We did enjoy our time here. However, there are a few details that couldâve made the experience even better. The check-in process was fine. Overall the biggest issueâs were cleanliness of the property and furniture issues. The property at first glance seemed okay. However, there was dust on the furniture, spider webs in the bathroom, dust on top of everything. A blanket out of the closet had some sort of dried substance all over it. The bar stools are extremely unstable and would not recommend anyone sitting on them. The bench on the outdoor patio fell completely off when someone tried to sit on it. The entire porch had to be swept off. The door mats were gross and one of them was soaking wet. I understand not everything can be perfect. This cabin was a deep clean and some minor repairs away from being an awesome stay for my family. The furniture issues need to be addressed ASAP. In the future, Iâll probably look for a different cabin that has all the details figured out.
The house was very nice and cozy. Everything was clean and the location was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. There are a couple of negatives- the pots and pans provided are all very worn and scratched Teflon coated items that need to be replaced. The road getting to the cabin was awful. We are dirt road people, but these roads were truly awful and so full of potholes we tried to minimize our trips in and out. I guess it did at least keep anyone from speeding. We were in a Durango and wouldnât advise going in a sedan or sports car.
I loved the cabin and our trip! We had a relaxing weekend. The only thing I would suggest is if future renters are planning on cooking to bring some pans for the oven. We had to go buy some cheap ones to use this weekend. There were plenty of pots and skillets for the stove just not any baking sheets or cake style pans.
Cabin was nice. We were missing the fire control for the fire place. The property was very muddy from storms the week before and the road to reach the cabin is terrible. Other than that cabin is nice and served us well.
We have been coming up to Broken Bow for many years and this cabin was great! It was dog friendly and was tucked back in the trees. Great yard space! It has an old charm and the quintessential wood cabin throughout. It was a wonderful trip!
Great property everything was nice but one of the pictures need to be upgraded and taken down. Some people would find it offensive but besides that cabin was great.
This was a girls trip. Itâs just a few hours from the hustle and bustle of DFW and a quiet area. The house was exactly as described. If you plan on arriving after dark, please be careful as roads are not lit and there no lights or reflectors down gravel roads to show address. The hot tub was refreshing and perfect with the cooler, crisp night air. Thank you for sharing your home.
Our family loved the special touches of the Christmas decor. The location was perfect to all the activities we did. We used the corner store many times over the weekend. We used the hot tub and foosball table! Overall the cabin was perfect for our first time in Broken Bow. Brother
