This lovely cottage apartment was perfect for my long-weekend stay. Chickamauga is a super cute town & is close to the battlefield and Covenant College. It was very clean, had a super comfortable bed, and great water pressure in the shower. Also, the owner thought of, and provided, everything you may need!
Enjoyed my stay very cozy and comfortable.
Very convenient to the historical town of Chickamauga. So many attractions to visit within a 30 minute drive to alot of tourist sight close to Chattanooga, TN. The Host response da immediate to your requests or questions.
A great location in the downtown area of Chickamauga. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable and the neighborhood so quiet that sleep was amazing.
The porch was a great place to sit with coffee in the mornings and there was a very friendly cat who stopped by to say hello.
We were visiting family and the location was perfect, five minutes from them. We will definitely book again for our next visit.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. It was nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable, and the location was within walkable distance to this very quaint town. Only minor things were the clawfoot tub was a bit of a challenge for older folks, but I knew that ahead of time. And I was disappointed to find that the rocking chairs on the back porch looked out onto the alley and not the main street. But the fire pit was very nice and enjoyed chatting with the owner.
My husband stayed here while visiting his brother. It was clean, quaint, walking distance to town, easy check in, and just as advertised. If in the area again, would definitely stay here again as opposed to a hotel/motel. You wonât be disappointed.
Great Stay, Excellent Location for Battlefield Visitors
This spot is quick drive to Chickamauga Battlefield. The pretty porch overlooks an inviting yard and garden with a big, old tree to provide shade and birdsong. Sofa and bed were comfortable and cozy. We really appreciated the snacks and toiletries that were available to us. Plus there's a great Mexican restaurant a short walk away. We will stay here next time we are in the area. Thanks for great stay!
This is my hometown. I currently live in Charleston SC and was coming home to visit. This place was so peaceful and relaxing. The bed is super comfy. I would have stayed forever if I could have. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here in the future.
We enjoyed the property It was very nice and well maintained. Located only 6 miles from by he even
The location was great for us. Only 6 miles from the event we attended. We loved the little extras the host provided. I enjoyed sitting in the rocker on the porch. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed walking downtown and looking in the shops there.
The property was comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated.
Cindy went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. The house was beautifully decorated and immaculate. There was a charming claw foot bathtub and a pedestal sink depicting a Victorian or French styled bathroom. The queen sized bed was so comfortable and decorated with beautiful bed coverings and pillows. There was a tv in the bedroom and the living room. It was very quiet and we enjoyed the porch that had two rocking chairs. We loved the location and most of all our lovely hostess.
The property was full of amenities--snacks, toiletries, coffee pods for the Keurig, microwave, medium size refrigerator (not a mini-fridge), all kitchen utensils you could think of, and beautiful decor--including holiday decor during our late December stay.
Nicely done and a great value! We'll be back.
We cannot say enough great things about our VRBO. Cynthia went above and beyond helping us with directions. She was the ultimate hostess. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio reading and enjoying the
beautiful trees and yard. Chickamauga.is a darling little community and all the historic and sightseeing is very close
To come home in the evening to such a charming, safe and cozy cottage felt really good
The queen bed is extremely supportive and comfortable. Sleeper sofa was big enough that friend just slept on top - seemed to be a nice sleep. I prefer all cotton sheets with no fragrances. The sheets had no smell but they were not 100% cotton. Thankfully I brought my own. All the touches were in the space: toiletries in case you forgot them. (No toothbrush ) Lots of towels, extra pillows, snacks, water, coffee & creamers. I prefer 1/2 & 1/2 so I brought my own. But the Krispy Kreme coffee K-Cups were good.
It was very cold when we arrived. There is an a/c/heat unit⊠it warmed the whole space up nicely. Didnât love that it blew directly onto the bed, but it was very mild so i actually was fine. There are hidden pocket doors to separate the two rooms, but you do have to access the bathroom via the bedroom.
Decor was really nice. Very clean. Lots of info on the area. All in all Iâll stay again if I come back.
Thanks Cynthia!
We were overjoyed to find this little hideaway. Property was just as described. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. We hope this place is available the next time we visit this special little town.
We had a wonderful visit. House was clean and well kept. Great area of town and we felt very safe. Homeowner answered all of our questions and was a big help in a timely manner!
