We enjoyed this quiet stay in the mountains, Jason is very responsive which is always nice when staying on a property for vacation. We liked walking around the neighborhood and seeing the deer that roamed around.
We could not have loved this cabin more. We had everything we needed. The host was always quick to respond to questions. And the views are amazing. Would highly recommend.
This house was amazing the veiws quite relaxing beds were comfortable plenty of space wild life and close enough to all kinds of things to do surrounded by water so you can gonfish swimming rent a boat homeowner was excellent in responding back gave us great idea of places to go property and house was very clean
We had a great stay at this Smoky Mountain cabin. The cabin was much more spacious than we expected and had all the necessities for us to enjoy our stay. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking/rafting. Short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was easy and we saw turkeys and deer every day. The amount of things to do in Tennessee was amazing. I was expecting to run out of activities, but was surprised by breadth of activities available. This area is a collage of beach town, Las Vegas, and the great outdoors all mixed together. Didn't see a single mosquito all week, even on 6.5 mile hike to Rainbow Falls. Open porch at the cabin was so relaxing. The screened in porch was great at keeping bugs out of the hot tub and grilling. Pool table and room with huge windows was a great hangout area all week. Bear came and visited three days in a row. He/she was able to open the bear box on the first night, but the following two nights I set it up so when he tried to get into the box, it would make noise and let us know to scare it away before we were picking up trash in the woods again. Owner was super responsive/helpful. Table was huge and we had fun playing Dutch Blitz after a long day of activities. King beds in all the rooms was clutch. Nobody fighting over beds. Three bathrooms also helped ease tensions of who was getting what room. So cozy! I would definitely rent this place again! Photos do not do the place justice.
We had a 4 night stay with the family to celebrate my parent's 60th anniversary. The cabin was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, and the bedrooms were spacious with comfortable mattresses. If you need anything, Jayson is quick to respond. If you are looking to enjoy time on the lake or just hang out in the Smokies for a while, I would definitely recommend.
Our Tennessee Smokey Mountain vacation was an exciting time.
Our experience with renting this property was awesome. The owner was available for questions before our visit and was very friendly. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. I would recommend this cabin for rental.. my family and I made lots of memories..
We had an excellent stay. The property was amazing with awesome views. The Cabin/House was very comfortable and well appointed. The owner was fantastic. Several communications from him before during and after our stay to ensure things were going well. I highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to visit the greater Smokey Mountains Douglas Lake area.
Such a wonderful home! Had the coziness of home with amazing Mountain Viewâs! My youngest kids (8yo, 10yo) throughly enjoyed sitting on the swing watching the view and the pool table! Older two enjoyed the hot tub after a long day! We even had an authentic mountain vacation where we lost power for about 24 hours and the owner Jason was absolutely wonderful keeping us updated. We didnât mind as there were lots to do in the area and the sounds of the hills were fabulous. Would definitely stay again as it was spacious and cozy at the same time!! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful property! đđ
Place was as advertised and super nice! We stayed for a fishing tournament on Douglas Lake and we were able to squeeze 5 trucks and boats in the driveway with some maneuvering but it worked out well! Inside was nice with 4 king bedrooms, nice living and kitchen area. Had everything we needed and more! Hot tub was an added plus as well!
Nice place. Everyone had a great time. Only constructive feedback that I would add is in the downstairs full bath would be to add in some safety bars for the elderly/handicap to be able to grab for stability.
I highly recommend this location. It is beautiful. The owner is awesome. Our vacation was an adventure as we are not used to the snow. But this neighborhood is full of some of the best people who were so friendly and helpful. Such a great cabin.
The drive to the property was easy and loved that the road was paved all the way. Once we arrived the view from the gorgeous wrap around porch is stunning. Inside plenty of space for our large group. Nice to have a bathroom for every bedroom. Jason had a Christmas Tree up which was absolutely fantastic! Enjoyed the fireplace in the evening, hot tub and of course the pool table.
If we head back to the area we will definitely book this wonderful cabin.
10 of us spanning 3 generations spent a week at Jasonâs cabin. We had plenty of room to cook, eat together, play games and spread out! Everyone of us were comfy and enjoyed our time there. Jason was very quick to respond to questions, etc. We spent a couple days on the lake in a rented pontoon boat and a jet ski! We spent another couple days in Gaitlenberg and Pigeon Forge. Lots of fun, good food at the Sunrise Diner (ask for Michael!), Magic Quest was a lot of fun too!
Our family would definitely come back here!! Thank you Jason!
This was a wonderful place to stay with Douglas Lake activities nearby, Pigeon Forge, and Smoky Mountain views and activities. The cabin is great! The host was extremely informative and maintained great contact before, during, and after the trip. Highly recommend this rental.
We are originally from RI but now live in Charleston SC. I grew up with my family taking us to so many National Parks as a kid and the memories made are wonderful for families. I love the mountains and the water and wanted to find a vacation home that had the best of both! Dandridge/ Lake Douglas was a dream come true. It is also close to all the things that my family loved from many vacations to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Such wonderful places to map out any family vacation! We hope our guests can make this cabin their own home during their stay to relax and enjoy with family and friends as they plan exciting day excursions. You may also want to just sleep in each day , take in fresh mountain air and beautiful views (Mountain and Lake) and abundant wildlife to get away from it all for a while! Dandridge is also a really quaint old TN town. I love the Tinsley-Bible Drug Store where you can go back to 1950 for an ice cream soda counter and breakfast booths. So much to love about this cabin and location aside from the obvious marina's, boating, fishing, and tourist attractions nearby (Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, National Park, etc.). We hope you love this area as much as we do. As new management/ owners we are also dedicated to making this experience as perfect as possible for our guests. Most Sincerely, The O'Hare Family!!!
Location âŠ. Near one of the USs most popular lakes (Douglas)⊠close to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood and National Park but away from the traffic / no light pollution up there. Starry skies and relaxation .
Boat / camper parking is not always easy on the mountains. This cabin has excellent roads into the development, is private on top of the ridge but great spacious parking on a private drive up to a larger. cabin and car port with endless views.
