Not only is this place incredibly scenic and spacious, but they are some of the most prepared hosts I've experienced. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we would need for a weekend away: spices, condiments, cooking gadgets, kayaks/paddleboards for MANY guests, books etc.Hosts were, of course, very communicative. We had such an incredible time there and would recommend it highly.
The property is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay! Being right on the lake with canoes and a paddleboard available made it extra special. The home is spacious, perfect for families, and the kitchen is well-stocked and thoughtfully organized. We had such a wonderful time and canât wait to come back!
The home and property were absolutely beautiful and everything was clean and inviting. There were detailed instructions attached to the spa, fire pit and lake activities equipment for access and operation that were very helpful. The site manager Saira was very pleasant and very prompt in all the communications that went back and forth between us. My family and I had a truly memorable experience at the lake and home.
Some houses have everything and then thereâs this house which literally has 2,3,4 of everything. Weâve stayed in many expensive ABNBâs and this house is well thought out, from the minute you come in it feels like home, very detailed and organized down to a T. Oh, and itâs right on the beach with an actually beach, which our dogs love playing and fetching. We already booked another trip, feel very lucky to say we have now found our big bear escape.
We just completed our third year staying at this beautiful cabin. Accommodations were just so well appointed with everything we needed. Very welcoming. Loved being able to use the kayaks, sit with toes in the water , using the fire pit and hot tub in the evening. All around great family experience. Thank you.
We were so impressed with the location and the grounds. The master suit and 2queens were great. The 4 grandkids shared the bunk room and it got HOT. One top bunk is squeeky. The only negative was the pull out chair in the pool room. We had to improvise the bedding. It was not where we were told. BUT the next morning I email and was given good directions as to where to locate sheets. We love the number of water play toys were available. The whole weekend was magical. Everything was labeled and organized. We are talking about out next stay.
Our stay at this beautiful property was cut short last September due to the San Bernardino fires. We had to evacuate due to the dangerous smoke. The owners were so kind to credit us the remaining days for future use, so we went back and enjoyed a wonderful stay. Took us back to the happy Big Bear memories weâve always kept. The house is so well laid out, with plenty of room for all ages, from babies to seniors. The grounds are spectacular. The view is unbeatable. The property manager Saira is a very helpful person, professional, and excellent at her job.
Beautiful home beautiful views great location kids kayak for the first time felt very safe quality equipment. Great communication will definitely return!
Accommodations were wonderful! High Recommendation!
We came as family of 9 - plenty of living space and sleeping arrangements to keep everyone comfortable. The quiet views from the back porch and outside seating areas were breathtaking and worth the price tag for our 7 day stay.Kitchen had all the basics of what we needed to create meals through out our stay. Hot tub was lovely on the chilly nights.Much appreciated the wood availability for the fireplace. The washer/dryers came in handy for the towels and clothes that needed washing up while we were away from home. Our two family dogs were allowed to come with us and were very comfortable!Communication with management was great - kept us in the loop and apprised of any pertinent information regarding our stay. The TV sound system in the living room left something to be desired but we didnât come here to sit in front of the television anyway. The gardener came around one morning around 9am with a leaf blower which wasnât necessarily ideal for those who sleep. Biggest complaint I encountered from all the visitors was the afternoon sun comes in through the large (but beautiful) back windows and creates an unrelenting glare that has you requiring sunglasses inside until sunset! There is a placard fixed to the kitchen window frame stating there are no window coverings as to not impede the lake view which is understandable. However, the glare is pretty substantial- even some UV film could make the difference! Overall, we all had a memorable relaxing trip and would gladly return again
It was the first time my entire family decided to get together for a significant amount of time⊠Everyone included, we even hired a photographer.I only wish the spare rooms had king sizebeds
Over all a great time. There were 15 of us plus 2 for thanksgiving dinner. The house is in great location and housed us fine. Only comment, be nice to have one of those bed toppers on loft bed.
