We loved the coziness of this home. It was warm and inviting to relax and enjoy the Lake Junaluska area. The area was peaceful, quiet, and conducive to allowing us time for spiritual introspection and development. We will be back in this area in early November time frame. We highly recommend this home and Vacasa was a great host. We'll be back in the near future.
My husband and I are 75 and the steps into the unit were scary to manipulate. Unit was clean...sheets fresh and clean towels....no hair dryer....sewage leaked on the ground in the area we had to walk to get to our car....smelled BAD. Contacted Vacasa and got no response. Too much buffering on TV....we will not stay in this unit again. Shared pool????
This cute little cabin was exactly what I needed. It was so cozy with hand quilted wall hangings, unique art work, and lovely antique furniture pieces. The bed was comfortable (more than my own at home). The bathroom was very modern and clean for a rustic cabin. I opened the windows and woke to birdsong every morning. It's in a very nice neighborhood, and the neighbors that I came in contact with were pleasant and kind. The only downfall to the entire home is that if you have balance issues or ambulatory issues, you need to be careful going up the small stairs leading up to the yard. I would definitely rent this home again.
The apartment was lovely and clean. Plenty of windows. Kitchen had more appliances than advertised, which was a nice surprise. Good and abundant bedding. Motion activated lights on front and back were great and donât shine into the apartment when activated. There are no lights on the side of the building, and you have to walk through the yard there to get from the parking to the entrance.
The stairs from the parking area are very narrow and the landing is tight- you could hit your head on the corner logs if not careful. The entrance is on the back of the building and there is no walkway between the parking and the stairs up. Railing on the entrance stairs was wobbly and low. Wi-Fi was extremely slow and unreliable. If you need to do work or stream the wi-fi wonât be adequate unless it is updated.
If the internet is addressed we would happily stay again.
The authentic small cabin was nicely furnished, and we were pleased to find plenty of towels, soaps and paper products. We enjoyed waking up to singing birds. The walk to the Junaluska conference center was lovely, but did involve a challenging hill.
