Great place to stay for those looking to relax in a sparse area, yet be close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Mountain driving to and from can be a bit sticky if you're not used to it, but cabin is perfect. Great customer service from David.
Lovely house, very clean and well stocked with activities. Playing Pac-Man with friends was nostalgic and the views from the patio and hot tub are very nice.
This place is a great place to stay for a big family or large group. Its very accommodating for people with children since there is a bedroom with a bunk bed and a twin bed that has games of all kinds to keep them busy while your there. The house was clean and the hot tub was very well maintained.
We had such a great time during out stay. The board games, arcade games, and hot tub were fun for our whole family of 5 and my in-laws. It was just a short drive to hiking trails to see waterfalls and to downtown Gatlinburg. We just had a short weekend stay but definitely plan to book here for a longer stay.
We had an amazing stay! Hosts pay attention to detail with many amenities. We traveled during Christmas and really loved the added Christmas decorations around the house. House was very clean and we enjoyed the hot tub! Would stay again!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay in the gorgeous autumn mountains and enjoyed this lovely, cozy house and soothing hot tub. It's near Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Tuckaleechee Caverns, and the Smoky Mountain National Park. The hosts were great, and the views awesome!
We had a family of 5 stay in this cabin for a week. The cabin was exactly as described. Loved the hot tub, cornhole and outdoor rocking chairs. Used the grill and had everything and then some in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean up in arrival. Remote location but yet only 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge and about 15 to Gatlinburg
Nice house off the beaten path made it easy to relax after a busy day seeing the sites in Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg. House is as shown in the pics, would stay there again. Communication with/from host was great and check in/out easy.
It was a lovely house!! The hot tub was hot and clean!! We saw a bear right below our bedroom deck. The yard for my service dog was fenced in. The host wax always responsive to my questions
Tucked away in the mountains along a gravel road, Dreamer's Ridge provided a relaxing place for our family during our visit. We planned various day trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (Ripley's Aquarium, Anakeesta, The Island, walking through lots of shops, petting zoo, and short hikes) - all within about 30 minutes. It was always nice to come back to this retreat to cook a nice evening meal, relax in the hot tub, play games, and watch Christmas movies. With 7 adults and one child, we definitely filled the space! The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen met our culinary needs.
We enjoyed our stay at Dreamers Ridge and are grateful for the many extras that are included like the coffee/hot cocoa station, hot tub, Netflix access, as well as indoor/outdoor family-friendly games. It was covenient to cook our own meals with a variety of cookware options and a large crockpot. The bunk bed room was tight quarters for 3 kids and the shower stall in the master bath was also a tight fit but we made it all work with a little family flexibility. The owner was friendly and responded quickly to questions. The house was more remote than we realized, but we appreciated the views!
We visited the area for one last getaway before the kids head back to school. This home was beautiful! Extremely clean and well laid out. The decor and furnishings were clean, well put together and had clean lines. Hard to explain, but the details and upkeep made the place feel bright and clean. And it smelled so nice too! We were all comfortable during our stay. Plenty of room for everyone to sit for dinners, the bedrooms were set up nicely and the beds were comfortable. I liked that the living room was offset from the kitchen and dining room. Was nice to have dinner and games without competition with a tv lol (if you have older kids, you know). The neighborhood/location was a very quiet, wooded area. Easy to find and wasnât hard to get back into town for groceries and water park. The view I would describe as primarily wooded with peak of mountain. The porch was nice to sit on and enjoy the mountain air and quiet. We did not use the hot tub, but it was in a neat location.
The owner was easy to communicate with and directions for check in/out were clear and simple to follow.
Overall we loved our stay here! It was just what we needed to relax before starting into a new school year.
We stayed 5 nights and 6 days with 3 adults and 3 children.
Pros: The house is spacious and the beds were incredibly comfy. The kitchen was big enough to seat everyone comfortably and we had what we needed to make simple meals. Everyone had something in their rooms to keep them entertained.
Cons: The carpet in the main bedroom needs to be replaced, random holes and stains that are permanent. The drive to this property is the absolute worst I have ever stayed at, and we come up here yearly. It is really a one lane road and in desperate need of new gravel poured since it feels like a wagon road. There was heavy construction the whole time we were there and my car was sideswipped by a white construction truck that had not one care to try to share the road and I have a long white scratch down my car.I know there is no controlling others as a property manager, but felt this needed to be included in an honest review for another's consideration.
Would give 5 stars if not for roads.
Property was exactly as listed. Loved the fact there were 3 bedrooms and each had their own bathroom. We didnât use the hot tub but it was nice having the option. I did use the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom as it was needed after whitewater rafting. Plenty of amenities and cooking utensils. The living room tv remote wasnât working upon arrival but it got replaced before we left but it wasnât needed much as we were away from the cabin a lot.
The drive wasnât bad as the only non-paved portion was only about 1/2 mile. It is about 25 minutes from the cabin to Sieverville or Pigeon Forge so I would advise to try to limit your trips to and from the cabin.
Weather was warm but overall very nice. It did rain BUCKETS the last day we were there (about 5â in a 12 hour span). That being said, the roads drained quickly. We did lose power twice over that span but each time was less than 90 minutes. We canât control Mother Nature so we just go with the flow.
I did notice that neighboring cabins up there seem to have generators that kicked on when power went out so that would be my only suggestion on improving the cabin even if it meant paying extra per day. Like I said, very minimal and âfirst world problemsâ LOL
David is a great owner and was always quick to respond to questions. If you are looking for a great property and owner, this checks BOTH boxes. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the country!!
