Private home - 10 acres with Whitefish River frontage. Great central location!

Relax on our deck, in front of the fireplace, or in the jetted bathtub after a day of enjoying the many activities the Flathead Valley offers. You can also grab a couple collapsible chairs or beach towels and walk the trails to the Whitefish River and relax on the bank, wet a line, or jump in to cool down.

Our beautiful home is nestled on 10 wooded acres which offers wildlife viewing and trails to the Whitefish River. The house is 3.2 miles from downtown Whitefish shopping & restaurants, 4 miles from Whitefish Lake for beaches & boating, 9 miles from Whitefish Mountain Resort (Big Mtn: for skiing/mountian biking, 13 miles to Kalispell, 21 miles to the west entrance of Glacier National Park, 21 miles to Flathead Lake and surrounded by many Flathead Valley golf courses, snowmobile & off road rentals, horse riding ranches, rodeo arenas, etc.

The main floor is an open living concept with master suite, powder room, kitchen/dining, great room with TV & electric fireplace & sliding door to deck and laundry on this level. The kitchen is equipped with place settings for 8, a full set of pots/pans, bakeware, coffee pot, cooking utensils, spice rack and condiments. The eat in kitchen counter seats six, there is an additonal table for 2-4 more and tables/chairs on deck and front porch. The master bedroom has Cal King bed, TV, desk, sliding door to access the deck and en suite full bath with two sink vanity, jetted tub that fits two adults and large walk-in shower.

Downstairs you will find another room to gather with TV, wet bar, mini refrigerator, sliding door to access back patio, two bedrooms with black out shades and a full bath with two sink vanity.

If you want silence, shut the windows and the house is soundproof!

The large circle driveway will accommodate at least one boat, RV, and a couple cars. There is a detached garage but is not included with rental.

If you are planning an outing to any of the many scenic spots, we will provide bear spay, a cooler and a couple beach chairs.

The property is located on the Whitefish River. In the summer, you can rent inflatables or bring your own, launch in the city of Whitefish and float/paddle your way back to the property! The boat "take out" is located on Hwy 40 a couple hundred feet east of our driveway. (If you make it a lazy float, it can take 2-3 hours. The scenery/wildlife is amazing on the river and there are no rapids.)

Great house, great location!

A group of five friends stayed in this house for a week and enjoyed everything that glacier national Park had to offer. This house is exceptionally located to dining, shopping, and the parks west entrance. The house itself is a great set up for a group. The interior is well designed, updated, and very comfortable. The property manager provided exceptional service to us, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. We had a couple of issues upon arrival that were resolved quickly. The beds were comfortable, the master suite was a great way to spend a vacation as it provided an updated bathroom experience. Comp prepared to disconnect from the world as the Wi-Fi isnt great in this area. We thoroughly enjoyed the deer that came through the backyard every night around sundown! The whitefish river behind the home was an excellent way to spend time in the water in a very private setting. It is only a short 10 minute journey to get there from the house.

Comfortable home in great location.

Loved this secluded home between White Fish and Columbia Falls. It had everything we needed. We saw several deer, a wolf, and hummingbirds from the deck. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet beautiful home

We had a great time staying in this beautiful home while we attended a wedding nearby. The property manager is close by and very responsive in the event we needed anything. Everything was very clean and made the whole experience enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again in the future

Fantastic house and very friendly host

We just stayed at the house this week while visiting Glacier Park. You won't go wrong staying here. Close to the town of Whitefish, close to restaurants, ice cream, and groceries. The house is spotless, great kitchen and bathroom. The master shower is amazing and huge. Separate toilet room from rest of bathroom. There's also a powder room next to the laundry room/mud room. There's a deep jacuzzi tub to soak in. The basement has a sitting area with wet bar, tv, couch, and 2 bedrooms. Very nice bathroom in lower level connected to the bedroom. We saw deer in the back of the house while we sat on the deck, as well as the field along the driveway. Bedroom sliding glass door gave us a perfect view of the full moon and lit up the entire bedroom! This week was exceedingly hot, but the house was so cool and comfortable. I'm in love with the hardwood floors. They were so sturdy and quiet to walk on. Just a beautiful vacation house. We had a very nice stay and we cannot wait to come back!!

