Check-in was easy through VRBO, however, there was always someone in our assigned parking spot. The condo could’ve been great, but 2 days of seeing palmetto bugs/roaches in the master bedroom is not ideal for sleeping restfully. I get that it’s Florida, but this place must be infested being that we were on the top 6th floor.The pillows were terribly too soft. The carpets and drapes were stained and dirty. The hot tubs and pool were great. The views and beach great.Also really liked the on site cafe and beach bar.Quite disappointed in the bug issue in a “penthouse” condo and large cleaning fees that I was charged.

Very spacious unit. Plenty of room. Everything was very clean. Very nice unobstructed view. Host was very informative about some pending construction and provided detailed parking instructions.

First time to Treasure Island with family

Overall the stay at Sunset Vista was great. Had a bar and cafe in premise, Right on the beach, within minutes of everything to do. There was a couple minor issues with the room but not a big deal. Property management was very communicative and prompt with responses. The elevators need to be overhauled or replaced. One was not working and the other two were slow and during rides it was pretty warm, no ventilation or AC. Staff was very friendly too.

Great location

This was a great place for our vacation. As listed in previous reviews, there was a few things that need repaired like the bathroom vents and the sliding glass door, but other than that this was perfect for our family of 4. The pool area was nice, but we did not utilize it much, because we were right on the beach! John’s Pass was just a quick 10 minute walk away. Our teens walked down there regularly as did us adults. This unit had beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, and some sand toys for the kids. Beach towels were not included, which was no big deal. Some units had them and some did not. Would stay here again for sure!!

We stayed 3 nights and had a good time the place is clean the only downside is the first 2 days cool and windy weather March 5,and 6 2025, the unit is very clean the pool not heated use the hot tub instead. Inside the unit exhaust fan in both bathrooms not working the master bedroom has no toilet paper holder the master bedroom sliding glass door would not open and there was a noticed on the counter top exhaust fan needed repair since last month. But overall the place is good.

Good Stay but Missing the fine details

Overall, good property but not five star. Beds were old and very worn, no toilet paper holder in primary bathroom, light bulbs burnt out, closet door handles missing, primary bathroom fan inoperable. Overall, great property but missing the details. Maintenance/ cleaning staff needs to step up their game.

Great property

Rooms were very nice and clean. Had everything you need for a stay on the beach. Beach chairs, umbrella!! Which I lnew before we packed the car down. Plenty of pots and pa s to cook in the room of you want. Noce that you have a key code, so you dont have to worry about taking a key card each time you left. Would definitely stay there again. room.

Family Vacation

The condo was very clean and comfortable, stocked with everything that we needed. We loved the fantastic beach view from our balcony! My granddaughter was super excited when she saw the beach toys (thank you for that). The Hosts were very receptive to communication. If available for our next vacation we will be booking another stay here.

Anniversary

Check-In was okay, elevator was broken and did not reach the sixth floor so we had to take alternate routes to get back and forth to the room. Small view of the beach from our balcony. Wish I could have been more beachfront. Had to kill two giant cockroaches one while my wife was getting out of the shower and the other right before. Besides that it was okay.

Great stay 1st time treasure island

Great beach, pool on site. Cafe on site makes breakfast easy. Less than a mile to johns pass. Free cab is fun, but can sometimes be a wait. Treasure island mile long path is one block over at beach with nice restaurants/bars on the walk. Will definitely be back!

Too many issues

We arrived in the evening and found a note from the cleaning crew that they couldn’t make the master bed because the dryer took too long to dry the sheets. Upon trying to make the bed, the sheets were stained. Then the master bathroom smelled terrible from probably being cleaned with dirty sponges. The shower curtain smelled as well. We had to go to Target to get new sheets and shower curtain. Even more distressing was the handle to the sliding glass door was broken and hanging from a screw. A call to Carter Coastal Vacations had them out the next morning recleaning the bathroom and changing the sheets. The door handle was fixed on Monday. I was told my cleaning fee would be returned, but no refund issued. They did respond to my issues, but I don’t feel that these things should have happened in the first place, especially with the amount paid to rent it. On top of that, the resort rented out the restaurant for a wedding with a live DJ on Friday evening. It ended at 10, but hard to put small children to bed with that noise level, especially when we had to get up early to leave by 10 AM. The grounds are very nice, but too many issues for me to ever consider returning.

Beautiful condo

We loved staying here. They provided everything needed for a beach trip. Condo was very clean. Needs a few things fixed, sliding glass doors and toilet seat but other than that it was perfect!

Very nice unit

Condo was nice, recently updated. Was there for 5 weeks and no issues. Only negative thing was with the resort itself, it appears as if people that aren’t actually staying at the resort come and get guest parking passes and just use the pool. Saw this happen every day and it didn’t seem like they have any way to prevent it. Made the pool very crowded and hard to get chairs and they let the spring break crowd get pretty wild. Would like to see them fix that, but overall we enjoyed the dtay.
