Just want to start off by saying the place is beautiful! I was very excited when we first got there. After a long 6 hour drive, my girls and I were looking forward to getting into the hot tub. There was no water in it. I was given instructions on how to fill it and heat it up. After filling it, it drained again so I had to find the breaker and shut it off. Donât feel like I should have had to do that. Someone came the next day to fix it, but that, overall, was disappointing. Then, the thermostat to the cabin was set on cold before we got there and we found out the hard way when we woke up and it was 51 degrees in there. My girls and I were freezing. It took me putting the heat on, the fireplace, and opening the oven, that I set at 450, to get it warmed up enough to shower in 2.5 hours. I mentioned to the owner that there was only the thin comforter and a throw for the couch. I asked for more blankets and was told that I could purchase one and she would reimburse me. Not my responsibility and this upset me even further, after dealing with the other issues. Next, I noticed that they didnât have many dishes to use. Come to find out, they did, but they were all dirty in the dishwasher from someone else!! And the dishwasher didnât even work. There was sticky stuff on the laundry room floor, the tv was smeared, no pillow case on one of the pillows, and the bed was kind of hard. All these last things I wouldnât even mention if I didnât have all of the other issues. Iâve stayed at places not as nice or as pricey as this one and gave them 5 stars and a good review! This was all just disappointing overall. Iâm just thankful that our activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg were amazing!!
