Green Flag Day is located in the Cottages of Eastern Lake subdivision, tucked away off 30A near plenty of dining and shopping. The community features a large pool at the end of the subdivision with plenty of palm trees for shaded relaxation and loungers when you're ready to soak up the Florida sun.

Inside this home you'll love the warm neutrals and cool blues. The comfy living area sits next to the open kitchen with a large island that's the perfect prep space for your meals and snacks. 2 can sit at the island and there is seating for 6 at the dining table. The home is all on one level with no sets of stairs to worry about! With 3 bedrooms, this Seagrove beach cottage can sleep up to 6 guests.

Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1: King bed and private bathroom with large walk-in shower.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, TV.
Bedroom 3: 2 twin beds, TV.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the hallway bath with dual vanities and tub/shower combination.

Beach Access:
Head down Eastern Lake Court, turning left onto Lakewood Drive. Follow Lakewood until Beachfront Trail and turn right. There is a public parking lot here as well. Down the end of Beachfront Trail is your beach access, Walton Dunes.
Distance: .6 miles | Time: 3 minutes biking

Seagrove Beach:
You can't beat the location when it comes to food. You're within walking distance to great local favorites for lunch and dinner not to mention coffee and donuts. Enjoy the relaxed environment surrounding all the options at Coastal Dune Co. Grab a fresh catch at Buddy's Seafood Market, or dine-in at Old Florida Fish House.

Feeling adventurous? Rent a bike and jump on the 20-mile Timpoochee bike trail that runs right around the corner from the neighborhood. Visit famous Seaside and Grayton Beach State Park to the West. Head East and discover more of Seagrove Beach plus the wonderful coastal communities of Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach. Enjoy exploring the boutique shops, fabulous restaurants, and beautiful state parks in each of these communities.

A Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

Reviewer Comments: This house was beautiful and had a well equipped kitchen to cook a few meals at home, even a bbq.We brought bikes so it was a quick ride to the beach. Centrally located between Seaside and Seacrest so we biked each way. So fun!

Sweet Spot

We were in a small quiet neighborhood near the pool and a public beach access. We were super close to restaurants but you would never know by how peaceful the home felt. It was small but laid out so well that it felt spacious with 3 adults and 2 teenage boys. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others!

Perfect Place for Needs

We were in town for our son's wedding and could not have been more pleased with the house and location. It was centrally located for all of our events, easy to park, and a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable and well-appointed. We would stay there again for sure!

The house is in a great location just seconds off the main road and short 7 minute walk to the beach. My only complaint is the cookware is Teflon, and there was no knife sharpener. We will definitely recommend this location to our friends.

Perfect Vacation Home by the Beach

Based on previous reviews, we were a little reluctant to stay here. However, it could not have been a more perfect home for our family. It’s set on a quiet street about a 5 minute bike ride from the beach. It’s also equally distant from both Seaside and Rosemary, so you can enjoy both communities without getting caught up in their crazy traffic. Both are an easy 30 minute bike ride or a 5 minute drive. Our kitchen was adequately equipped (we cooked in for all but two meals) and it has a gas grill just outside the back door. The master bedroom and bathroom were wonderful and the other two bedrooms were perfect for our single adult daughters. We’ve saved this property and expect to rent it again in the future.

Exceed our expectations

We were nervous based on the reviews, however, the location you can't beat. The home itself was great! There is a grill, laundry, and enough pots and pans, really spacious. Everyone was happy! I think a recommendation would be just having a highchair available and a pack-n-play for families. The pool was great. Beach was extremely close.

Fantastic Property

This house was just as described and better than we expected! It immaculately kept and was very comfortable for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). The pool on the property was gorgeous. The location to the beach was great via the golf cart and proximity to restaurants and shopping also great. I highly recommend and can see myself booking this house for future beach trips.

Less than Satisfied

No resting in this home. Different issues daily! Multiple calls and visits from repairs/cleaners/management company. Less than relaxing vacation! The property was dirty upon our arrival. Way too much to type. We had to request housekeeping to come back out and clean the floors. They were absolutely disgusting. While we were getting ready for dinner the cleaners were there , so we had to hurry and leave so they were able to clean. No hot water. We had to take cold showers two days in a row. Construction on BOTH sides. Our kids were woken up daily. Once we got them back to sleep, the repair man woke them up by knocking on the door to come and fix the hot water. No one let us know someone was coming to fix the water. Lightbulb in master bedroom was out, had to call and request new light bulbs. No remote for living room TV. Had to call and request a remote. They brought one that did not work. Never was able to use the living room TV. Unbelievable amount of gnats, ants and bugs. Called about this with no resolution. None of my family would sit on the couch in the living room. Every time you would sit down , dust and particles would fly off the couch into the air. It was truly gross. Construction workers next door can see in the master bathroom window directly into the shower! Once we realized this we had to put a pillow in the window so they couldn’t see us showering. The list could continue. Needless to say we did not have the restful family vacation we had hoped for.

The location was good and the kids loved riding their bikes in the cul-de-sac and it was just a five minute bike ride to the beach. The negatives were the house is very sparingly supplied, especially in the kitchen. We flew into town with a carry-on and didn't think to bring beach towels. The house provided ONE towel per person. I dried off with a hand towel after each shower. The house didn't have mixing bowls, measuring cups, a wisk any sort of food storage, plastic cups, liquid hand soap in the bathrooms. The coffee maker was Keurig so we would have had to buy expensive pods to make coffee. The ice maker didn't work. After asking, the management company brought us a blow dryer & blender. If you're driving to the beach, come prepared with lots from your house.

Bad experience with Benchmark

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I have used Benchmark for the past few years and up until now we have been very satisfied. I originally called to book a week's getaway on the beach for my family and trusted Benchmark to match a place to our requested needs and wants. However, once we arrived we discovered that a house was being built right beside our rental and one was being built right beside the pool. Workers would began working as early as 7:15 and as work late into the evening causing very loud noise due to power tools. I called Benchmark early in the week to see if we could be moved and was told that nothing could be done. Also, I called at the end of the week to ask for some form of compensation and again was denied. My family and I would have never booked this rental if we had knew about the sound pollution because Benchmark had many other choices available. We are very disappointed and will most likely use another booking company in the future.
