Lovely private cozy cabin close to Lake Estes, 9 hole golf course and downtown Estes Park. Sit on the front patio for wonderful views of the peaks or hop in the car and head to Rocky Mountain National Park to hike the many wonderful trails. Or go fly fishing on the river! This homey one bedroom cabin has a full kitchen, dining area, living room with a sleeper sofa, 3/4 bath and washer and dryer. Wi-Fi and television if you just want to stay in and relax. This cabin is the best!
The cabin was really pretty. The kitchen was spacious and clean and had everything you would need to be able to cook or bake. The bed was VERY comfortable. The owners came over and introduced themselves and were so friendly. We had everything we needed for our stay and our cabin was located in a perfect place. We saw elk every few days that came right up to our property and hung around. We had plenty of privacy as there weren't other cabins around to be crowded. We were really close to downtown but far enough away that we didn't have a lot of people by us. It was just perfect! Would totally recommend this property. Thank you Steve and Janet. We'll be back.
The cabin is beautiful and cozy. We had deer come right onto the property and a herd of Elk passed by right in front of the property. It was awesome. Beautiful hiking trails in Estes park. Totally recommend!!
Such a nice cabin, my husband and I were there on our 30th Anniversary and Estes Park did not disappoint. First time visiting but will not be our last. Location to town was so nice we could walk into town with a short walk. Beautiful views and we timed it perfect for the Aspens in full color. The Elk were right outside the cabin, literally. Bogeys is a great sports bar, we watched the KC Chiefs game and met a lot of nice people. RMNP is a must to do. Thank you for letting us stay, we will be back!
The cabin was almost perfect for a visit to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain NP. We loved the rustic decor and the full kitchen. We appreciated the washer/dryer. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only negatives would be that there is no A/C in the cabin which would be very uncomfortable during hot summer nights. Also we saw several roaches in the cabin. If you drive or walk down to Estes Lake nearby, be ready to see elk swimming and relaxing, especially during rut season. It was amazing! Estes Park is truly a special place!
We had a great mom and me trip! Close to the park and town. Elk right out the doorâ 5 Bull elk one morning!A slightly bigger bed would be nice- but Iâm also not used to sleeping with my 7yo.
Beautiful and clean cabin with excellent decor and amenities (well equipped kitchen and lovely glass door walking shower). Close to town and yet in quiet area. Nice porch with Mountain Views. We were very pleased on this sister trip to Estes Park.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Estes Park, look no further...this place is perfect! Easy access to all attractions, but, in a very quiet location. Thanks to Steve and Janet for a great several days.
Simple check-in. Beautiful private cabin. The owners are right next door, often checking to make sure everything was okay. Decor just right for the environment. All kitchen appliances seemed brand new. Birds and flowers outside and a great mountain view. Safeway, restaurants and downtown are nearby
The property was even cuter than it was in the pictures! The location was perfect with good walking or easy driving access to everything. It was clean, it was cozy. It had everything we needed.
Wonderful home base for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park
The Hoods were wonderful hosts - friendly, responsive, and reasonable. The cabin was spacious for the three of us, the bathroom was lovely, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The outside patio was also lovely, with beautiful flowers, views of the mountains, and birds flying about constantly. The best aspect of the cabin, though, was the location - just a short walk to the lake or to the Estes Park Visitor Center, from where you can easily walk into town. We were also within 10-20 min drive to multiple entrances and trailheads for Rocky Mountain National Park.We loved our stay and would happily visit again!
The cabin was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Location was perfect. Close to groceries and downtown Estes, but far enough away to feel peaceful. Prompt and professional communication with hosts. Highly recommend!
Me and my daughter wanted to get away from the AZ heat and found this cabin! It was amazing and the description was spot on. We woke up to dozens of elk sleeping in the front and behind cabin. We was able to just sit around and relax and enjoy the amazing weather. The Estes lake was right around the corner and it was a nice walk to and from. Great location to walk to get coffee or lunch. Thank yall so much.
Perfect place to spend a vacation in the mountains!
My family loved this cabin. It had everything we needed to enjoy our first visit to the mountains. It was clean, cute, and cozy. We had a view of the mountains and enjoyed sitting out on the porch watching the birds and enjoying the scenery. The property managers were very helpful, too. I highly recommend.
This little cabin was perfect for my husband and I. We were close to RMNP and Estes lake. We saw wildlife right out our back door! The owners were very nice and helpful and the place was very clean. I will stay there again!
Wonderful stay. Very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need to eat in and pack a lunch for the day. Location is easy to find and close to grocery store. Itâs far enough away from downtown Estes to not be bothered by crowds but close enough to enjoy. Highly recommend !
We visit Estes Park frequently. This time, it was just the two of us and the cabin fit our needs perfectly. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and responsive. The property was well-maintained, comfortable and convenient. We will definitely consider booking the property in the future.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed cabin. Great location for access to town and RMNP, yet very quite and peaceful. A welcome retreat after a long day of hiking in RMNP. We loved watching the mama elk and her newborn little one who were frequent visitors. The cabin was spotless and lovingly maintained. Excellent communication from our host. Hope to return!
This cute, clean, bright, well-appointed cabin was perfect for our 3 nights in Estes Park. Near the town center and RMNP, it made our time really relaxing.
We bought this property in 2014 and finally finished the remodel in 2021. It used to be an artistâs gallery for selling his oil paintings which he painted in the studio in the house up on the cliff, which is where we live much of the year. We love Estes Park in all its wonderful seasons.
