Home in Mill Spring/Hendersonville no Hurricane damage
This house is close to Hendersonville and Asheville but is in an area not impacted by the hurricane. Would be an ideal base for displaced families. The house is very well equipped for people who have had to evacuate their homes. Owner had another home in Bat Cave that was completely destroyed so has some level of understanding of the deep loss in the community. Amazing opportunity to stay in a stunning, modern trendy Lake House, with direct water access set in 3 acres of a private forest. Beautiful home, lovingly decorated with comfort, style and fun in mind. The house easily accommodates 8 guests, and is the perfect space inside and out for gathering and making memories anytime of the year. This waterfront home is both secluded and close to many of the local attractions including Lake Lure, Saluda, Tryon International Equestrian Center, Hendersonville, the annual Apple Festival and Asheville.
What a beautiful, relaxing place! The house was absolutely perfect. The view and lake access really make it special. I also loved the layout of the houseâit was a perfect arrangement for our family (two bedrooms upstairs, two downstairs). Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property!
It was a very relaxing and fun few days at the lake enjoyed with friends, family and our four legged friends. The house and dock are absolutely perfect and the sunsets were spactactular. Hated to leave and will most definetly be back! A fantastic time was all by all! This is the perfect lake getaway.
Although we did not need the extensive space this house has, it was a great setup and well kept. Our contact was easy to get via text. Very private location and easy access to the lake. I can imagine this is a great place in the summer time. I recommend this place to anyone. Priced well. Equipped well. Easy Checkout.
Everything was beautiful just as shown. We had a great time, the serenity was wonderful. I definitely would recommend. My cons are: no iron? and dock to the lake has a pontoon permanently moored to it. Seeing the boat there was the biggest issue for me. If your not interested in water/fishing activities its perfect.
This is a beautiful and peaceful property on the lake. Well stocked and very clean and comfortable;however, the dock has a pontoon boat moored to it obstructing your view and presents some challenges with swimming from the dock. This should be made clear to renters in the description of the lake property.
Hospitality personified! This home is so welcoming and helped our friendship in faith weekend to be forever memorable. The pictures you see are exactly what youâll encounter. Well appointed, stocked with every need, and situated in beauty. Very close to many POI - Chimney Rock, Garden Bridge etc.
Clare provides a fabulous list of favorites including places to dine and shop. Plans to return are very likely. đđ
There is an easy comfortability staying at this beautiful property. There is never a moment of "I'm bored!" Our kids are 13 and 17, they loved the lake and just exploring outside, or taking a small break to use electronics (great wifi). We never had to say get off your phone! The minute we walked outdoors, they were usually right behind us ready to take a walk or swim. Truly a wonderful family vacation. We will be back.
This is an amazing lake house! The view of the lake through the wall of windows when you walk in is glorious! Lots of natural light and a nice sized family room. As a family we tend to cook and graze most of the day and eat out for one meal. This house has a delightfully well appointed, room kitchen and there is an excellent, clean Ingles grocery store about 15 minutes down the road.
The beds slept great and if you didn't want to view the lake from the couch, just a 10 second walk down the path to the dock puts you in the middle of a peaceful setting by water.
The house is located close to a variety of locations for hiking and fun. We spent the day at Chimney Rock and had a great time!
YES YES YES we would stay again.
I am a married mother of 4 children, who emigrated to the US from England 15 years ago. I am a passionate cook, love the outdoors, partial to soft furnishings and a glass of delicious red wine.
From the moment you enter the neighborhood you just know this is a special place and quite unlike many mountain communities. Fully paved roads throughout, perfectly manicured landscaping that blends seamlessly into the forest and lake. Bubbling creek and deer on every corner.
