Come and experience an unconventional design and life style of "Point of View"! Private, wooded, waterfront rental home on the public side of Lake Anna. Modern home with warm & cozy furnishings. 10-28 ft ceilings. Walls of floor to ceiling windows! A perfect place to escape from work, school, or home!

Our unique two level dock offers over 600 SF of space to relax and stretch out. Multiple boat tie up options, two jet ski docks, and a storage area for convenient access to the provided water toys. We provide 4 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards for guest use. The upper level offers sun, shade, and a jumping platform (if you dare) to jump the 11+ ft plunge to the water below. Don’t like the murky lake bottom? Our dock water depths range from 6 ft to 26 ft. Where you can stand near the shore is mostly fine pea gravel bottom.

In the house you will find spectacular views of the lake from every bedroom, and nearly every room. The bedrooms are spacious with floor to ceiling windows, zoned heat and AC to each bedroom, and a private bathroom for each bedroom. The loft is stocked with games, 900 DVDs, hundreds of books, a full size pool table, and shuffle board table. Need more? Step outside to the side deck and take a dip in the hot tub. The roof top deck with a gas fire pit offers a treetop view of the property and lake.

The back yard fire pit is the best place to kick back and relax. Let the conversations roll (even with the teenagers!) while enjoying the expansive views of the lake, sunrises or sunsets. Watch the kids as they explore the 600 ft of water front or treasure hunt the point.

Fantastic home in a beatiful setting

Online pictures don't really convey just how grand this home is! Beautiful, spacious rooms, comfortable beds with buttery soft linens and everything needed in a well stocked kitchen made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

This house is absolutely stunning - great for a guy's weekend or for a multi -family get-together. Our host Matt was extremely responsive and helpful, and we had a blast during our stay. Would love to come here again!

Family vacation

The best vacation rental we have ever stayed. House was clean, nice big rooms and the main living and dining are the most favorite places to hang out with families. Love the location, all the amenities that are available for use (kayak, outdoor fire pit etc). Matt has been always reachable to answer any questions. Would look forward to come back again in future.

Fall Foliage with Friends

It was a fabulous 4-day retreat. The property is beautifully decorated and spacious, complete with entertainment for all ages-games and a pool table. The place was well stocked for cooking. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for all! We enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated the kayaks for use. We’d wished that the deck/dock was properly cleaned (It is filled with cobwebs and water bugs).

Perfect girls weekend!

We stayed here for my sisters bachelorette party last fall and had an amazing time. The house fit 13 of us comfortably and the view is just gorgeous! The two story windows in the great room give a perfect view of the lake & fall foliage. The amount of seating inside was great but the outdoor spaces were where it’s at! We loved bundling up on the doc, drinking wine by the fire-pit, and the rooftop was great for later evenings! Highly recommend staying here, I know a lot of the gals were talking about coming back!

This property was used for a corporate retreat. Wonderful location. Clean, and exactly as described. There was an issue with the AC upon check, during a warmer day but it was resolved the same day. Quick comms from Host.

Amazing Property

This is a wonderful property with a huge amount of space to spread out! The home has all the comforts of home. The beds are comfortable and the amazing kitchen has everything needed to cook a gourmet meal. There is an enormous table to enjoy a meal and plenty of seating in the living room to relax . Every room has an amazing view of the lake. The yard and dock are equally impressive. Each day we saw deer in the yard and down by the lake. The kayaks and paddle boards were fun to explore the lake. The two story dock with a hit with the kids for jumping in the lake. This home is amazing! We will definitely be back.

Lovely unique house

We had a gorgeous view of Lake Anna, enjoyable even when it rained! The kitchen was very well supplied with plenty of place settings, drinkware and cooking utensils. Really comfortable bed and fabulous bathrooms. I loved the rooftop screened porch (the propane heater wasn’t needed but it was nice to see). Just two of us were on this trip but it was really easy to imagine the fun we’d have with extended family there - it’s very spacious with lots of room to spread out.

The Perfect Rental!

