Experience this rustic, renovated cabin with vaulted ceilings at the Basecamp Lodge - the perfect year-round home for exploring Mt Shasta. A one-of-a-kind restored chalet-style cedar cabin features modern finishings and spacious accommodations. Sip your coffee on the private deck watching the sunrise over Mt Shasta! Craft a meal in the fully-stocked kitchen, relax in the hammocks & adirondack chairs, eat at the picnic tables and watch the alpenglow light up Mt Shasta - the view is incredible.

This detached studio cabin has it all - vaulted ceilings, cathedral cedar beams, floor to ceiling windows with views of Mt Shasta from bed, the dining table, living room, and the front porch! Sip your coffee on the private front deck and watch the sunrise over Mt Shasta. Mountain modern finishings with updated kitchen and bathroom, new lighting, paint and furnishings throughout while maintaining the rustic beauty of this cedar lodge. Includes brand new super comfy beds (King bed & daybed with trundle) and 4k HD TV! Lightning fast WiFi with 500 mb speeds and 2-car off street parking is included.

Kitchen has all the essentials if you're inclined to make a meal, enjoy the complimentary coffee and tea.

Head outside to the Adirondack chairs and hammocks to relax, sip your coffee and watch the sunrise over Mt Shasta or gaze at the stars. Grill on the outdoor gas BBQ's, eat a meal on one of the picnic tables or play a game on the corn hole set. The courtyard is lit with cafe string lights and wall sconces.

Our place is perfect for families, friends, couples, solo adventurers and business travelers.

***There are 10-cabins in this lodge - this cabin does not share any walls with other cabins and sits above a garage that stores cleaning supplies.***

House Rules:
1. No Smoking or vaping inside or outside (this includes marijuana).
2. No Unregistered Guests: This is not a place to host friends or family who are not registered and staying at this home.
3. Quiet hours are from 10pm - 7am. Please be considerate of the shared space and our neighbors.
4. No Pets allowed.

It was so peaceful and beautiful with an amazing view of Mount Shasta! The cabin we stayed in was really nice, comfortable bed and cozy couch to enjoy a movie on the tv in the evenings, which they have plenty of apps avaliable, like Netflix, to use. We especially loved sitting on the porch at night enjoying a glass of wine and the ambience of the stringed lights they have up in the shared courtyard. It's also peaceful sitting out there in the mornings with tea and coffee. Definitely keeping this place on our list to visit again!

Great location

This is a great property that has amazing views of Mount Shasta from the front door. This location is extremely convenient for many hiking trails on Mount Shasta and to some nearby waterfalls. Cabin 1 is detached from the rest of the buildings on the property, giving it the most privacy. Will definitely stay again when in this area.

The cabin exceeded our expectations!!! It was even better than the photos in the listing. It was cozy, streamlined and very private. We had breakfast outside every morning with a view that was second to none! Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Idyllic Studio in Mt Shasta

This was a perfect spot for us for a few days! It is as beautiful as the photos and an unbelievable view. The kitchen is nicely outfitted for use. We also walked into town or it’s only a few minutes drive. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have stayed at Basecamp Lodge - and we will keep coming back. We stayed in Cabin 5 last time, Cabin 1 this tine. These cabins are easy to find and access, clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. The property manager is friendly and responsive.Highly recommend!!!b

3 nights in Mt Shasta

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. All the appliances were in excellent order, lots of utensils in the kitchen, beds were comfortable. We also used one of the very nice gas BBQ grills outside. The location is very quiet, except for some traffic on the street outside early in the morning. Our host was very responsive, check in and out instructions were very clear.

Comfortable Tranquility

The Hosts earned our high praise for clearly delivering an ideal package of well managed quality lodging throughout our stay in Cabin #1. Their pride in ownership shines through along with gracious respect towards their guests. They communicated promptly and clearly to make check-in/out easy, and followed up to ask if we needed anything. Our visit left good memories, and our neighbors have already booked a stay, plus other friends intend to book soon. It is a true pleasure to experience such a quality property at a very fair price!

Overall it was a nice place. There was a staircase next to the room, that could not be accessed from the room, and there was continuous activity, running up and down stairs, which was annoying. One thing I found odd was there was a door from the room to this staircase, but I could not use it, and could see no reason for it being there, plus it have a big window, so anyone going up and down the stairs, which was a lot, could look into the room? There was no other reason for it to be there? I was also treated rudely when I went out into the common area, and looked at the BBQ grills. A woman came out and said those are privately owned grills like I am supposed to know that. I have no idea what's available and was not appreciative of the rude encounter, as a paying customer. I can only assume it was the property owner, who I never met, and can only assume that the people running up and down the stairs, with a clear view into the room, were the owners, ot the owners kids?

Lovely Christmas in Mt Shasta

My partner and I had a wonderful and cozy stay here in Mount Shasta over the holidays. Internet was great for remote work and the location is a clean & lovely homebase for enjoying the area’s winter sports and scenery. Really convenient having a kitchen to cook meals in too. Thanks Christian!
