We had a great time and this was the perfect home base for exploring the UP. Diane was quick to respond to the few questions we had. Overall a great place!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The camper was clean and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything...bottled water was left by each side of the bed and chocolates were left for us too! Lots of DVDs to choose from and the campfire was all setup for our arrival. Great location for trips to Munising, Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point. We did Pictured Rocks and Shipwreck tours, visited Munising area falls, Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend staying here!
The property is small but nice. The neighbor is extremely close and during our stay, he was laying concrete so the noise was somewhat loud. That wasn't a big deal. Now, the camper sits about 20' off a main road. A very busy road during the day and early evenings that is really loud with passing semi trucks, side by sides and just regular vehicles. If you want peace, this probably isn't ideal. If you dont mind noise, its a nice place to stay. We did have deer come out every night
Excellent location, super hosts invested in my comfort. Right on the road, with access to many UP sights and destinations. Relaxing firepit, visiting deer and hummingbirds.
Very nice! The RV had everything we needed for our stay. Cozy bed, nice towels and the kitchen had all the items to make coffee and or meals. The yard was nice and we enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit.
We love this place. Comfy bed. Diane messages back to answer questions promptly. Quiet area. Quaint town with lake views. Hope to continue making this part of a yearly summer vacation.
The location was within reasonable driving distance for the locations we wanted to go to. We had a glitch with the power when we first arrived, but Diane was able to help us through that. Once we got that figured out everything went smoothly. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay.
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. It was our first visit to the UP. The welcoming personal touches upon our arrival were amazing. Diane and Allen even stopped by to introduce themselves and ask if we had any questions. Allen had prepped our first bonfire. Diane was very quick to respond with any messages we sent and the property instructions were really helpful. Having WiFi at the property was a lifesaver to download hiking maps since cell reception in the UP is scarce.
The bed was very comfortable and all amenities worked well. We would definitely consider this property again.
All the previous reviews are correct in the information they have given in their reviews. One thing that should been know and there is nothing that the host can do about it. The trailer sits very close to the road (20 ft) and also very close to the neighbor's driveway. The road has quite a bit of traffic on it, so I didn't find it very quiet.
