This property seems very personal to the owners, with an accumulation of memories. It is comfortable and as pictured.Suzanne and Mike were very helpful when we had an issue with the smoke detector. I wished the bedside table drawer was available for use, not full of their things. If you enjoy eclectic stays, this one is for you.
Nice getaway from the heat down in the valley. We enjoyed the view from the deck and seeing the deer in the morning and evening. Well stocked with everything we needed. Host was always available for any questions.
A wonderful place to stay in Flagstaff! The house had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Easy communication with the owners. We loved staying there!
Nice place to stay. Had trouble fitting it initially but was able to get it worked out. Having AC was nice esp when it gets hotter in flag. Donât think we would book in the future.
Cabin was spotless, well equipped and well decorated. We would definitely rent Hoop Dancer again. There were some minor maintenance hiccups but they did not inhibit our pleasure with the home. Some clarity regarding pool use - it is at an additional charge with arrangements to be made by guests. The area is beautiful and easily accessible to scenic sites! Recommend!
Everything was wonderful and it felt like everything we needed was taken care of. The shower in the master bathroom had a door that was difficult to use when we arrived but other than that everything was wonderful!
Beautiful home, cleanest rental Iâve ever stayed in
This place was perfect in every way for our stay. Beautiful, clean, spacious, and super accommodating. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there, the modern furniture was super comfy, and the central heating worked like a dream. My only complaint is that maybe the TV in the master bedroom is mounted a bit too high on the wall, so it catches a strong glare from the ceiling light, so if you want to watch or play something, you canât really have the main light on. But Iâd say thatâs a very minor complaint. The listing somewhat undersells the property. When booking, we thought, âthiss looks nice.â But when we actually got there, we were blown away. This rental is gorgeous, and i highly recommend booking it if youâre heading to Flagstaff
Our stay was nice. We spent Christmas in Flagstaff hoping for a white Christmas. We did not have snow, but being in the cold and near forest was beautiful. Condo was nice. There is a lot of furniture so it felt crowded. Also notes everywhere of what to do, not do, touch or donât touch. If you have little ones, you may reconsider staying here. Kitchen was well stocked and tons of warm blankets. Loved the sectional couch and they even had two Christmas trees!
I enjoyed staying at this property. I had wished it had a real hot tub as had been suggested by previous renters as I would not have used the walk in bath but the property had everything we needed otherwise and was close to all the activities we wanted. Nice to have air conditioning too. Excellent communication with the homeowner to assist with getting into the home. It was very quiet even though there were lots of people around. All in all I would stay there again if I would visit Flagstaff again.
We rented this nice place for five days. It was perfect. I always travel well prepared there was nothing that was not stocked and available for me already. A lot of attention to detail and everything is very well explained .Will definitely rent again highly recommend.
The townhouse was very clean, quiet and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary. The new living room sectional sofa was upscale and very comfortable. The owners were responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with. We especially enjoyed the large front deck.
We really enjoyed our time in Flagstaff and we were very close to many activities for the grandkids - hiking Fat Man's Loop, swimming at Bear Paw Pool, bowling, Bushmaster park, Levitate jump park. Oakmont Cafe is within walking distance and has good food. The owners Michael and Suzanne are very accommodating.
Arizona has it all & Flagstaff proves it. Just a 1.5 to 2 hour drive due north of Phoenix you can experience any where from a 30 to 70 degree temperature difference depending on the time of year. If you're tired of the sunny warm winters & want to remember what true winters are like or you just can't go another week baking at a hot & sunny 115+ degree temperatures and you need a break, the Hoop Dancer can give you that experience. Its fun to get bundled up to go out on New Years Eve to head to the corner of LeCrox & Beaver Street at the Weatherford Hotel to see the Pine Cone drop, this is comparible to NYC crystal ball drop, from the hotel's 2nd story balcony as you ring in the New Year with the rest of the crowd. During the summer the large spacious deck has all the furniture you need for a party of 6 to sit outside & enjoy having a drink or eating a meal without sweating to death or getting eaten alive by bugs. And did I mention star gazing? Flagstaff is very aware of light pollution due to Lowell's Observatory-the observatory that discovered the planet Pluto in 1954, you will see the Milky Way like you have never seen before in a city environment.
On 1-31-10 a male Bald Eagle visited the tree tops just outside our A-frame window. Less than 1/2 mile from our townhouse we have witnessed a herd of over 100 elk crossing the road. We provide feeders & bird seed which pulls in a variety of bird species: Stellar Jays, Titmouse, Chickadee, AZ Sparrows, Robins, Golden Finches & of course Hummingbirds. If you're so inclined to fill the feeders (bird seed in the mud room) just sit back..wait..watch all enjoyed from the front balcony.
