Perched on a hillside within the renowned Finca Los Monos Botanical Garden, Casa Botanica is a private tropical estate just 130m from the beach and minutes from Bocas Town. It consists of three separate living spaces spread throughout the property and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. The property can sleep up to 10 guests upon request by adding the sofa bed and loft bedroom at a reduced supplementary rate.

Your stay includes our 6-seater golf cart at no additional charge, giving you the freedom to explore Bocas del Toro at your own pace, from beaches and restaurants to town and everything in between. Each morning, enjoy a freshly prepared chef breakfast served in-house, complete with coffee, juice, and your choice of a rotating continental breakfast menu. Best of all, there's no shopping, cooking, or cleaning up to worry about—just sit back and enjoy.

The estate features a private pool, fire pit, botanical gardens, jungle trails, ocean-view mezzanine, and multiple indoor-outdoor living areas designed for gathering, relaxing, and reconnecting with nature.

6-Seater Golf Cart:
Your stay includes use of the Casa Botanica 6-seater golf cart at no additional charge, giving your group the freedom and flexibility to explore Bocas del Toro with ease.
From heading into Bocas Town for dinner to visiting the beach or exploring the island at your own pace, having your own golf cart makes getting around simple and convenient. Please note the complimentary golf cart seats a maximum of 6 guests. For groups of 7-10, alternative transport may occasionally be required, and this has already been reflected in our pricing.

The Space

Casa Botanica consists of three separate living spaces spread throughout the property and is priced for up to 8 guests. Additional sleeping for up to 10 guests is available on request using the sofa bed. The sofa bed and the loft bedroom are both offered at a reduced rate.

1. Main Villa & Master Suite

The main villa features a spacious open-plan kitchen with a large eat-in island, living area with sofa bed, full bathroom, workspace, and a large covered deck with outdoor dining. Across a covered walkway is the private master suite with an ensuite bathroom and its own covered deck.
Together, these spaces sleep up to 4 guests with the sofa bed as an added option that requires a special request.

2. Ocean View Mezzanine

Above the main villa sits one of Casa Botanica's most unique spaces: a stunning open-air, double-storey mezzanine with sweeping views across the botanical gardens, rainforest canopy, and ocean beyond.
Designed to embrace the tropical climate and surrounding nature, this elevated retreat is filled with comfortable lounge seating, oversized sofas, and cosy chairs, making it the perfect place to read, practise yoga, enjoy sunset cocktails, watch wildlife, or simply relax with the cooling ocean breeze.
At the rear of the mezzanine you'll find a charming mini-bar with a small fridge and bar seating overlooking the jungle, perfect for sunset drinks or a quiet morning coffee.
Upstairs is an open-air double bedroom with a dedicated workspace, allowing guests to wake up surrounded by birdsong and nature.

The loft bedroom is an optional room offered at a reduced rate reflected in the pricing after 6 guests, as it does not have an attached bathroom. Guests staying here use the bathroom in the main villa or master suite.

3. Studio Casitas

Each studio sleeps 2 guests and can be configured with either a king bed or twin beds. Both feature an ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, workspace, wardrobe, and private covered deck.
The property's multiple buildings create a wonderful balance of togetherness and privacy, making it ideal for larger families, retreats, and groups of friends.
