Superior Street Rental #1 Downtown Munising, 2023 Remodel

Welcome to Munising Michigan, the home of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Waterfalls, Boat Cruises, Scenic Tours, and some great Yooper Pasties! Located right in downtown Munising within walking distance to most attractions and food. This apartment is perfect for short or long stays, whether you are passing through on vacation, or coming up for work and looking for furnished housing. Open concept living and kitchen area. Bedroom one has a Queen bed and bedroom two has two double beds. Electric fireplace and a flat screen TV in each room. We recently added a grill outback for guest use, this is also shared with unit #2. There is a firepit with seating as well, that is also shared with other guests. Pet friendly for dogs up to 30lbs, 2 dog limit and there is a $53/pet fee plus and additional one time cleaning charge of $30.
Located on the 2nd Floor, the stairwell includes 21 steps to access the units. Larger groups can rent more than one unit in the building if needed, there is a total of 4. Call us for more information.

**PETS! Airbnb may only charge you for the 1st pet, you will be requested to send an additional $50 plus tax ($53) per pet. Our pet policy is $50/pet plus tax plus an additional one time cleaning charge of $30. If Airbnb does not collect this amount you are still responsible. We're respecting your pet, so please respect our pet policy. Clean up after your pet, please do not allow pets on furniture. Please keep kenneled if left alone. If your pet barks when you are gone, please do not leave it alone.

***There is a doorbell camera mounted at the back entryway outside.

***Door code will be released the night prior to check-in for security purposes.

Great Location with Everything You Need

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Me, my wife and two sons (13 and 15) stayed here for three nights. The location is perfect. Everything in Munising is walkable from here. The place was pretty clean although it is in an old building. There were too many spiders for my wife's liking but it didn't bother me. Even though the building is old the apartment was nicely updated and had everything we needed including, thankfully, separate beds for our kids. We all had plenty of room and the kitchen/living room area was nice to hang out it. There were some slight cleanliness issues, a dirty shower curtain, a cigarette butt on the floor, but overall it felt clean. We enjoyed our stay here and loved that you can walk to everything in Munising. It was a great home base for seeing Pictured Rocks.

This apartment was perfectly located and CLEAN!!! Well-appointed kitchen. Sweet coffee corner too! The beds were comfortable and the pillows too. I would book with this owner again.

Would stay again.

Cute appartment. Location was perfect for all we wanted to do. Close to many restaurants and a few breweries. Walking distance to all. Walking distance to Picture Rock Cruise. Main bedroom bed uncomfortable but clean. The two other beds were comfortable and clean. Easy check in. Parking in front can get full, but rental #1has parking in back as well. Rental was clean and it had whatbwe needed.

Such a wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable and had all things one would need while traveling. The stove was a bit of a problem as it did not heat up properly or get really hot. But everything else was wonderful. Location is very close to everything. We were able to walk to all places in town. Thanks for a lovely rental. Munising is very pretty.

Friends trip

Location was amazing, walkable to everything. Although places close so early. The space was good for 5 people (one on couch) since we weren't home except in evenings. Bed's and pillows comfortable and appreciated the window air conditioners. Hot water heater small for our group of 5 (2 people had warm showers at a time). Adorable little kitchen area well stocked. Host was very responsive and tried to remedy any Inconveniences quickly. Over all recommend this Vrbo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental has everything you need in an amazing location. It was clean upon arrival and property manager was quick to respond and resolve issues. We used this as a long-term rental over the winter and had minor issues with snow removal and heat, but everything was resolved on the same day we notified them. The internet worked great, tvs in every room, they left extra sheets and towels and have recycling. When our family comes to visit, we will definitely be using this rental company to rent out these lovely apartments! You can walk to coffee shops, bars, and shops. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

fall foliage trip to Michigan

The apartment was conveniently located. It was clean the beds were very comfortable. Take non-slip slippers with you as the wood floors were very slippery if you walked on them when wearing just socks. Otherwise we really liked this apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, which is not always the case with rental apartments. The management company did a great job of communicating with us about check in & out procedures.

Cute and cozy place with plenty of space and kitchen area to enjoy meals and talking. #1 is on the street side so noise and light from the road were noticeable. White noise from the clock solved the noise issue. Blackout curtains would be a nice addition, but if you hike all day, sleep comes easier! Cleaning crews could take a peek at corners, lights and vents - lots of dust and a few spiders hanging around. Pictured Rocks Vacation Rentals are very responsive to all communications. I would definitely go through them again. If I chose this location of rental, I would likely look for a back apartment versus #1 at the front.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was as pictured and very comfortable for my, my husband and 3 teenagers. Loved the location right in the middle of town and above a little coffee shop/restaurant. Walking distance to shops, brewery, food, Lake Superior. The only thing that would have made it nicer would be a view. The bathroom was very small but suitable. The kitchen was great although it seemed like the stove took a long time to heat up. I would recommend they add a tea kettle for us tea drinkers! Overall would definitely recommend, fantastic value!

No help with oven

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived on a Friday night. After waiting an hour for the oven to preheat we called the office and then the alternate phone number for current guests. Nobody answered either phone or called us back the entire time we were there. I left another message when we checked out and never got a response to that. Our entire stay the oven never preheated. I stay at rentals instead of hotels so we can cook our own food. I fully understand there wasn’t going to be an immediate fix to the oven, but I was very disappointed that no one responded. We had to make multiple changes to our plans as a result of the oven not functioning as it should. Even the stove top cooked very slow just to fry eggs.

Cute little apartment

Location is perfect for our shower visit. Owner was very easy to communicate with although we didn’t really need anything. The only complaint I had was the bathroom door would not lock, but that is very minor issue. We would definitely stay again!

Nice Little Upstairs Apartment

It worked great for our family of 6. We liked the open floor plan and it was very clean. We loved the beach decor. The sheets were super soft. We were slightly disappointed with [heel?] hole in the back of the tub, but my little guy was still able to take a bubble bath with the tape repair. We would stay again.
