Bungalow 437 is located near Downtown Corvallis and very close walking distance to OSU. It is nestled in the Historical Rayburn Addition Neighborhood which has many historical homes that date back to the 1850s. Since its 1924 construction, Bungalow-437 has had some notable history as well--It has been a cherished home to Professors, Artists, Students, Lawyers, Business Owners, and a was once a Montessori Preschool. We hope you can feel and experience itâs warmth, charm, and character while you visit Corvallis!
We had a great, comfortable stay at Bungalow 437. First impression was "clean". The beds were wonderful and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We spent most of our time sitting on the lovely front porch and enjoyed the proximity to the occasional train passing by. The first one really surprised us, but just added to the enjoyment. We would happily stay there again.
We came to Corvallis to see family and we were so impressed with our stay at this house. It was spotless when we arrived, had everything you could need during a stay and was so convenient to downtown. When we come back to Corvallis we will definitely try to stay here again!
The home was clean and well appointed. We loved the vintage details. The front porch for sitting and having cocktails and back yard for meals. The train went by once and made for a fun event.
We stayed 2 nights for campus tours with our daughter and this charming home was perfect for us. Even in the heat, the building stayed relatively cool with the help of multiple fans. Very clean and very well kept. So close to downtown that we could walk nearly everywhere, but it was a quiet neighborhood. Short drive to campus. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
It really was an adorable place. Lots of charm. Definitely warm with no AC but they had so many fans to help cool it off. Definitely lots of care shown for the place and making our stay comfortable.
Such a lovely little bungalow! Super clean and full of character. My family loved walking around town from this highly walkable location. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday. Thanks ever so much!
This cottage was a home I wished I lived in! Historically charming with authentic touches. It was immaculately clean, well appointed, and all directions were so helpful. We appreciated the effort to cool the house down with many fans provided-but it was still tough due to an abnormal heatwave, otherwise literally a perfect place to stay, especially the proximity to OSU campus during orientation days for our daughter. When itâs not 98 degrees, we will stay here anytime we come to see our girl! Thank you!
This was our first trip to visit our son at OSU. The home was so just as pictured! Very clean, comfortable beds, and great location. Walking distance to downtown and the river area. Wisecracks serves an amazing breakfast! American Dreams Pizza and Sky High Brewing both had great food and fun rooftop areas. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!
We were very happy with Bungalow 437. The location was perfect for us to be able to walk around downtown Corvallis and to access OSU campus and local shopping easily. The bungalow was absolutely charming with the front porch and back patio, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, and living area. The t.v. was easy to use with plenty of good streaming choices. We appreciated the basic stocked items that made our stay so much better!
A great place to explore Corvallis from. We really enjoyed being able to walk to town to enjoy all Corvallis has to offer. The home was clean and comfortable . We spent a lot of time on the front porch enjoying the cool of the mornings and evenings. The train was really no bother.
This house is very cute and comfortable. It is decorated perfectly - welcoming and up-to-date without feeling like "too much". The beds were also very comfortable and that is always an appreciated detail. Will definitely book again.
Bungalow 437 is a comfortable, well-kept house near Washington Park just north of downtown Corvallis, an easy walk to the riverfront. The historic architecture of the neighborhood near the train tracks gives a taste of life in Corvallis a century ago. Our family was glad to have the bungalow as our gathering place.