We rented this house for my husbands birthday. The house was very nice, clean, and well organized . We loved the modern architecture and finishes . The views of the lake were so beautiful. This rental really does have everything you could want and more of things you didn’t realize you wanted. The property manager was super responsive , we didn’t have any issues but when I reached out with questions they responded very quickly and provided great recommendations .we plan to rent here again.

Point of View did not disappoint

This was out first time at LKA and this property was perfect for our family of 7 and their +1s. (Our 5 children are ages 15-21.) This house fit our needs and wants well. There is something for everyone to enjoy and we never felt overcrowded. The Dock and its amenities provided days of fun and relaxation. We enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, swinging, jumping in the lake, swimming, fishing and just hanging out on the upper and lower decks. Inside the house there is a large kitchen- the beverage cooler & ice machine were a nice surprise- and there is plenty of room to spread out amongst the floors. The house is stocked with activities- TVs shuffleboard, pool table, and a library of movies. There is a hot tub and firepit just a few steps outside, too. The property manager is easily accessible and quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly rent from Matt & Tina again! Thank you Point of View for all the Great memories we made!

Could Be Gorgeous Property in Need of Some TLC

A could be a gorgeous private, wooded, waterfront home on the public side of Lake Anna. Modern home with seating in the family room for seven people comfortably. The television in the main room is difficult to watch due to high ceilings because a previous guest stole the sound system. Fireplace has been broken since August, so if this is a must have look elsewhere. The views are amazing, in every room, but if you have an issue with sleeping with uncovered windows and glass doors this is not the home for you. Every bedroom has a view of the lake and private bath, but the drain in the only bathtub available throughout the home is broken, and there is not enough hot water to fill up the tub higher than a quarter of the way. Huge dock with 2nd level lounging, but the table does not have an umbrella to sit under because a previous guest left the umbrella open during a storm and the umbrella blew away, damaging the table in the process. Kayaks are good for children or small to average-sized adults. The fire pit near the dock is perfect for roasting marshmallows or just gathering around the fire, and plenty of firewood for burning is provided. A beautiful kitchen, with plenty of cabinets to store your goodies, coffee pot, toaster, Instant Pot, utensils for grilling, knives recently sharpened by a previous guest, worn dinner plates, and bowls. Not enough silverware for the service of fifteen guests. Be prepared to clean the pots and pans before using them and set aside time on your first evening in the home to put the sheets on the beds because this is not included in the cleaning fee. Currently working on improvements to the rear yard and hopefully will fix everything in the home that will make this a five-star rental.

All about the water, stars, view, and privacy

The double-decker dock is simply spectacular for breezy lunches, sunsets, and late-night stargazing. The 4 kayaks made it so easy to get out on the water often (only 1 will fit a taller, larger adult). We spent our days diving and swimming off the dock in the warm water. Plenty of firewood to be found on the property. And the house is well-designed so each room has a view, space from other guests, and private bath. Kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. This property matches its online description, expected condition, and photos well.

Point of View

Highlights of this property are many. Views from the house. Floating dock. View of the lake. One of the few locations on the lake that you don’t see any other houses because it is across from the state park. Rent a boat to go tubing. Highlight for the teens. Plenty of kayaks provided. Hot tub and fire pit. One of most relaxing vacations we have ever had.

Amazing week at the lake!

This was, by far, the best rental we have ever been to! The location is fantastic, the home is beautiful and very well-equipped, and the owner was incredibly responsive when we had a thermostat issue. Could not have asked for a better week—if we were not moving out of state, I would absolutely rent again!

My wife, Tina, and I own a contracting business in Rockville, MD. I’ve been a lake guy my entire life and Tina converted from a life long beach girl to lake girl soon after we met.

Tina, and I had rented yearly at Lake Anna for 15 years prior to buying. We’ve seen a lot of homes over the years and knew what we wanted. This home checks nearly all of the boxes. Those feature boxes that it doesn’t check, we will add in the years to come.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Point of View has a great central location on the lake. The wide channel offers great views, yet safe swimming from passing boaters. The deep water swimming is the best. The 5 acre property is a rare find on the lake. Only one neighboring home is visible from the house, and no other neighboring docks are visible from our dock. Easy access by boat or vehicle to local restaurants and groceries.
