The unit was well stocked for eating in, well appointed and has a great beach view. Security was monitoring everything which was a good sign. Loved the private pier! The only issue was the cleanliness in the unit- of the floors, and toilets. The floors were disgustingly dirty, and I had to mop every floor because our shoes stuck as we walked over the surface and bare/ sock covered feet got disgusting filthy. Even after mopping our feet still got dirty. (When we got home I could not get our socks white and I tried everything!) I also cleaned the oven since we dropped some food in it, and the back wall of the oven had lots of baked on grime. All in all the unit was very nice but next time I would bring shoes specifically for use in the unit so I wouldn’t have to constantly wash my feet and or ruin socks. The toilets started getting black streaks in them mid-week, which means they had not been cleaned recently. The unit may not have been rented before we got there and perhaps the cleaning crew thought they didn’t have to do much, but it was obvious things were skipped.