Very nice place

The place was very nice and in great condition. I appreciate that there was bear spray for us to borrow, and all the little extras that made life a little easier while there. There was good communication as well. The only thing that made us a little apprehension was the number of rules. I totally understand why they are necessary, but for rule followers that make you a little anxious about messing something up. My mom usually cooks breakfast each morning but decided not to because she was worried about messing something up. Unfortunately, people who need the rules won’t read or follow them. Either way, it was a great place that was clean and very nice. We had a great vacation.

Great location near Glacier

Lovely new home with very well stocked kitchen. 30 minute drive to Glacier National Park and also 10 minutes from downtown Whitefish. Large master suite and 2 more bedrooms. There are stairs down to the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Wildlife watching from the deck: deer and hummingbirds. We had a lovely time

Great Getaway

Beautiful property!!! Kim-property manager and Tracie -the owner were great to work with. The house was well laid out, kitchen was well stocked, check-in/check-out was a breeze. It is very centrally located for Glacier, Kalispell, Columbia Falls and Whitefish. The view was of a meadow and trees. A couple of things to note-there is no view of the Whitefish River from the property, however you do have access to it, you are on a major road so you do hear traffic all day and night especially since the downstairs has no a/c and you have the windows open. No A/C downstairs was not an issue -as it stayed really cool with the windows open, One other thing for families -there is no large dining table -just a bar with barstools. Seating was not an issue but there was nowhere to play games for 5 adults. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Our stay at the residence was exactly what we needed. It was a roomy and comfortable house that gave us plenty of space and a great kitchen to make meals. The location allowed us access to GNP and local towns for a variety of outings.

This property was located perfectly between Glacier National Park and Whitefish MT. After spending a day at the park it was nice to go into Whitefish and enjoy a good meal. Would defiantly stay again.

Gorgeous home

One of the most beautiful homes we’ve stayed of VRBO’s properties. The deck is gorgeous and we saw a baby deer fawn grazing right outside the back. I highly recommend!

This was a wonderful house for three adult couples. Privacy, space, and comfort were all 5 stars. Some traffic noise could be heard from Hwy 40, but not while inside. Great deck, kitchen. Close to Whitefish, and a reasonable drive to Glacier NP: best of both worlds. Finally: easy contact with house manager Kim and host Tracie.

Great house, convenient location!

This house & location served our needs well as we were a group of 5 friends (one couple & 3 singles) going to Glacier. The couple shared the master on the first floor & the 3 friends shared the downstairs (2 bedrooms & 1 bath). The house is modern & spacious. Beds were super comfortable, bathrooms were very nice & the kitchen was well appointed. The washer & dryer were also very nice to have access to. The mosquitoes made it hard to enjoy the outside amenities (balcony & creek) but we were gone all day exploring Glacier so not a big deal. The homeowner does have some very particular house rules (all very doable to follow) but you may want to inquire about them to make sure it’s a good fit for the experience you desire. The property manager was super friendly (she met us when we arrived and walked us through the house) and she was also very responsive to any questions we had! We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, the mosquitoes were terrible, the mattresses could have been better, and no blinds on the windows, but over all lots of room, there was everything we needed to prepare meals, it was quite clean, and the property manager was helpful.I would stay again.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay in Tracie’s home. It is within a short drive to all the nearby attractions and conveniences, including the Whitefish area, Kalispell, and Glacier NP. The home was clean, well furnished/stocked , and more than spacious enough to accommodate our group. The back overlooks a very serene wooded area and was a perfect place for coffee in the morning. Loved the layout as well as all the amenities! The host was very friendly and helpful, her house definitely felt like a home. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back to the Whitefish area and rent with them again!

Riverbend 40 land has been in our family since 1968. We love the central location and the improvements that we have made over time (small sub-division of 3 private properties each with at least 10 acres, our new house in 2018, property trails to river). The area has changed A LOT over the years and become a tourist destination versus a best kept secret. While we are close to the towns of Whitefish, Columiba Falls and Kalispell, we still have privacy with easy access to the amenities we have become accustomed to.
