First time staying and perfect for family of 8 including one child 8yrs old. Matched online listing: a very cute, fresh-looking beach house in one of the prettiest areas, very clean, clutter-free inside and outside areas, Thoughtful and generous touches. Everything worked. Owners very communicative, friendly and easy all around! We have been coming to the area for over 40 years as a family and this is one of the best!

It was a great property. It was a very enjoyable walk to the beach, boardwalk, and shops. The house was clean and well maintained and very enjoyable. The beach chairs, kids wagon, and sand toys were a very welcome addition. Great place! Would definitely stay again

Wonderful stay

We had a group of 9 friends enjoying Bethany for a 50th birthday and this house was perfect. The location was amazing…easy to walk to the beach and shops. The house was clean and very spacious. We hope to come back for a visit again!

A Fantastic Intro to Bethany Beach

This was my family's first visit to Bethany Beach and we could not have chosen a better or more beautiful home and location. The Wellington Parkway rental had everything we needed: the home was spotless, the block was perfect--just a short walk to the beach, the top deck was ideal for "happy hour" and the main floor, screened porch was perfect for dinner. I am already looking forward to a return visit. Many thanks to our gracious hosts for opening their lovely home to us!

Beautiful home very close to the beach and town!

I spent 3 nights in the early fall at this property with my parents, my two sisters and our husbands. It was a wonderful home, just a short, easy walk to the beach and the town. We loved both the screened in porch as well as the porch on top of the house where we could see the ocean. We didn't do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen was well equipped to make the dinner and lunches that I prepared. We would definitely stay at this home again. We all loved the location and it was very comfortable!

Great location, great house

This house was a complete gem!! The location was wonderful, a short walk to everything. The house was roomy, clean and bright. Kitchen was well equipped and the property owners were just a phone call away. The communication with them was always quick and easy. The neighbors/neighborhood was great, very friendly! We enjoyed ourselves very much and will certainly try to book it again for our next girls trip!

Great location but unreasonable host

We really enjoyed our week at the beach and loved the short walk to the beach. We had to leave a poor rating for an unreasonable host who sent a long list of charges after we checked out. A couple of the items we understood but most of the charges we felt were unreasonable such as leaving lights on, lint in dryer, one bathroom trash can wasn’t emptied, fridge wasn’t scrubbed on the inside, a comforter was left on floor. It seems that’s they don’t have a cleaning service or charge renters for things that are usually covered by these services.

Best place on VRBO

Can't thank Bob and Mary Pat enough for sharing their home with us. We rented their amazing home for our semi-annual girls weekend and it was beyond our expectations. This was beyond a doubt the cleanest home that we have ever stayed in, not just at the beach but any of the other VRBO homes that we have stayed in over the years. And that was just the beginning. Their home is beautifully appointed in every detail, from the fully stocked kitchen to the little extras, (little body lotions and bath washes in the bathrooms). The furnishings are all so comfortable they looked and felt brand new right down to the carpets. The beds and bedding (pillows and spreads) were very comfortable, looked and felt brand new. The living room and sun room each have recliners in them and the living room furniture looks and feels brand new. This home is so well taken care of we almost wondered if it was thier every day home. Tons of storage for all of your snacks and anything else that you want to bring. The description does not do this home justice, it is perfect in every way. Short walk to the beach, and down town. Even for a group of senior citizens. The communication with Bob was great, we called with a question and he was so helpful. We definitely will be staying here again. If we could give this home 100 stars we would. We can't wait to come back. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful weekend!

great Bethany beach house

The weather did not cooperate, but this spot was ideal - a block away from the beach and 3 blocks in to downtown bethany. beds were comfortable, fans in every room, a nice outdoor shower and plenty of space.

Family Wedding - Short Stay

The house was in the perfect location for my niece’s wedding in Bethany. There was plenty of space and parking for my family and my sisters family. It was lovely being able to walk to the beach in our off time. There were so many amenities and was close to stores and Grottos. I hope that I can stay there again.

Wonderful stay!

This property was the perfect place for our girls getaway weekend. The location is great - convenient walking distance to the beach and town - on a beautiful street. The house is lovely and was well laid out for us with plenty of amenities - we especially enjoyed sharing our meals out on the screened porch. Plenty of bedrooms and the showers had great water pressure and lots of hot water. Bob and Mary Pat were gracious hosts and available for questions and information. We would recommend this property to any families and friends looking for a great place to spend time in Bethany!
