Good location for LSU games. Property was extremely dirty. Mattress in the one room is absolutely garbage. Felt like you were gonna fall thru the floor.

Absolutely AWFUL! The guest bed literally doesn't have a mattress! Just two box springs. There is two plates and two bowls and two pots no pans. The floor is beyond unlevel. You literally walk up hill to get to the bathrooms. DO NOT STAY here! The host doesn't care or even attempt to fix it!

Great value

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. It is right off the highway, which makes it super convenient to everything, but you can hear the highway right outside. I'd say it was good value for the price. The games were fun.

We stayed at this house for an LSU game with my family. The location wasnt as close to campus as I originally thought based on the description. The house is NOT in a good neighborhood. Like I definitely wouldnt leave kids alone at the house or walk in the area. Now once you get inside the house and open the door, at first glance it looks just like the pictures, then as you look harder it is nothing like them! The floor in the living room was so buckled that we thought it may fall through. The second bedroom was pretty much just a box spring, no mattress. Needless to say, the remodel may had been decent at one time but definitely was not now. Now, I will say, we did not feel unsafe in the house. & It did grow on us a little, but we will not be staying here again.

Want to like it but NO

Construction trash on property, wrong door code, paper thin mattress, unclean sheets, towels, floors, buckling of vinyl on said floors, no coffee cups, dental floss on floor, not clean, no internet. Don’t bother coming here! Look elsewhere.

Dirty & Needs Work

This property needs a lot of work. It was not cleaned well at all and the the renovation job on this house was not done well at all. The owner was responsive and refunded my cleaning fee and the games were fun and somewhat a saving grace (the kids really enjoyed them).

We did not stay at the house due to the uncleanliness and poor conditions of the property and its contents (broken bed frames, flooring uplifted, unlevel house/foundation, dirty bathrooms and walls, broken entertainment games and WiFi not usable/located. Asked for refund immediately leaving upon “check in” and no response from owner

Very unsanitary. Dead bugs everywhere. Couch bed had food and dead bugs inside. Not a good location

The house was not in a safe neighborhood. There were dead and live bugs everywhere. It was unsanitary. Couch bed had food crumbs and bugs inside. We did not stay there longer than 45 minutes. We did them a favor and swept the floors. Requested a full refund and can not get a response. Worst experience I’ve had.

It was good

Code to get in wasn't correct and had to contact for help. They had changed it and hadn't updated on the email I received. Took a little bit to get in touch with them, but they contacted us and apologized. Wifi didn't work and owner never sent it even though we asked for it, since wifi was supposed to included and that is how we were supposed to watch TV bc they didn't have a TV service. So we had watch movies on my phone screen. The inside of the place was very nice, but the air kept going back up to 74 and we would start sweating. All the devices worked through wifi so the alarm beeped the entire time bc no Wi-Fi connection. The place we were supposed to stay in hadn't been cleaned so they offered the place next door bc that's the one they thought we rented and said he was sending someone to clean it and that we could use both places if we wanted. He made it right, which was great!

Pictures are deceiving!

We booked this place to go to an LSU game. I don’t know the areas in Baton Rouge. This listing was deceiving as its title is “Charming place close to LSU!” Well first of all we did not feel safe in the area it was in, second of all i had to call the host b/c all the buttons on the door code were stuck so we couldn’t get in. His response was to just to try to wiggle the numbers around to free them. It took about 20 min to get in. Once we got in it needs alot of maintenance! The only area that was nice was the kitchen. The game area was not, games broken, the couch was dirty, the beds in the bedrooms were hard as rocks! The towels looked like they were 10 yrs old and all different colors! The closet in the master was filled with junk, it looked like a junk closet and stunk! There was no way u could hang clothes or put anything in there! The toilet paper holder was hanging on by a thread! My advice, don’t stay here!

LSU House

We had a great stay. The house was clean and really nice. While the neighborhood appeared a bit sketchy at first, we loved the location and had no problems. The only thing that could be improved on was toilet paper in the bathrooms.

Great for our specific weekend

This place is definitely not in a great neighborhood; however, we just needed a spot for two adults for a two night stay. In town for an LSU game and this is close enough to campus to make it easy. Not close to anything that you would walk to like restaurants but easily accessible for ride share. The place was clean but no frills (excluding the video game cabinets). There were just a few towels in the dryer and maybe 4 (1/2) rolls of toilet paper.

Close to LSU

We came to Baton Rouge to bring our daughter from California to LSU, we were literally 5 min from the school and her Dorm, close to the freeway, although the neighborhood looked a little sketchy , the Property was very nice , clean and accommodated our family for the purpose that we were here for . I will be booking this location for my future trips to Baton Rouge

When we arrived both beds looked like they were slept in there was makeup on the pillows, hair on the sheets, the towels and wash cloths were dingy, the showers had hair, and toilet paper in them, the dishes were in the sink, counters were dirty, tables dirty, the inside of the house was beautiful but the cleanliness of the place was unacceptable. We had to wash all the linen before we could go to bed.. Then we got locked out and was unable to reach the owner/manager for hours to get it unlocked.

The place was spotless and very comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of body soap, conditioner and shampoo. I was in town for business and I decided to stay in a B n B instead of a hotel.

Overall it was a great spot loved the games . The second bedroom bed was really hard and room was small . Location didn’t feel too safe but besides that house was great .

There were a number of things this property needed to do and acquire to boost this rating. I contacted the property manager a week ago privately, and never received a response. Most were minor suggestions that would be easy to implement. I wish them success and was disappointed to not get a response.

Birthday Sleepover

Newly remodeled, tasteful decorated, all the necessary amenities for a fun weekend with my sisters. All the visiting service providers complement the house. Cleaning crew kind of dropped the ball had the brand new frig smelling like old seafood all weekend, but property owner definitely reached out to immediately correct the situation so, that’s the perfect response, and overall it was still very clean.

Don't judge a book by the cover

At first was skeptical about the sourounding, but after walking in the house was presently surprised. Nice decor and had all the basic amenities. The video games and dart board was a good touch. The only thing is that the heat in the house was great in the bedrooms but much cooler in the living room.
