We had a great stay in Albuquerque. The house and location were perfect. We were close enough to the city, both old and new, yet far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle.
Definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in ABQ.
This property was perfect for us. Everything we needed was provided. That includes Kitchen and Bathroom needs. Beautiful property. We will stay there again for sure.
This home was a perfect 3 bedroom family home to stay in. Located close to everything and in a good neighborhood. The Petroglyph National Monument and hiking trails were only 5 minute drive, and Old Town Albuquerque and Downtown were also super close, about 10 minute drive. The house was very warm for our winter visit.
We enjoyed our stay with our young adult children. The property is conveniently located with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping. It is also easy to get to beautiful hiking trails - some within walking distance. Don't miss taking the tramway or driving to Santa Fe on the old highway. Visit the local national park areas -- truly stunning!
We flew to Albuquerque to visit family. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of Joy's property. The home was set up with plenty of linens and paper products and the kitchen was nicely stocked. She has a lovely backyard with a covered sitting area complete with chairs, fire pit and table for outside dining. The location is very convenient and the neighborhood is quiet. We will definitely contact Joy the next time we plan to visit.
Our stay was fantastic. We had a small hiccup with the heater. It was abnormally cold in Albuquerque that week, and we needed the heat. Unfortunately it wouldnât turn on. I contacted Joy and she promptly sent someone over and had it fixed. Highly satisfied with the overall experience. I would stay again at this residency.
We were very disappointed with the condition of the property. Prior to our stay we communicated with the host to determine if the house had any water damage history that would indicate problems with mold. The host said there had been no history of water damage. The reason we asked this question is because two individuals in our party have illnesses that can be caused by mold exposure. The house had several locations that indicated prior water damage(water damage line on the side of the kitchen cabinet, missing base cabinet toe-kick board in kitchen near refrigerator, current water damage around the inside edges of the master bathroom skylight causing heavy black mold growth, and master bathroom cabinet toe-kick damage that had been partially repaired). The entire house had a very strong perfume odor presumably to hide the smell of mold. There were several items within the home that were broken or in need of repair such as the following: Broken slats in kitchen window blinds, front door knob is loose to the point of almost falling completely off, front bedroom door knob doesn't lock, and kitchen faucet is very loose). After arriving late the first evening of our stay we(three out of the four individuals in our party) made the decision to stay the first night. Out of caution concerning our mold susceptibility we three individuals sought lodging elsewhere in the Albuquerque area. The remaining person in our party chose to stay three nights rather than the full four n
So a mostly positive stay. The house was clean and we had no issues with it other than the faucet switch to activate the guest shower was non-functional from Day 1 (we figured out how to rig it ok to be usable), and the A/C seemed to have a mind of its own. Youâd set it at 70 and it would continue to run til it got to 60âŠthe only way to combat it was turning it off. Then it took forever to turn back on. And being a house in NM under record heat, Iâd assume weâd have use of the garage to keep the car outta the sun, but it was off-limits due to being used for storage. But ultimately those are minor issues and didnât impact our week-long visit.
Communication with the host was great and clear. My mom forgot her insulin pack in the fridge when we left and she quickly mailed it back to us which was awesome and appreciated. Iâd definitely stay again
The house was perfect for our stay. Lots of room, park-like backyard, well appointed, comfortable beds. House is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to shops and trails. Felt very safe there. Joy was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely stay here next time we go to ABQ.
This house was awesome- super clean and included extras such as toiletries and laundry detergent. I really liked the high ceilings. There is also a small fire pit with chairs around it to enjoy a nice evening outside, which is lovely! It is in a nice location and I felt safe there. It is a bit outside of downtown but itâs only a 10-15 drive away. There are plenty of stores within driving a few minutes. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!
Nine day stay for us. Quiet neighborhood, good central location. Extremely well stocked. All the linens and towels were very good, clean and plentiful. We would stay here again definitely! Very nice owners, too.
We had a great time at this vacation home. The home is EXACTLY as listed. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed. The home owner was readily available to answer all questions. Definitely recommend this property. Will definitely book again.
