Sweet house, quiet neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was the best equipped I've ever had with a house/cabin rental. Very clean. Communication and support was phenomenal.

Great House but location leaves much to be desired

The house was great, the property was great but the location was very questionable. Houses beside it were run down and inhabitable.

My family of 6 stayed here very comfortably. The house was clean and very well appointed. Here are our pros and cons. The construction next door was due to the family that lives there getting a complete renovation on their home. We do apologize if this inconvenienced your stay a bit. As for the essentials, we would love to know your feedback on what was not provided that should be. We try to put a lot of thought into providing things that you need so that all you have to do is bring your clothes and food. We provide things like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee and pods, tea, hot cocoa, every kitchen item you could need or want, games for the family, bath and beach towels, propane for the grill, and more. As for the locks, the deadbolts are actually not needed since we have smart locks on all of our properties that lock the doors automatically for you! We would love to hear from you about what we could add to make your experience better! We thank you again for allowing us to host you and hope to have you back again!

Last minute vacation

Overall the stay was great! We just had difficulty getting into the house. The key pad wasn’t working and it got really hot really fast holding all of our belongings while trying to get in. Other than that hiccup the house nicely upgraded on the inside. The neighborhood was a little rough looking, but we still felt safe during our stay.

Beautiful Home!

This property was everything and more! The pictures look beautiful, but in person, this home blew is away. It was so clean, the decorations were so cute, the beds were very comfortable, and we loved all the little things that they added to make it feel like home. Games for the kids (they also loved the bunk beds!), Makeup wash cloths, everything we needed and more in the kitchen, extra beach towels, and the noise machines were a nice touch as well! Their customer service was amazing as well. And questions we had were answered quickly and they are all so friendly. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

Nice stay

My family and I planned a last minute get away here after our family vacation to Florida was canceled due to the horrible storms. The property manager was very communicative and was able to get everything together last minute. Only issue we had was the front door stopped communicating with the internet hub. When I called in, Shanna was very helpful and quick to get us in with a physical key. My little kids all enjoyed the house so much that my 3 year old told my husband when we were leaving that she needed some money “to buy the mermaid house” 😂 thank you guys for a great stay!

The minted mermaid

Overall it was a decent stay. The home was not as clean as we expected. The shower had mold in the bottom so I had to wear flip flops in the shower. There were also what seemed to be German roaches. We did have a leak under the kitchen sink right after we arrived that put a LOT of water in the floor. My Gus and and I had to clean it up because the soonest they could come out was the next morning. That was not the best way to start vacation. The bunk beds are super uncomfortable. It has such a thin mattress that it feels like you are sleeping on the floor with a couple of blankets. Overall it was okay. I probably wouldn’t stay here again. The staff was very nice though and very quick to respond to messages.

Worked just fine

House was clean. Kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies. Internet worked well throughout stay. Shower pressure and hot water were great. Has a fence in back yard. With a well behaved dog it was nice to let him out and watch him from the back door. There is a community bar on the opposite corner to the house. And an alley behind the house. On a couole occassions the smell of weed could be smelt in the backyard. Would be good to add a blind to rhe bathroom and master bedroom windows as you can see in. They are small high windows. But in olaces that privacy is important. Neighborhood is iffy at night but okay during the day. A diir peep hole might help. Parking is on street- first come first served. There is a big curve (later learned for drainage) you must step up on once you park the car. There are big bushes on the side of the street making some parking spots difficult for passengers to enter the car. When it rained hard the streets flooded (to top of wheel) so needed to relocate car to dry area. After hard rain. Which meant wading through water two feet tall to get to car and to get back to house. A heads up would have been helpful to preplan that experience. Water drained in about 4 hours. Back patio decking rotting in and dangerous to walk on so didnt use back patio furniture. Several service technicians came during our 4 week stay. (Regular maintenance and some repairs) Management company communication regarding service technicians was good.

We appreciate your observations and want to share that several of the concerns mentioned have already been addressed. The back patio decking has been repaired, and the space is now safe and ready for guest use. We regularly perform maintenance, including lawn care and pest control, to keep the home in excellent condition, and we're glad our communication around those visits was helpful during your stay. Regarding weather, we always encourage guests to check local conditions prior to and during their stay, as the island climate can change quickly — particularly in low-lying areas where temporary flooding can occur. Street parking is typical for the neighborhood (and noted in the listing), but we do have a designated guest space directly in front of the home for added convenience. While the surrounding homes are privately owned, and we cannot control what happens on neighboring properties, we’ve had no safety concerns or incidents reported, and our team remains available to support guests if ever needed. As for the small, high-set windows in the bathroom and bedroom, we do have blinds and curtains in place for privacy. We value your feedback and are always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience. Great vacation property

The property was so nice and modern. It was very clean, cozy, and inviting. We had some difficulty getting the door unlocked when we arrived, but we called the property managers, and they were very helpful and efficient with getting the door unlocked. The check-out process was very easy, which allowed us to enjoy our last day there. I would definitely recommend staying at this property if planning a trip to Galveston!
