The Brick Street Suite, high ceilings, historic brick street location
Located on the historic brick streets of downtown, this oversized two bed is the perfect location for a couple looking to walk to breakfast at Dollieâs diner or a glass of wine at Red House in the evening.
We needed a place to stay for Graduation Weekend for our daughter attending SFA. This loft suite was perfect! It was spacious, well kept, and fun to stay in. The location in Downtown Nac was perfect for us, and within walking distance to many of the restaurants and venues on our itinerary. Many thanks to our host!
A fantastic location and a very nice place to stay in downtown Nacogdoches. The loft was spacious ad very nice, the hosts were responsive and very helpful. It made for a great weekend and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a visit to Nacogdoches.
Loved being on the square in Nacogdoches. We took a mother daugter trip to visit SFA. We were close to all the great shops, restaurants and SFA. The flat has a ton of charm. Very comfy!
I was in town for business and stayed here. It was perfect for the lone traveler. Would also be perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing getaway. They have put a lot of thought and detail into making this place extremely comfortable!! I canât wait to stay here again on my next trip to Nacogdoches!!
We had a great stay in this loft apartment. Great room and Tv is awesome to watch a movie. Comfy bed and pillows. Shower and restrooms were accommodating. Kitchen and appliances are quality. Location is perfect in downtown Nacogdoches.
We are four women in our 60âs. The rental was well appointed, beautiful, safe and clean! Thoughtful, light breakfast. Owner so easy to communicate with. We are planning other get togethers there!
We came to Nacogdoches to visit our son who attends SFASU. This property is located in the historic downtown and just a few minutes drive from the university.
The property is clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The owner was exceedingly easy to contact and very helpful. 5 stars! Will stay here again next time we are back.
Overall great property and location. Close to everything that Nac and Lufkin have to offer. Fredonia Hotel is in walking distance. The loft is very spacious with an open floor plan. Parking is readily accessible. My one point of contention is with how busy the street is in front of the building. The car and truck traffic is heavy during the day and somewhat steady all night. If your a light sleeper you can here the truck and trailers going thru during the night. But that's nothing a sound machine or ear plugs couldn't solve.
We are four senior ladies. We are all very spry so we had no trouble navigating the stairs. We were in town for the funeral of a good friend and this was just the right place for us. Very open floor plan. Absolutely beautiful woodwork. Kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware and utensils. LArge modern refrigerator. Lovely view of the square. Less than a minute's walk to Dolli's dinner and less than a 3 minute drive to Aunti Pasta's. We had no trouble with parking. The host was very available and friendly.
Our stay at this property was an absolute dream! Tucked away in downtown Nacogdoches, it offered a perfect place to call home as we enjoyed all the shops and food destinations Nacogdoches has to offer.
The loft itself was beautifully designed with comfortable decor and all the amenities we could ask for. The open layout created a spacious feel, and the large windows provided plenty of natural light.
We especially loved the cozy loft bedroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Moreover, the couch was great and the extra large TV and impressive sound system made relaxing after a long day a treat.
The loft was also conveniently located to several shops and restaurants. We were able to walk to numerous antique shops and there were more restaurants within walking distance than we could take in during our short stay. There is even a winery about a block away.
The host was fantastic, providing clear instructions for parking and entry to the property, making it all a breeze. Johnny made us feel right at home and was always available to assist us during our stay.
Overall, this loft exceeded our expectations and made our getaway truly memorable. We can't wait to return and experience it all over again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing and convenient retreat.
Very good overall. A few constructive criticisms:
1. Lock at top of stairs needs fixing. VERY finicky and was hard getting open even after I talked to him. Only locked it if we were inside because it was such a pain getting it unlocked from outside.
2. I would add a light switch for stairs at top of stairs also.
3. Lighting in living area (even when all lights are on) is very dim. Love the fixtures but need more wattage.
4. Would not advise for elderly because of quantity and steepness of stairs. It was fine for us but would not want my elderly parents renting there.
This is a great location and plenty of space in the VRBO. Walking distance to The Fredonia, Fredonia Brewery, Red House Winery and all downtown shops. Johnny was very responsive as questions came up throughout the stay.
