in touch with. We can't wait until our next visit!
Beautiful town, beautiful lake, beautiful property and beautiful cabin! The owners were helpful with any questions and the check in and out process was super easy. My friends and i had a blast!
Our family of 7 had plenty of room to hang out together and find quiet individual space as well. Our kids played outside much of the time on the private 5 acres. We were minutes away from Beaver Bend State Park. We highly recommend this beautiful home if you are traveling to the Broken Bow area.
The property is very private. We saw deer every day. There is a house being built on the same lot that would be good to rent together with the existing house.
The house was in a peaceful setting, very clean and as pictured. The shuffleboard table did not work because there were not any beads to add on it and firewood is not provided with the house so you will need to pick some up on your way in.
10 out of 10 recommend! The place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It does look like a second home will be built near it but at this time it is just the one home and you have plenty of privacy. We took so many pictures because the views are great for it. Communication was great with the host and we ended up adding nights.
Our few days at this cabin were amazing! The house and property were immaculate and the owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! The beds were comfortable, decor was beautiful, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals at the cabin and there were plenty of games for the kids and adults to play (cornhole, horse shoes, board games). We never even turned on the tv while we were there. The kids loved fishing and playing in the creek! They caught perch and bass the whole trip! We also saw tons of deer each evening while relaxing by the fire pit. It was the perfect getaway for us and the kids and we hope to come back in the future!!
Our kids (10 & 7) would have spent all day catching minnows, crawdads, and bugs down in the creek if we had let them. They even put a line in and caught a 5in green sun fish and a 8-9in green sun fish. We were all very surprised to find such good sized fish in a creek! There is a cabin going up on the other side of the creek, but for our visit we enjoyed deer, birds, solitude and a location convenient to the activities in the park! Hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks for sharing your space with our family!
Such a cool property. Sits on 10 acres and creek runs through middle of property. Caught a small perch out of creek. When you step out of back deck the creek and the trees and sounds of nature make it so serene. There is a cabin theyâre building on the other side of creek which is always in view if on back deck but no one was staying in it so itâs like we had 10 acres all to ourselves!! Saw deer in the evening by the creek one of our nights. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to be secluded with their friends and family while staying in Hochatown.
This property was so very clean and functional. Had everything we needed! Kids could roam and still be within eyesight. Also loved the proximity to Local 259. So convenient!
It looked like the pictures nice and clean, cozy with all the nice soft throw blankets, charming fireplace and nice kitchen to cook in, I love the gas stove! The deck was a beauty, nature bugs was a problem so bringing plenty of tiki candles helped! The cabin was perfectly ducked off but they are building another cabin across the way so hopefully the trees will help avoid the privacy concerns. We really look forward in going back in the fall!
Perfect cabin for our family. New, clean and well furnished. Amazing location. Right off the highway but feels like youâre miles into the woods. Deer and wildlife all around everyday. Great views from every room. Great hosts as well!!
Great new property on a creek â secluded, expansive deck, top-of-the-line appliances and fixtures. Only regret is that cabin under renovation across the creek that distracts from what we hoped was seclusion on 5 acres. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed a great escape!
We loved our time here. I canât say enough good things about it. We were greeted by deer when we arrived and left. The house is beautiful and clean. The woods around the house were a dream for kids to play in. The only thing I would comment on is I really wish there wasnât another cabin being built across the creek. The sole reason we booked this house, and I what I think made it so special, was because there it was completely private with no other houses close by. Thatâs just a personal opinion. Still an a great place to stay!
Wonderful cabin in a quiet location in the woods. The owners were excellent in communicating with us and taking care of any questions we may have had. Very peaceful weekend.
We are recent empty nesters with the desire to create a place for families to bond and make lasting memories. Jay is the type to survive anything with the bare elements surrounding him, while Tracy is looking for the nearest hotel that offers room service! We are blessed to be married 29 years and have raised 6 kids.
With 6 kids we did not vacation often, but did manage a few trips. One to the Caribbean, one to Disney World, and one to Broken Bow. Recently, sitting around the dinner table we asked our grown kids which vacation they liked best and our youngest burst out first with Beavers Bend! What wonderful memories we made glamping, canoeing, playing games, and exploring nature.
With both of us suddenly out of work in 1993 and expecting our first child, my dad came by and said what are ya'll going to do!? He suggested with my experience in Real Estate and Jay's experience in Construction that we open a construction business. So we did. Building this cabin with other families in mind has been a labor of love.
