We absolutely loved the location of this cabin. It was off the main strip so a lot less traffic than previous trips. Beautiful views without treacherous hair pin mountain roads. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. Owner was responsive and helpful.
Nice cabin, great view. There is another cabin directly in front of it but it is far enough away to be private. Spacious, clean, nice hot tub. Enjoyed our stay.
We had a fantastic time overall during our stay! The experience was so enjoyable that we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to visit. We are already planning to return and do it again in the future!
Our family immensely enjoyed staying at the Ranch House for several days, and we were sad for our visit to end. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable. The living area was lovely & open. The kitchen had great appliances. The view from the front porch was breath-taking, and the cabin was a convenient distance from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park. We also enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful cabin with us!
We had a great stay with our son and his family. The cabin was spacious and tastefully decorated, plus had board games for the adults and a beautiful hot tub. We also spent many hours of porch time enjoying the mountain view. Our grandson celebrated his fourth birthday and we all went to the Digân Zone where he was able to operate real construction equipment - an amazing memory for him. We took several short family-friendly hikes, plus spent time in the cool mountain streams. Metcalf Bottoms was very close by and we loved it. We also saw a bear while driving the Cadeâs Cove loop. So many good memories together at a beautiful cabin that was centrally located.
Love this cabin, the nature sounds were relaxing. I usually have my Alexa Dot to put me to sleep. Very family oriented. We had Dance/cheer competition in Gatlinburg, TN. The DXA Allstar Won 1st place in 3 different categories, our team hit GRAND CHAMPIONS!!!! So pour of DXA Allstar. The owner is very detailed about to location of the cabin. If i every visit TN again i would stay here.
This was a beautiful cabin in a great location. Very convenient to all the attractions, yet tucked back in a private location. The cabin was appointed nicely with all the conveniences of home.
This property is beyond what we dreamed. The views are incredible. The kids saw wild turkeys in the yard. The hot tub was a nice feature. The house had everything we needed. We would stay again.
Great location, its close to everything. The rooms are cute and the beds are really comfy . Kitchen is nicely outfitted. There is a coffee maker and a Keurig. Bring pods . Firewood is available locally it's a great room and fireplace . Cute cabin and nicely decorated . Our family had fun hiking and going to Dollywood. And to Gatlinburg. Locals are so friendly!
We absolutely loved the location and the cabin. We were only here for two days but we really enjoyed our stay. Our only recommendation would be upgrade the mattresses in all three rooms.
Directions that were given were great. We were able to find the cabin easily thanks to the directions from the owner. The cabin is decorated with such cute antiques and Christmas items. It was close to Dollywood and Sevierville. My family and I enjoyed our stay. My only request or suggestion for the owners would be to have hand towels available with the bath towels and wash cloths.
We had a great time, the cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. It is close to everything, so that was nice. I had my Mom and Aunt with me and where itâs was one floor that made it easier for them. Love it and will be back.
Married 46 years and came to Gatlinburg on our Honeymoon. We have visited most every year since. We love the area and 17 years ago bought our first small cabin on Ski Mountain. During the wild fires of 2016 it burned along with 2000 other cabins and buildings in Gatlinburg. In 2017 we rebuilt a beautiful cabin that the new one you now see is an exact replica but 20-25% larger with some great additions. After trying to get our neighbors to sell one of their properties to no avail so we could build another one on Ski Mtn for more family to visit during the same time we decided to sell and buy in Wears Valley which we think is the most beautiful area of the entire Smokies. After trees continuing to fall on ski mtn from the fires of 2016, power lines, steep drives we wanted a safer , less crowded and better views of the mountains. Wears Valley gave us that opportunity and instead of two half acre lots we got 5 lots totaling 15 acres with a stream running through them and beautiful mountain views. But this time with a flat drive way and roads getting there. We fell in love with Wears Valley a beautiful and still unspoiled part of the Smokies and Gatlinburg area. The bonus was we bought from the original family that settled Wears Valley the Crowson family which the valley was named after until about 100 years ago when it was named after a confederate war officer. The Crowson family has owned this land since 1802 and been living here since 1795 when the original family member aaron came to settle and make a home for his young family. The US Govt gave him the first land grant in the valley which was 2000 acres. The family has lived here since then and we bought from the 7th generation Crowson last year. The history is rich here. We now own the largest original piece bought directly from the first family. Their family cemetary is about 1/4 mile away with every generation Crowson buried there beginning with AARON. You can find it by googling it. You are allowed to visit.
The Why goes on and on. We have already given a big piece of it. History of over 200 years from the original family. Views of the mountains. The beauty of the Valley is breathe taking in every season . Peaceful and much less crowded than the touristy spots yet just minutes out of Pigeon Forge and the many famous attractions and about 12 miles from Gatlinburg.
Less crowded. Unspoiled. Peaceful. 15 acres of beautiful land with woods, creek, open spaces and beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains. Only 2.5 miles from the best kept entrance of the National Park here in Wears Valley. Close to Cades Cove, townsend and tubing and just minutes into Pigeon Forge. Stay on the original settlers land that was in the same family for over 7 generations and now we have the honor of being part of that history.
