Very private vacation home with view of the hills,
One of the luxury feature of our place is the convenience of our parking space. The 3 rooms with bath of this 6 room guest house is part of 3/4 acre compound or estate type property. 4th bedroom when ready is an option that can be available to rent for 2 more guest. We live in the rolling hills area of Hacienda Heights. This house & our house right next door and most homes in this area are further away from the neighbors. Neighborhood is safe, quiet and great for walks. View of the surrounding valley. The main house where we live sits next door. Front yard, long driveway and backyard is big and fully landscaped. Thru request we have an available workout area or small gym/lounge area with 70"TV and small refrigerator and microwave oven.

The property is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. It was a beautiful place to stay. We spent most of our time in the back yard looking at the mountains. We truly hope to come back again!
Utilized for graduation celebration. The location was convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. The view from the property was nice at night. The house is spacious.
This property was perfect for us, we had a group of softball players in town for the week to play in a tournament. There was plenty of parking and room for all the families. The owner/host was very helpful and responsive to whatever we needed. I highly recommend this place.

My one concern I had using VRBO for the first time was not knowing what the neighborhood was going to be like. This place did not let me down. The house was on a hill overlooking the town and it was beautiful. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet. Herman is a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. This is our yearly trip to LA and I will look for Herman's place from now on.
Herman was so accommodating towards our group! He really went out of his way to ensure we had a good time. The property was extremely clean with adequate cooking utensils and kitchen essentials, as well as bathroom toiletries and towels.
The house is located in a nice quiet part of the city, with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Very comfortable home to relax in after a day of dealing with L.A. traffic.
Herman is a wonderful host. The home is neat, clean, organized and spacious. The garden is lovely and the view from the back is beautiful. Plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy everything, too. It's a nice area in the hills, safe & quiet. We had a great stay & wouldn't hesitate to book again if we were in that area!
Our family of 5 (with 3 adult kids) enjoyed the spaciousness of the property & having 3 bathrooms. We paid an additional fee to have access to the 4th bedroom, and it was worth it! The towels & linens smelled fresh & clean; and the entire property was well-kept. We appreciated the owner bringing in an additional cooling unit for the living room which did a great job keeping the temperature comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. If we come back to this area, this will be the first place weâll look to stay.
I am a retired software engineer. During my working years I work as a specialist/project manager in design development and maintenance of huge systems for major corporations. I also owned a software consulting firm with major corporation as a client for ten years My second career is designing /building custom homes or just remodeling for me and my daughters. Landscape gardening, home maintenance, design/manage home building for my daughters is my primary interest and where I spend and enjoy my retirement years.
Privacy and feeling of an open space are what separates us from the other house from the moment you drive into the property. You will feel this as soon as you drive in the property. Our super convenient parking is one of the best feature of this house. The lot is big and further away from the neighbors. Property has a very private long driveway, big front yard and backyard with view of the hills. Two rooms are bigger. Family room (250 sq ft) dining area and kitchen is big and open. The house is 200 feet from the street and very private. Our main house and this house sits in 3/4 of an acre. We live in this property for over 35 years.
Located in the hills of a better than average neighborhood. in the greater Los Angeles area. Very convenient easy to maneuver parking space like that of a luxury estate. Neighborhood is safe, quiet and great for walks. Another parking space if needed also inside the property. Parking for small light trailer can also be an option. We live right beside this 5 bedroom 2 lounge area guest house so we can attend immediately to our guests need.
